A great location, we were keen to return to this hotel after a brilliant visit last year and were delighted to have the same comfortable room, as requested, looking out onto the gardens. A warm welcome from Anoosh (?) who kindly arranged for us to leave our bags when we arrived very early and it was great to find them taken to our room for us by the time we returned from shopping. We loved popping into the lounge for a complimentary coffee when we fancied it.
We were disappointed this year to find that the complimentary snacks which had been available on our previous visit no longer existed; we had enjoyed looking in the fridge for a treat with our coffee in the evening last time (and the website still mentions the chef leaving occasional treats in the pantry, but we were told no). Also disappointing was the quality of bread rolls at breakfast this time round; definitely not fresh and too tough to eat. Hard-boiled eggs were in short supply with none at all one morning, but the yoghurt and fresh fruit were lovely. Since our last visit, it felt like corners had been cut, with less staff around this year too, which all sadly contributed to us feeling a bit let down, when we had been so looking forward to coming back. .

Lovely place, loved the colours, the lounge area was lovely to sit in nice and peaceful, the rooms were very nicely decorated and the vaulted bath speaks for itself.
The cocktails need a bit of work, can’t remember the cocktail names but one was red that unfortunately tasted like bleach and there was one with elderflower that actually tasted like toothpaste, nothing can do about the area unfortunately as there were loud crackheads outside the window at 2-3am being loud

The hotel is an absolute delight. The decor is quirky and elegant. We took a vaulted bathroom and the sunken bath is the ultimate in luxury. Just be careful stepping out... it is deep! The staff were lovely and the manager (Martin) could not have been more attentive (and a great shout for the next Dr. Who!) I love me a bit of luxury but I am also an independent sort of person. The Gyle hit the balance just right for me.
There was a lack of places to hang towels. We were confused by the room heating controls but the ambient temperature was close enough that it wasn't a bother - might have been different in winter or summer? To be fair, we are scraping the barrel to find any constructive criticism!

The property is clean and decorated nicely with a cozy aesthetic! The bar is really beautiful too. And, the French gentleman at the front desk was super lovely.
I really didn’t care for the bathroom in the room for a couple reasons. Instead of a wall as a barrier between the bathroom and room, there is a textured glass that - for the most part - you can’t see between. But if the lights in the room are out at night and you just turn the bathroom light on, you can see in it a bit. I also really didn’t like the toilets - they are the kind that just come out of the wall rather than have a base and they were high up. I’m a 5’7” (so, not particularly short), plus size woman and I couldn’t comfortably sit on the toilet with my feet flat on the floor… I had to be on my tiptoes while using the toilet, which wasn’t super comfortable.

We didn’t have breakfast, there is an amazing cafe cappadocia around the corner. The room was very very clean, and large (me and my daughter were in a twin room, my mom in a large king) both rooms were in the basement and in the evening it was noisy until late, you can hear people walking and talking above, but for this purpose the ear plugs were invented. The staff was very very nice, the shower amazing, y the beds comfortable, a 3 minute walk from kings cross tube station, lots of cafes and restaurants around. Will definitely be staying here again.
The room was a little dark. The noise at night, but earplugs solved that

We stayed here with our Miniature Dachshund for one night only. The staff was very helpful and super friendly - we even got a free upgrade to one of their rooms with a small private patio. The rooms were very clean and stylish. The rain shower had excellent water pressure and there were comfy bathrobes available. We were also offered a free welcome drink and some snacks at the bar, but were too tired after a full day of travelling to make use of this (still it was nice to offer).
It‘s nothing the staff can do anything about, it‘s only about the interior design: the bed was very small (approximately 140cm wide and 190cm long for two people). My boyfriend is 186cm and his feet were hanging out of the bed but there also wasn‘t enough space to curl his legs up, without pushing me out of the bed 😂.

The striking style of this hotel is stunning. Philip was of immense help when we checked in and made us feel very welcome, also helping us carry bags to our room. The outdoor patio adjacent to our room was unique and a cozy place to sit and enjoy. The lighting in the room is also warm and inviting. The place is very modern and artsy, but attractively so, with many interesting features in the lounge/entry/bar area. It's the most unique place I've ever stayed. The two male staff members - Philip and the very stylish gentleman the morning we left - were constantly attentive and professional.
The twin room we got was large enough size-wise, but the small tables by the beds were attractive more than functional. The bathroom was also gorgeously outfitted, but there was little room for two women to keep all their toiletries. We loved the shower, but there's such good water pressure, the "high-tech" drain couldn't handle the capacity and caused a minor flood.

Great place to stay while visiting London. Perfect hub for regional and local travel. The location is set back into a quieter area of the neighborhood near St. Pancras, yet convenient to the Underground and Eurostar. We enjoyed everything about the hotel… the quiet, calm atmosphere, the professional service provided by the staff, the selection of continental breakfast items such as a variety of breads and croissants, boiled eggs, fruit, etc.- a great start to our busy days. The coffee, tea, and bar selections were superb. The breakfast/bar area was centrally located, comfortable and peaceful. Our room was spacious with lots of complimentary amenities, luxury bath, temperature controlled, very comfy bed, linens and bathrobes. The staff was present, but not intrusive. They were attentive, always politely helpful. We felt very welcome throughout our one week stay and would definitely return.
I would only recommend a couple of hooks in the bathroom for hanging of used bath towels and clothing, for example. This was only a slight inconvenience.

It was easy to find very short journey walking distance to King's Cross the room was clean was a good size though picture was different to reality however didn't matter too much because the room was lovely shower was a little small but fully functional. Quiet no noise disturbances Let your foot
The lock on the door was a little bit tricky I wasn't sure whether it was locking when I was doing it there are stairs I didn't see any lifts so I'm not sure this would be good for anyone that struggles with flights of stairs. Advertised baggage hold however the bags are just left in front of the desk where you check in in the main lobby is manned all the time so my bag did feel safe but just the pre warning

Friendly & helpful staff. Querky hotel & very clean. Fab power shower with over head / or hose choice. Downstairs in bar area there is complimentary tea - wide range of teas , coffee and nibbles. In room complimentary tea, coffee , fridge with water and sparkling water, salted corn pot and gummy bear pot ( lovely touch) Plenty of hangers in wardrobe area, Dressing gowns, slippers , hairdryer, tissues, cotton buds, cotton wool balls, usb and electric sockets by bed, shaver point by sink. Heating controls. Tv on wall. Bed was very comfortable but small, pillows weren’t the best in our room but our friend’s room had better firmer pillows. Breakfast was good quality produce & continental and had a wide selection of yogurts, pastries, cereals, bread to toast , range of jams . Cheese, ham, smoked salmon. Fresh orange , apple juice available too. Location was good . Would recommend and would happily book another stay if we need to.
Nothing to dislike. Only thing for us was the pillows in our particular room ( that’s a personal choice ) and as much as breakfast was extremely good with wide choice we personally prefer a cooked breakfast( again a personal choice)
