The location is excellent. Practically across the street from KingsCross Station. Lots of places to eat, an atm close by, etc. The staff was helpful and friendly. And we liked that they kept our luggage safe before our room was ready
This is not a quiet hotel. You easily hear activity on the street and voices in the hall. However we were so tired that the noise did not bother us. Our room with 2 single and one double beds was perfect for our travel with two teenage sons but the room was so small that even with our limited bags it was hard to walk in the room. But we were rarely in the room. We used the fabulous location of this hotel to use Kings Cross and Euston stations to go sightseeing each day. So the size of the room was not a problem at all

Perfectly adequate at a basic level. Single room with shared shower and loo. There was wash basin and kettle (with tea/coffee), TV and WiFi in room. Good price especially for location. Can hear train noise but I don't mind. Hot water is nice and hot. Heating in room was adequate (February).
Shower room had no dry area - would have been better if there was a cubicle with a door, so floor and personal items outside cubicle could be kept dry. No sanitary bin in toilet - this would be better especially for a shared toilet. But at least everything was kept clean, and toilet paper always replenished so that was fine.

If you’re on the hunt for a budget-friendly hotel, this place truly hits the mark! While the rooms might lean toward the cosy and small side, they exude warmth and charm that make for a comfortable stay. The shower room is surprisingly spacious, featuring consistently hot water—just what you need to refresh after a long day. The overall cleanliness is satisfactory, making it feel inviting. Plus, finding tea and coffee readily available in your room adds a lovely touch, making you feel right at home. This hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking simplicity and comfort without straining their wallet!
You really do get what you pay for, and this stay was no exception. While the room was on the smaller side, I found myself wishing the communal shower had a few more hooks for my clothes—navigating a wet floor in such a spacious area was less than ideal. A couple of the communal doors also made quite the squeak at night; definitely in need of some oil! However, despite these quirks, I can't complain too much; given the price, my stay was pretty adequate overall.

It's a super convenient location near a big transport hub of St Pancras and King's Cross, we came straight from the airport and could go anywhere by train, bus or tube. The place is really worth its money, and suits you if you can't spend much. It's really cheap for this popular place. The rooms are cleaned well and towels are changed every day, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. There is a hospitality tray with coffee, tea, sugar and milk. The glasses and cups were washed for us. There's a TV that we barely used because we came to see London. I had to work twice on zoom, the internet was stable. Our room number 19 faced the backyard and the lower ground floor's rooftop, so it was quiet even in this busy area. It has a separate bathroom and toilet, so myself and the kids were comfortable. There's a laundrette over the corner, and a Co-op over another corner.
If your room is facing the street and not the backyard - it might be noisy during daytime as there's a busy area and a construction in process (a compact one, nothing to be afraid of). However, you'll be rewarded with a view of King's Cross station.

Everything really. My first night I was cold as I was adjusting to the London weather, but then I got used to it. The location was terrific and as it is a major transport hub,I didn't expect it to be quiet. I live near lots of trains and buses in a major US city and I sleep well at night,no issues with noise for me or at the Belgrove. Yes there are stairs and no elevator but(I was on an "American" 4th floor)that's actually in the hotel's site description already, but again I personally didn't mind. The receptionists were wonderful and so was housekeeping. Side note: I don't understand some of the reviews here and this obsession with breakfast as it keeps popping up. There are tons of places around to eat your morning meal,go out and and explore some. Otherwise,it's a good hotel in the right location. I was happy with it!
I have no dislikes.

Budget friendly. Excellent location - a stone throw from kings cross stn and St Pancras underground Close to other amenities/food outlets Warm, comfortable, clean. Little miniature soaps in the bathroom. And the curtains were great at blocking out the morning light Plenty tea and coffee - we were told just to ask if we wanted any more. On arrival the staff member was kind, friendly and welcoming. It's basic but it's all you need if your in london for an explore
We couldn't get the tv to tune in- not a big deal we were only here for an overnight. Across the road is a building site, being mid-week it was very active in the morning - not the hotels fault and actually wasn't a problem for us We could have used some extra pillows - we didn't ask but I'm sure we could have and it wouldn't have been an issue

Though this hotel looks a bit sketchy, and the reviews are harsh, it's actually amazing. We easily slept 3 adults in one room with 3 beds. It was very, very clean. The bathroom was hilariously tiny but again, very clean. Tiny TV but who comes to London to watch TV? No refrigerator. Location was spitting distance from St. Pancras International Station and so insanely cheap. Tons to do all around, loads of restaurants, easy access.
The walls are thin but I've stayed in a few places in London and this is the norm. Just wear earplugs or have a good time at a pub before bed and you won't notice. It's London! The city is noisy. No big deal.

Location was absolute highlight. Close to tube and trainstation. We also appreciated that we could have left your luggage at the hotel even after checking out, while we went exploring. The staff was always very helpful and nice.
The bathroom looked like it was under construction, there were holes in the walls and a very cold breeze came through them which made every stay in the bathroom quite uncomfortable. However we had such a busy schedule that the only time we were in the hotel was for sleep, so the stay was nice.

Literally across the road from Kings Cross Station. Get what you pay for, it is a very basic hotel but it is clean and does the job. The lovely lady on reception was very welcoming and helpful! I asked for a ground floor room which I got but I didn’t realise how noisy it would be, hotel staff were great in changing my room.
Building work going on across the road from the property which starts relatively early during the week. If you’re wanting to lie in ask for a room at the rear of the property. I asked for a ground floor room and didn’t realise how loud it would be, but have to admit they were very helpful with switching my room.

I liked the fact the room looked like it had been cleaned. The bedsheets were clean, the table was clean, and the floor was clean. The bed was on the firmer side, which I don't mind. Taps worked which is always a plus. The location is great, literally a minute away from the underground, didn't order anything but saw there were a few takeaways around so food is also available (You can also order to the hotel afaik).
It would have been nicer if there was another plug socket somewhere, from what I could tell there were only 2, and if you wanted to watch TV and use the fan (due to it being hot) you couldn't plug in anything else to charge/use. The room does get quite hot even with the ceiling fan on and the smaller fan, which was slightly uncomfortable. Wi-fi is a bit sporadic but I saw that from other reviewers so I made sure to download stuff before I arrived. The towel I received had some darker marks on it, not sure if those were permanent stains or if it wasn't cleaned properly but it put me off using it.
