The location was amazing and the staff were lovely! They upgraded us for free as my mother and I were originally going to share a bed. In all honesty you get what you paid for, yes the room wasn’t perfect but we didn’t expect it to be. There were no bugs as some of the other reviews stated and we only experienced loud neighbours for one night out of six. i wouldn’t recommend trying to fit a whole family into one room but for 2 people it was perfect!
I wouldn’t recommend adding some fresh fruit options to the already lovely continental breakfast.

Excellent location, minutes away from the St. Pancras train station, underground and bus stops. Several supermarkets, restaurants, pubs (that serve Hawkstone), a Subway (which is my personal favourite sandwich stop) and convenience stores are just around the corner. Having said this, you are not disrupted by street noise etc. The staff is always polite and helpful. Unlike some other similar places in the area, this one has a reception and a clerk 24/7. The room was clean and tidy. After learning that I loved coffee, the housekeeping staff left an extra sachet every day and this is worthy of mentioning. I didn't care about the small room or the furniture as I was visiting for business and out all day and neither should you. After a long day of meetings and walking around all I wanted was a hot shower and a good sleep and they provided all, in spades. The clerk even secured my baggage after I checked out and until I collected them late in the afternoon.
Perhaps some extra power sockets would help a lot.

Didn't have breakfast as it is continental - not my choice, but looked good for what it was and value for money. Was easily able to find a place nearby offering full English. Comfortable bed. Room at front of hotel, so overlooked park opposite - nice view. Small but adequate bathroom. Good housekeeping. 24 hour reception - didn't have to take key out with me - something less to lose.
Main light in room only turned on/off by door. So on retiring for the night I had to go switch on the bedside light, then go back to door to switch off the main light. 2-way switch by door and bed would be useful. Less stairs would have been welcome, but I appreciate they cannot accommodate everyone on the ground floor. I did not store my luggage on leaving, and I would not. I saw others luggage obviously being stored - in the corridor - not at all secure.

Nice hotel. Pros: Good location, Clean , quiet and cozy rooms, clean linen, nice attached bath and toilet. The staff is good.
Cons: Scope for improvement: Please top up disposables in the room like tea coffee bags daily. Keep the room heater on it is winter now.Have a floor mat in the wash room near the bath area, use a plastic curtain instead of cloth in the shower area. Breakfast time should start a bit earlier. Using the room safe, and luggage storage should be complimentary and shouldn't be charged extra.

Staff couldn’t be more welcoming and cheerful. The bedrooms were immaculately clean. Yes, the decor is dated but who cares when it’s so clean and comfy and such great value? I’m very fussy about cleanliness and towels were changed every day and not a bit of fluff anywhere. Those who have in the past whinged about the room decor and size should reflect on the excellent value and quality of people looking after them, coupled with a brilliant location right by the Eurostar. I would highly recommend.
Nothing really

Perfect location for travelling. Train and underground 5 minutes walk away and lots of food places around for something quick and surprising cheap. Not quite a destination stay if your looking at staying in the room or activities in that area as there isn't much around but its central for travel. If its just a base you then its perfect if your on a site seeing trip. The reception team are really nice and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would happily return here again
A bit dated but sufficient for what I needed it for. Breakfast could have had more to offer, eggs maybe or something warm other then toast. But for ÂŁ5 it was fine.

The hotel is very conveniently located - just across the street from King's Cross Station, literally a 7-minute walk. The room is tiny and cramped - it is but to be expected in central London. It's relatively clean, the tiny bathroom is functional, too. It's an ok place to stay a couple nights.
The street leading up to the hotel doesn't feel super safe if you go back late in the evening, with a group of bikers smoking weed in the corner. The room itself - no fresh air whatsoever. It was very hot in London when we were there and there was literally no air to breathe in the room. We left the window open for the night and we turned the fan on, it helped, but only a little. The room is really tiny, too, you can barely move about. I stayed there with my elderly parents, not the most comfortable place to be, but as I always say - it's not bad for Central London standards of affordable accomodation.

Good value for money. V comfy bed, tiny, clean room but I was there to catch a very early train from St Pancras International so wasn't spending any time there. Extremely handy for Eurostar
Maybe a slight reconfiguration of the room, it doesn't need a wardrobe - I had nowhere to open my suitcase, and maybe if the lamp had been plugged in so I hadn't had to struggle to reach the wall plug - but really only minor things

Perfect location near King's Cross, very modestly priced. My room was cosy, warm and safe, with a good shower, comfortable bed, decent wardrobe and amenities. The staff were friendly and I felt welcome. Perfect for a short business stay, I slept well. The hotel does not have a lift and the corridors are a little narrow, so large families with bulky luggage should bear that in mind. But for the price, can't fault it.

Location was second to none. Easy walk to Kings Cross and St Pancras stations. During the stay you actually leave your key at the 24/7 desk. Never have to worry about losing your key.
It is a low budget no frills so the room furniture is worn. My only issue is the showerhead was malfunctioning so you had to hold it versus leaving on the stand.
