The location was very convenient although a bit loud due to proximity to the train stations, and a general nearby nightlife, but I felt relatively safe outside nonetheless. The park across the street was beautiful in the daylight. The room itself was clean and tidy and had everything necessary for the night. The shower could even get pretty hot, which is hard to find these days!

The park across the street was very sketchy when out after dark - I can almost promise you that I witnessed a drug deal when walking to the hotel after dinner. The stairs to the rooms were also very steep and tight, so not great for lots of luggage. Overall the rooms felt safe and comfortable though!

The shower was a little cramped, but the shower head was incredibly adjustable for such a small space. The location was perfect, with easy access to transport, laundromat and groceries.

There was a lack of hanging space for towels and heavy coats, and there was a intermittent smell of cigarettes through out my stay. The staff took steps to address the smoking issues when raised.

I stayed here for one night whilst on a visit to my son who lives in London; then I caught the Eurostar to Paris the following morning. The location was excellent; Just a very short walk to St Pancras Station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They brought my luggage upstairs to my room for me. The room, although small, was very comfortable and clean.

Nothing really

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Nice location close to King’s Cross St Pancras and Kings cross. Lots of stores and restaurants near the stations and property.

The rooms weren’t sound proof. Because I could literally hear everything that the neighbours were doing, talking, walking even taking a wee. I didn’t see a breakfast option at the hotel while booking.

Room was cosy, had a balcony

Room was freezing, only got warm when u left the key card in, which doesn't help when your out all day + want to come back to a warm room

The rooms have been upgraded within recent years. Of course they're small, and of course one has to climb several flights of stairs (this is, after all, a "budget" hotel); but the furnishings, the lighting, and especially the bathroom fixtures are far superior to those in other comparable establishments. The staff was helpful, the desk is staffed 24/7. I'll stay here again, unless they raise their prices.

The desk chair in my room was nearly disintegrating. Other than that, I have no complaints—all the other problems (stairs, etc.) are what one expects for the price.

I was very happy with my stay. The building is old and the room is very small, but extremely clean and equipped with everything I needed; the bathroom is actually very modern, with extra light and defogging built into the mirror, and an adequate size and well functioning heater. The location is excellent, with a less than 5-minute walk to King's Cross / St. Pancras station.

The walls are very thin, and I could hear the person in the next room on the phone. But it didn't really bother me, and she stopped talking before it got too late.

I'm a 73 year old woman, and I must say the staff were amazing - they were extremely helpful, kind and went above and beyond to help me whenever I needed it - leaping to my assistance whenever they saw me carrying heavy bags. I had a lovely view of the park, and the water pressure and temperature in the bathroom were perfect. Location is central and connected to all the tubes, with the British Library across the street with a lot of lovely small restaurants.

The room was small, but when one is so central this is to be expected (unless you're willing to pay extortionate amounts). It was still very much comfortable and I was happy with the week I spent there.

Cheap and next to the station. Nice that there was a phone charger there too.

Shower was cold but then I found it took a while for hot water to come through. Spoke to hotel staff on check out. He said would I of spoke to reception for help at the time but I said no but I could have I just needed at that time to go and get my train. P.S don’t let this put you off my advice would be to turn the shower to hot and wait for it to come through.

The central location near three major rail termini and access to several nearby tube stations is fantastic. Great for tourists, couples and single business travellers. The room was comfortable and looked out onto the small park in the square. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially the night receptionist who helped us with our luggage.

Within the limitations of the hotel all was good. But guests must realise that this is small hotel in Central London located in an old house where space is at a premium. The rooms are small, and the en suite bathrooms, and there is no lift. Disabled or elderly people have to negotiate steep and narrow staircases.
