Single room... compact but very okay for my stay in London. (May not suit everyone.) New and clean., comfortable pillows and clean linen. Hairdryer, coffee/tea facility, safe for valuables, small screen wall tv and ensuite shower space. Liked the extras: small bedside light which could be angled for reading, lit bathroom mirror for makeup. Location: 10 min walk to 2 undergrounds - central, Circle and District lines or nice walk through Kensington Gardens. Lots of choice of small restaurants nearby.

Staff were brilliant. Breakfast was very good too. Everything was very clean and the whole property was very well-maintained. Nice hotel and great view over a garden and in a quiet location.

Whilst the single room was fine, it was small and the en-suite bathroom wasn't easy to use. The shower was tiny and basically had to be hand held and there just wasn't enough space.

I loved this little hotel! It is located about a 4-5 minute walk from the Bayswater Station, and there are many restaurants and shops nearby, too. I was traveling on a budget and knew I wouldn’t be in my room much, so I chose the small single room with the private bathroom outside of my room. It was small but very clean, and it was all that I needed, even including a very large picture window and a sink in the room. I didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel, but it always smelled good, and another plus is the hotel has a lift! No pulling luggage up the stairs! Now, the best thing, besides all the other good things, were the staff. They were so incredibly kind and helpful, I really liked everyone there I interacted with. Given the cost of the hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised by how comfortable I found my stay to be in all aspects. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for something simple in a great location.

The room we had was spacious and had everything we needed, including a coffee machine. The bed is very comfy. It had a very good hot shower. Good places to put everything. Very clean everywhere. The location is great - love the village of Bayswater - handy for the tubes (Bayswater and Queensway) - super local shops to browse around. Fantastic local restaurants offering lots of different cuisine. Great cafes too!

The pillows weren't great - one very flat and the other lumpy. The toilet doesn't have a great flush on it. Our room was next to the lift which could be a bit noisy but that's the same in every hotel room next to a lift around the world!

Hotel situated in a veey nice area! Very close to shops, restaurants, groceries. 5mins walk from Bayswater Station and Queensway Station for the tube. Or same distance to bus stops. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room always cleaned & clean bed linen & towels. Comfy beds! Every day our room was topped up with coffee, teas etc.. Not noisy inside .. very quiet!

Honestly there is nothing to complain about except that I would have preferred some more space between the edge of the bed (footer) to the wall! But we managed just fine!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Garden Court Hotel in London, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to many key attractions yet tucked away in a peaceful, picturesque neighborhood. The building has a charming historic vibe, and the interior is warm and welcoming. The staff were truly exceptional—friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile. The hotel’s proximity to public transport made it easy to get around the city, but I also enjoyed walking around the beautiful area surrounding the hotel. Overall, the Garden Court Hotel provides excellent value, comfort, and service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in London!

Superb location, felt really safe, staff lovely. We were able to get into our room earlier than expected and on departure our bags were kept for us until ready to collect. Overall we had a lovely short stay and would definitely recommend.

One noticeable stain on carpet but still rated top marks as everything else on the mark. Had room 601,which is opposite the reception area and way through to lift and other rooms etc. When door opened you could see into the whole room as the inner porch area had clear glass. Not ideal. We just made sure noone in the area when entering.

The location was amazing and the staff was very friendly. A special mention to Johanna, who was on the breakfast room almost every morning, and was incredibly attentive and kind.

The hotel wifi doesn’t work in the rooms, only the public wifi, which we didn’t want to use for security reasons. We changed rooms, thinking we’d have a better wifi in the new room, but it didn’t improve much (and then the mattress was less comfortable).

It’s so difficult to find a clean and cozy hotel at a fair price in London, even more in Notting Hill. The Garden Court not only is clean, but exceeds expectations with having the rooms cleaned and redone every day. My view was on the private garden on the square, pretty nice.

I read lots of critics about the breakfast, I suggest a short walk for buying croissants and a coffee. Faire enough you don’t get the same breakfast they serve at The Ritz. You were looking for a bargsin, weren’t you?

Really well situated in a quiet street near Bayswater/Queensway/Royal Oak underground stations. Staff was kind and helpful, room was comfortable and well equipped. I had one of the small single rooms with a separate private bathroom, but was easy to reach the bathroom and the bathroom was also spotlessly clean. I also like the hotel policy of cleaning on request so you can reduce the water/energy impact of your stay
