Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for three nights for our first time in Glasgow, and from start to finish, it was a great experience. One of the first things we appreciated was the ability to leave our bags in our own locked storage before our room was readyâa really convenient feature that made exploring the city hassle-free. The hotel's modern art and dĂ©cor gave it a unique, stylish vibe that made the whole place feel cool and energetic, no matter your age. It wasnât just decorationâit added to the atmosphere and made every space feel fun and inviting. There were plenty of areas to relax and socialise, with a great variety of seating options. We especially loved the entertainment choicesâthere was a pool table, a mini arcade machine, and other games, which made the communal spaces feel lively and fun. A lovely touch was the complimentary welcome cocktail, setting the tone for a warm and inviting stay. Another small but innovative detail was the option to rent umbrellas for just ÂŁ2 a dayâsuch a handy perk given Glasgow's unpredictable weather! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with a city map and taking the time to highlight both the must-see attractions and some hidden gems. Now, onto the room itselfâperfectly sized for two people, with a super comfortable bed and pillows that felt like sleeping on a cloud. The blackout curtains were fantastic for a great night's sleep. We also loved the tech-friendly setup, especially the ability to cast Netflix or Spotify to the TV. The shower had amazing pressure, making it hard to step out of. The in-room coffee station was a great added touch, perfect for starting the day. One of the best touches was the option for early check-in and late check-out at no extra cost. Overall, this hotel delivered on every frontâstylish, comfortable, and packed with little details that made our stay extra special. Would definitely stay here again!
The only minor downsides were that the gaming amenities werenât freeâpool was ÂŁ2 per game, and other games had their own prices. It would have been nice if they were included, but not a big deal. The heating system was a bit confusing. We thought we were turning on air conditioning, but the hotel doesnât have it, so we were actually increasing the heat. The plaque next to the controls wasnât very clear. These were small inconveniences that didnât impact our stayâwe still had a fantastic time and would definitely return!

Location was fabulous, easy walk to restaurants, shops and bars. Duke St carpark is where to park - only cost us ÂŁ6 for 24 hours. Bed was really comfortable, shower pressure was great and breakfast offered a wide selection; we were pleasantly surprised by this.
Power sockets in rooms had the switches too close to the pins for our adapters so we couldn't charge our things properly. While it's good having usb charging too - it took 10 hours for my phone to fully charge so a bit of a pain. Also, get rid of the free welcome "cocktail" (it's just juice) or make it a proper one.

The hotel is welcoming with bright and modern interior. The welcome cocktail on arrival was a lovely gesture and the staff who checked us in were friendly and knowledgable. Our room was clean and the bed and pillows really comfortable so we had a great night sleep. We also loved the dim light under the bed that automatically came on through night when going to the bathroom. Location was okay for us as we were attending a concert at St Lukeâs and this was the closest hotel to the venue. The breakfast was cooked fresh and plenty of choice. We thought it was as excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
Although there was tea and coffee facilities in the room it would have been nice to have a biscuit as well.

Both the hotel and the room looked really nice and modern, clean and I loved all the lights! There was even a sensor underneath the bed, very useful. Toiletries were good and the tv was amazing. The hotel is so attractive in general, cosy and full with games at the bar. I even spotted a foosball!! đ The room was super quiet too!
Maybe the carpet, there are no phones in the room, no easy way to contact reception and I wasnât able to switch the heating off so it was too warm during the night. I would have chosen 100% cotton sheets and it was a shame that the breakfast was served 6-10am

The hotel is right beside the train station, although you could not hear these. It is within walking distance to the main shopping areas and local bars and restaurants. The welcome at reception was great. No fuss to get checked in. The room was light and airy. Really spacious. I particularly liked that there was no mirror facing the bed. The bed was really comfortable, room at a decent temperature and the toilet was bigger than expected. When we came back in the evening staff let us get on and do our own thing. Checking out was easy. Staff there to take our key. We were able to leave our heavy bags there while we went shopping. Fantastic.
Breakfast. Yes they had cereals, continental and a selection of hot foods. But. By the time you get your hot food and then the toast (when you find the toaster) your hot food is cold. I had to ask for breakfast teabags, again with hot food going cold this was disappointing. Staff were not so helpful. I watched other clients have difficulty in finding everything they wanted, a person in that area would be beneficial ( as there were four at the reception part one could have been assigned the breakfast area.)

We loved the Glasgow themed decor, laid back feel and friendly staff. The choice of seating areas around the bar and pool table was excellent. The attention to detail in the bar area and fun decor kept us entertained as we were constantly spotting new pictures or items. Even a row of umbrellas at the door for guests to use was a perfect touch for a Glasgow visit! Our room had everything we needed and was clean & comfortable. The stay was quiet and restful. Breakfast was leisurely with great coffee and a good selection of food and drink. The free lockers allowed us to leave luggage after check-out so we could hit the shops. The location was good with just a 10min walk to the heart of the shopping area via George Square. It was only a 7min walk into the bars and restaurants in the Merchant City area.
We loved everything!

Lovely hotel with a comfortable room and nice bathroom. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Good location; a 10 minute walk from Queen Street Station and Buchanan Street subway station. There is a multi story car park a 5 minute walk away which charged us ÂŁ6 per 24 hours (Duke Street Car Park). There was also an area near the hotel entrance where we were able to stop in the car to unload our bags.
The coffee available at breakfast wasn't good - but there are many cafes near the university!

Quieter part of the city, near the university but not student accommodation. Really handy for going to Barrowlands & eating out in Merchant City/Gallowgate. Hotel had fun decor with nod to Glasgow. Welcoming entry & friendly staff. Room was decent size, compact but still had room to move. Bed & pillows were comfortable. Good choice of breakfast options.
Temperature controlled room. Was 21.5 degrees on the thermostat & opening window barely made a difference even on cool spring evening.

There was a house gin cocktail on arrival, which was an unexpected nice touch. It was a modern, clean place with a chilled out mood with table football, pool table and board games available for the kids. Definitely a more exciting place to stay with kids than the usual 'formal' hotels. The car park was a short walk away also which was ideal.
The shower was broken but maybe it happened just before we visited and staff were not aware. The bathroom door slider was also broken. We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the car park, with electric charging. This has little to do with Moxy but worth noting for other electric car drivers. The charging bays were on the 2nd basement level and I could not get any mobile signal. So it was a matter of running upstairs and then down to check it all was fine. But at 40p / kwh for slow charging you may want to consider other options.

We had a two-night stay and it was very good. Hotel is in a good location a little bit east of the city centre - ideal for a gig at the Barrowlands which is why we were in Glasgow. Staff were friendly and check in was efficient. The lobby/bar area on the ground floor of the hotel is large and pleasant - we enjoyed spending some time there when we had our complimentary drink. The room itself was clean and comfortable with good linens and wash products.
