Nice staff, good location, liked the free coffees, juices etc on hand in the bar/reception area, felt very secure - good activities available like pool table, Jenga etc. and although basic, the snacky type food you could order (pizza, fries etc) was decent and is on hand 24 hours which was useful. Room was well worth the money. Be careful at the NCP carpark who they have a tie in with (which does save you a lot of money) as you will find heroin addicts shooting up on the staircases, needles everywhere and them generally crawling around the place especially at night. This is not the hotels fault and they did get onto NCP as they were horrified. So if you're a lone female for example, I'd forgo the saving on offer and park somewhere else which does not have easy access for the addicts to sneak in like the NCP does.
As stated, the carpark that IBIS are aligned with (NCP) is full of heroin addicts and there are needles everywhere. We had to step over (with my kid) two half naked big fellas on the staircase who were shooting up and surrounded by vomit and needles. Very unsafe. This is not the fault of IBIS however and needs to be dealt with by NCP and the police.

We were very happy with our room layout and cleanliness. The hotel was in a great location and well positioned near George Square and the main shopping streets. The street was quiet and the hotel was well soundproofed to the outside and internally. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well and we were able to cool the room, something we have struggled with in other hotels. The bathroom was very clean and well laid out.
We really had little to complain about but the breakfast that we paid £25 for two was rather lacking in inspiration and some items were inedible. The quality of the ingredients didn't warrant this charge. The dining area was well designed, nicely laid out and very clean. We were quite disappointed in the pre-cooked breakfast offered.

Location - perfect, very central, a few minutes walk from main railway station, bars, restaurants and shopping Staff - excellent, very friendly, professional and courteous Room - very clean, modern, comfortable bed, toiletries provided. Shower fine, but not very powerful Facilities - great bar and restaurant are, pool table available for guests, decent music in the background Breakfast - good choice of continental with cheese, ham, pastries, jams etc. hot food a bit disappointing as had to wait for hot plates to be replenished which took a while and still wasn’t very hot
Breakfast - hot food wasn’t hot and took ages to be replenished.

Great location, good sized room and free coffee machines to use in reception. Very quiet despite location and black out curtains made it super dark. Easy to use temp Controls and plenty tea and coffee in the room as well as the machines downstairs. Love the decor of Duke of Wellington etc and the staff were super friendly and very helpful. I am deaf and was provided with a flash alarm, which a lot of hotels do not have, and a risk assessment with a member of staff to check if I needed any assistance while staying. Super impressed with that as a disabled traveller and made me feel safe during my stay. Way more than most hotels do and why I will definitely be staying again.
Disappointed in the breakfast after reading reviews, hot food wasn’t nice and the mushrooms were absolutely covered in pepper so couldn’t eat them as so strong.

This hotel offers excellent value for money. It is nothing special, but is perfectly adequate, and offers things I haven't found elsewhere when we usuallypay much more. For example, the coffee machines are free all day not just at breakfast, the pool table is free and you get a voucher for a free drink if you don't have housekeeping on the second day (we did 2 nights). All nice touches. Room was basic but comfortable and clean. Everything we needed. Toiletries were nice and the shower good. Not much of a view from the window, though wasn't expecting this in a built up area. The breakfast was lovely and the staff friendly. An excellent location. Felt safe. Would I stay here again? Absolutely 💯

- adequate sized room - sound insulated windows, walls and fire door to room - pleasant and clean lines of room - central location of the hotel - access to free hot drinks and water bubble on 1st floor - ironing board and iron placed in wardrobe without having to ask at Reception
- lack of access to fresh air as windows were glued into frames (we were on the 8th floor, so this was probably due to health and safety) - very poor water pressure in shower so could not wash my hair; showering was also not as effective as it should be - poor fan extraction quality - poor picture quality of TV - large mirror in bathroom was blocked by a picture transfer cone where you would expect to see your reflection (this was put on back to front!) - very high wash basin that should be much lower - had to stand on tip toes to reduce splashback to front of body - no hooks in bedroom

Room and bathroom were clean. Room felt spacious with a space to sit/work, room to plop down my suitcase, and navigate easily. Bathroom had a large counter to put toiletries. Bed was comfortable. If you stay 2+ nights and don't request housekeeping services, the hotel offers you a complimentary drink. That was a pleasant surprise. Wifi worked well, which was good because in my room cell service wasn't strong. Hotel rooms are only accessible with a key card, so no random people are able to access the floors. Hotel is very conveniently located, in City Centre area, close to a lot of great dining options as well.
No complaints. Cell service wasn't strong in my room, but wifi worked fine; so it didn't feel like a big issue.

Absolutely loved the location and the general vibe of the hotel. The staff were so friendly, they went above and beyond to make our stay as amazing as possible. It was in a great location, right next to great restaurants and bars and was in close walking distance to the station. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely be returning soon!
Only room for improvement was the pillows, these were really hard and not that comfortable. But other than that, the beds and duvet were really comfortable.

room, location, bed, shower, connectivity, lighting, temperature control. These were all great and I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Although I was on a leisure trip I had to work in the morning after breakfast in my room and that was easy to do.
Breakfast was fine but could have been a bit more 'user friendly'. The easy-cook porridge pots didn't work well with the hot water dispenser in the coffee machine - not hot enough maybe or maybe I 'over-filled' my pot?! And it was hard to find things like sugar, honey and jam. They were all there, to be fair, but they were in weird dispensers which weren't easily recognizable. My room's window looked out to other rooms around a small square 'well' so it was gloomy and you had to keep the curtain closed for privacy. But at the price, it's hard to complain.

The staff here are really fantastic. My partner and I got married over the road at the city chambers and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our room was upgraded, we were giving complementary drinks and a card, tunnox teacakes and irn bru were waiting for us in our room. This was lovely as I'm a glaswegian living in England so the Scottish touches were really appreciated. They had also allowed our family members to drop off present which they took up to our room. Couldn't fault the room or the service. Will definitely be back and can't recommend them enough!
