Complimentary bad and lounge
Lounge lighting was too bright and no outside view to speak of despite the seventh floor location - advertised views over the city were in the restaurant

The room was well appointed and the bed was the largest we had in our 3 hotels in Scotland. The tube was a bather's dream and for an older guest offered an easy way to have a long relaxing bath. The hotel is just down the street from Queen Street Station and a 15 minute walk from the Central Station and is ideally situated for strolls around the city. Staff was very helpful with directions and the restaurant on the 7th floor has a wonderful view of the city. We had lunch there when we arrived in mid afternoon and breakfast the next morning. Both were very good.
I don't have anything negative to say about the hotel.

The location near the station was perfect for us. We thought the room was very good. The shower-room was really smart and welcoming. We loved the soaps provided and plan to order some for ourselves. The room was spacious and the large bed was very comfortable. We thought the complementary mini bar was a generous provision at the price. In short, we enjoyed our brief stay very much and would certainly stay again when back in Glasgow.
There was nothing we would complain about at this price level. We thought we got better than value for our money with a good location, an excellent restaurant on the roof and all that we needed for our visit.

hotel is brilliant. but the windows restaurant was terrible we booked there for our anniversary meal . soup was cold the waiter took it away and told chef making fresh but it came back with fresh garnish on soup but the garnish i had took off earlier was on side of plate( microwave) my husband ordered a steak medium when it came presentation was horrible and blood pouring from it and my chicken was so dry. we returned both meals finished our wine and paid for our wine only ( the best part of our meal) then the waiter admitted it was an agency chef they had says it all. the hotel is really lovely so dont be put off it JUST dont use the restaurant.
restaurant as above

You couldn't ask for a better location in Glasgow. The airport express bus will drop you off half a block away, and the Queen Street rail station is very close (although this didn't present any noise or traffic problems). Using ScotRail's immaculate, on-time trains was a highlight of my trip, so I could easily get to Loch Lomond, Edinburgh, etc., then back in the evening and be just steps from my lodging. There are dozens of excellent restaurants nearby. The grocery has lots of ready-made food, pasteries, and produce. You're near an indoor mall with Boots and other conveniences. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, and hotel services are xlnt so your room will be clean and well stocked. Free mini bar at this hotel means they offer decanters of vodka, gin, and whiskey and a fridge with sparkling water, tonic, soda, and beer. Scots appear to be rather serious drinkers. I had their most basic room, but for a bit more you can have access to their 7th floor lounge with its 'executive' benefits, which are described on their website. The only suggestion I have is this: if you have back issues and need a firm mattress, talk to the hotel. My bed was a bit older. I can sleep anywhere, but I know some folks are fussier than me. I would choose this place again if I returned to Glasgow.

Great central location. Subway station to the right and train to the left was perfect for getting around Glasgow. Team were friendly. Housekeeping was brilliant, had room tidied and topped up everyday. Mini bar was great. Bed was really comfortable. Good heating in room.
On the last night there was a room opposite us that unfortunately were shouting until early hours of the morning which kept us up as they were shouting in the hallway and you could hear them when they were in the room too. But the other nights we had no issues.

The location is great for people arriving by train or bus, staff are always polite and helpful. I also think the booking of lounge access could be changed but I appreciate some people could abuse this. I do think rooms are a bit outdated.
These rooms are getting dated as I have been returning to the hotel for many years and the decor hasn’t been updated and you have taken some feature in the room away. ie the throws and cushions on the beds and toiletries are scarce, no shower caps. The rooms could do with a walk in shower for people who can’t climb into a bath, and grubby carpet on the stairs.

The location is perfect for central Glasgow, short walk from bus station and so close to train station. We were welcomed by the lovely Amy who was so helpful. The room was a really good size and so well equipped. Decent shower and good size bath. A safe in the room is always handy. Mini bar was way better than expected. We will definitely return to this hotel again. All staff very nice and cheerful.Hotel is very clean and well decorated.Next time will book the lounge. All in all our two day stay was great.

A fabulous central location close to Buchanan Street and George Square. The AirPort Express bus is on the parallel street which was very convenient. The staff were friendly and informative. Breakfast had a wide variety of food including the option to order in addition to the buffet selection. The view from the restaurant was of the stunning roads and rooftops of the city centre! Waxy O’Connor’s pub was right next door which was a nice way to end each night.
All was good.

It was in a fabulous location. Very central. Our room was a good size. Well appointed. There was a fan in the room which was useful. There was also a very good hairdryer and a pair of straighteners. Club room so free mini bar. This wasn't fully stocked when we first arrived (first impression was that it was poor) but had been stocked when we came back a little later. Huge bed. The club lounge was a nice touch and the drinks / snacks were good. Attached to a good pub. The restaurant on floor 7 was bright and airy for breakfast and the buffet was superb.
The bed was a little firm for my liking and the duvet was very heavy, making for a hot nights sleep. The furniture was a quite old fashioned and in need of a bit of TLC (there was a standard lamp that fell over of its own accord) although this was a minor consideration. The shower, although powerful, could have been done with an updated shower head.
