I had a surprising and disappointing experience. Two days after checking out, I received a call from the hotel, inquiring about their body lotion. Apparently, the cleaner reported it missing. What's astonishing is that they never provided body lotion in the first place. Given the $250 nightly rate, it's absurd to think I'd take something as trivial as body lotion. Why not accuse me of taking the bathing robe or towels instead? The call left a sour taste, and I'm still shocked by their audacity."

The Haram in Madinah is virtually a few steps away and the Green Dome and is clearly visible from the window unobstructed. It’s a great feeling to be there. The staff is simply great and they take care of the guests like their own family, especially Emran who was managing our floor. Additional to the Haram, Masjid Ghamama, Masjid Ali Bin Abi Talib and various important landmarks are within a short walking distance. The room is well designed so that Upto 4 persons can stay comfortably and also perform their Ihram and Salah prior to embarking for Hajj or Umrah to Makkah. Very well thought layout.

Please try and book in their Tower 1 as it has a more better view and access to the Haram. Also the breakfast facility is located in that tower. So if you are accommodated in Tower 2 you need to make the walk each morning.

I had a wonderful stay at Rotana Hotel in Medina. The location is outstanding—just a 2-minute walk to the Haram, which made attending prayers incredibly convenient. The food was excellent, offering a great variety and quality. What truly made the stay memorable, though, was the staff. Everyone was courteous and attentive, always making sure guests felt welcome and comfortable. Special thanks to Abdelhalim (cleaner) and Riyadh (porter) who stood out with their eagerness to help. Riyadh, in particular, went the extra mile by arranging a taxi for me and even negotiating a cheaper fare—truly appreciated! I highly recommend Rotana to anyone visiting Medina for worship and relaxation. You’ll feel well taken care of and close to everything that matters.

The proximity of the food stalls and shopping precincts are on the other side of the mosque but not a big deal if you can handle a short walk

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Al Manakha Rotana Madinah, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm and friendly smiles from the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was quickly shown to my beautifully appointed room. The room itself was impeccably clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's restaurant. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. The breakfast buffet was a particular standout, offering a wonderful selection of both local and international dishes. Al Manakha Rotana Madinah's location is also ideal, situated in a convenient area that makes it easy to access Masjid An-Nabawi. I highly recommend Al Manakha Rotana Madinah to anyone visiting Madinah Al Munawarah. It offers an exceptional experience that combines comfort, convenience, and outstanding service. I look forward to returning in the future!

Fantastic location, 2 min walk to gate 310 (also the zamzam refill station for the public), excellent supermarket in the basement, Taiba mall in the next building, taxis, buses etc for visiting historical sites right outside the hotel. Several food places few metres away including western brands - KFC etc. Moreover, it's one of the few hotels with greenery outside which is excellent and nice to go for a walk. Can see Haram from the hotel and breakfast floor. Staff are helpful and breakfast is great as well. Large rooms are very comfortable and homely. Would book again

Lift can be temperamental. Select 4th floor and you may end up going up to the 12th then back down to 4th. Was told it does this to recalibrate, annoyingly. Breakfast has a large variety but can get repetitive if staying for several days. I would like options to change during the week. Other hotels do this Bathroom is not the biggest.

New furniture, decorations, everything clean,more than enough elevators, huge free parking, welcoming attitude from all staff Spacaily front desk team "Hanan, Bayan, Khaled" and Meshaal from house keeping and security man.. really I'm sutsfie d and appreciated what they presented to me Spacail thanks to Hanan she gave me a free upgrade room to have Haram view as per my request and it was the start to extend my stay with Rotana Al Manakha

The refrigerator was very awake and didn't give any cooling and it was small The maintenance team tried to solve this problem by changing it and presented one more refrigerator

Clean, New furniture, Near to Haram

1- They’re not flexible at all as after check-in we found that the hotel near to Haram but far away from Ladies prayer area, we asked if we can check-out and reserve a new hotel but they refused. 2- Unfortunately, they are very, very stingy with tea, sugar, coffee and water. Every time you ask for tea or sugar, they give you two tea bags, and when you ask for water, they give you two or three small bottles for 2 persons!! 3- We had an issue that every time we’re using the elevator we feel like electric shock. 4- if you need the gym, you to go to another building floor 12

Location was great for my family. Short walk to gate 310 so close to museum and the green dome. Plenty of food places nearby and supermarket next door. It was great to see a combust fire alarm system with sprinkers in the room. The room was immaculate and maintained daily by housekeepers. Breakfast selection was great and fresh. Got provided with bottled water daily, fresh sheets if they got stained and staff were friendly. Beds were very comfortable and pillows were very nice. Needed card access to lifts which was great security.

There was roadworks outside but we was up early anyway. We could hear our neighbours too but it didn't bother us.
