Location is close to all the action in Osaka. Rooms are a good size and well appointed. Amenities available in reception area to reduce waste. Directly across the road from hotel is the nightlife area of restaurants and clubs. Breakfast options outside hotel are few so recommend you book with breakfast included.

Great location on major shopping street and near Dotombori for eating at night. Despite that, was quiet in room. Facilities excellent, staff very helpful, decent breakfast with Japanese and Western options. Beds comfortable. Wifi worked well

The Cross Hotel was the best value hotel during our three week Japan trip. It is located adjacent to Dotonbori, the heart of Osaka and easy walking. Perfect location to transport at Namba Station giving you easy access to Nara and Kyoto. Really enjoyed our stay at the Cross Hotel.

The breakfast was amazing. A combination of European and Japanese food which was amazing. Everything was freshly cooked. We had a triple room which was the perfect size for us 3 adults, however, as is standard in a lot of Japanese rooms, we just about managed to keep our luggage out of the way so we could comfortably walk around. The pyjamas and slippers provided were very comfy. The rooms were cleaned as requested, however, the housekeepers caused some damage to my daughters shoes. The kind lady on reception listened to our concern and couldn't be more apologetic, but there was nothing that could be done really. She came to find us the next day and offered my daughter a few Osaka goodies. The location was ideal for travelling via trains and exploring Dotonbori and Namba on foot.

Our room was at the front of the hotel and was noisy at night, especially people revving their bikes really loudly. I know it's in a busy area but was hoping that there would be atleast a little soundproofing, which it didn't feel like there was. I'm a heavy sleeper, my husband isn't. He wore earplugs to sleep and said it helped.

Breakfast is very good but no variety . It is always the same every day except for the soup that changes every day

Our room was lovely and quiet, the beds were super comfy. Amazing location, next to all the action on the Dotonburi river. This was our second stay at the hotel and its the only place we will in Osaka now.

Location is very good, very convenient. Highly recommended for people who love shopping. The bath room also big enough ( by compared to the room size) . All the staffs there are very kind , and pretty! Another surprise is they serve steak in the buffet breakfast!

Due to the convenience of its location (just next to the main road), it is quite noisy at night, eg after 10PM. But this is expected..

Cross Hotel Osaka is in a great location in central Osaka. It’s beside the Ebisubashi Bridge and very close to the tourist magnet of Dotonbori. The closest Metro station is Namba. The best exit for the hotel is 15B through the Namba HIP building, which has escalators to the ground floor. The closer exit 14 is all stairs and no good with suitcases. Hotel rooms are minimalist Scandi functional, and by Japanese standards a good size. They are, of course, clean. The bathroom is kitted out in Onsen style, with a “wet room”, including a bath and shower without a shower curtain.

A couple of downers. There’s no in-hotel laundry room, making guests reliant on the hotel laundry service, and no way to hang wet socks and “smalls”. The strictly enforced mealtimes didn’t make the buffet breakfast a value option for later risers. It all ends at 10 am, but there are plenty of nearby coffee shops offering a good value starter.

Second time staying here, we paid a little more for a room with club lounge access and breakfast. Great location, so close to Dotonbori, tons of shops and restaurants, and a short walk to Namba where we caught the airport bus. Pretty good breakfast selection and having access to the lounge was good. Stored our luggage there until the evening.

It's a very busy hotel and the checkin feels a little hectic. You have to take your own toiletries before heading to your room. The decor is a little weird, a lot of black and red, which I didn't love, but willing to overlook for convenience and price.

Fantastic location with buzzing Dotonburi just a minute's walk away, and all the high end luxury brand stores at the other end of the avenue (Daimaru is about 8 buildings away). Breakfast buffet had a good selection; however, an egg station with choice of egg preparation would have been appreciated. The Club Lounge had a good selection of appetizers, but it was the same very day with no change. The Reception staff were very polite, friendly and helpful

We had the Presidential Suite, with lots of room, but the layout could have been better designed; the living room space was cramped cramped, and we had difficulty moving the the heavy furniture. Foreign guests should be shown how to use the light switches and TV remotes and other unfamiliar features. We could not get English language TV channels, and when we inquired we were told there wasn't any available (even BBC and CNN were in Japanese). But just by accident towards the end of our stay we discovered that we could also get the English versions by pressing some button. Staff should be able to assist with such guest inquiries.
