It’s within easy walking distance of Kyoto Station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city, catching trains to other destinations, or accessing local transport. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, the proximity to Kyoto Station makes traveling effortless. Additionally, one of the standout features is the 7/11 built into the adjoining hotel. This was a huge convenience, providing everything from snacks and drinks to quick meals and essentials—perfect for grabbing something on the go or winding down in the evening with a cold drink. The rooms were exceptionally well-maintained and cleaned daily to a high standard. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after a long day of sightseeing. The inclusion of a humidifier in the room was a thoughtful touch, especially considering Kyoto’s varying climate. Everything was designed with guest comfort in mind, from the cozy atmosphere to the practical amenities. The hotel’s lobby is beautifully designed, creating a welcoming first impression as soon as you step inside. Absolutely nothing! It’s perfect

Location, just across the road from the station was excellent. Once inside the hotel it was calm and quiet. Despite being a very busy hotel there was little waiting time for a lift so we weren't playing sardines with our wheelchair. The in-room TV displayed both the status of the self-serve laundry facilities which were on three floors as well as how crowded the breakfast room was. There were plenty of power outlets / USB ports and the wi-fi was excellent as my daughter had to do some remote working. Breakfast selection and quantity were very good.

It's a very busy hotel and the breakfast room gets crowded. It may be worth looking to see if the layout of the food can be streamlined a bit, the queue for the coffee machine got in the way of other guests. Possibly additional one(s) would help.

It was such a fantastic location, 2mins walk from Kyoto station so getting trains and buses to all the main attractions was easy. Close to lots of great restaurants around the area and the Aeon Mall for shops. The breakfast (that we paid for with the room) was amazing! It had so many options for Western and Japanese breakfast foods and the ladies who welcomed you in every morning were so lovely and friendly, they made our day!

It wasn’t the property’s fault but we just happened to be right next to a very loud family, lots of banging on the walls and kids crying at 11pm. So without that, would have been a perfect stay.

Superior location. It is right across the Kyoto Station, thus, you get excellent access to public transportation including the bullet train. There is a nice 7-eleven just on the ground floor of the hotel. Perfect to grab everything you need including delicious meals when you are super tired from your tours. The location is unbeatable. The rooms are also lovely and fairly large for the price.

Service is just okay compared to other 3-star hotels we've tried. They always made us come down to the reception for everything we requested (example: ironing board) instead of delivering to our room. Housekeeping cleanliness can also be improved.

+ Good location. If you arrive by Shinkansen, you're pretty much halfway there. If you go to the elevator in the middle (if, like me, you had heavy luggage), you're set for the best exit. If you need to use JR lines, the Shinkansen or want to go to Nara, it's all close. You're also close to the metro, the other train lines are farther away though. + Room size. Probably the biggest room I stayed in Japan, best bathroom for sure. Good access for anything in the bathroom even if you have mobility issues. + Desk and outlets for your devices were convenient, plus there was a little couch with a small table. Enough space to open the suitcase too, no matter what size. +Direct access to a 7-Eleven on the ground floor. A big Aeon Mall is fairly close too if you want something different than a convenience store meal.

- A bit heavy on the mirrors in the bathroom, but that's a minor thing. - The pillows are super hard, but you get used to it. - Don't forget the extra fee! I had forgotten that there's an added cost to staying there. For me it was 3000 yen (500 yen per night, it's a bit lower if you stay less than 5 days I believe).

The location was excellent - less than 5 min walk to Kyoto station There is shopping mall near by also less than 5 min walk - small Don Quixote, GU, and others The staff was excellent - they have facilities for storing/locking your luggage if you arrive before checkin time or if you are still in city after checkout. In the lobby they have area where you can take any extra room amenities you might need (tea, bathroom items, etc.) Also, when you don't have your room cleaned for the day - they still leave you a bag of clean towels hanging on the doorknob - that was a nice touch. The comforters were excellent on the bad - my wife and mother in law enjoyed them very much. There is a 7-11 attached to the hotel - they have their own entrance into the 7-11. You don't even have to go outside hotel to get there - that was cool. They have multiple floors with laundry facilities (washer/dryer combo, not separate machines) - I like these very much b/c you put in a PIN code to lock the washer/dryer so no one can touch your clothes until you unlock it.

My parents and I were all very surprised at how big the hotel room is, as most of the hotels in Japan are very small, especially the hotel is at Kyoto center area. It is very spacious and allow us to lay out suitcases flat and widely opened on the ground. It is quite short distance of walk to JR station and Subway/Metro. There is a 7-11 convenient store connect to hotel, and a small shopping mall within 5 min walk from hotel (there is Donki and restaurants there).

The hotel lobby and the 7-11 is always busy, but that make sense as the hotel probably quite popular given it is under JR West group.

Excellent location being a few hundred metres away from Kyoto Station, making it easy to reach the Shinkansen as well as for basing yourself for day trips around. The room was suitably sized for Japanese standards, with a bidet toilet and shower bathtub combo. Being close to the main transport hub, it was surprisingly quiet in the room. All amenities are collected from the ground floor which you can always restock if needed. The TV is also chromecast enabled which is awesome.

The bed came with only one pillow during my stay, but otherwise can be manageable. The bed is also firm if you don't mind that.

The room is spacious, with a good city view and daylight. You could open the window to let the breeze in when weather is good or when you wanna know what s the temperature outdoor. I particularly like the toilet /bathroom design, with the bathtub, WC and basin area with individual doors , it allows family members using the facilities concurrently with privacy. The location is superb, I could reach the Kyoto station and its associated shops and restaurants within 5 min. walk. There is a convenient store 7-11 with a rear door directly connected to the hotel, you buy get all things you need even in a rainy day without getting wet.
