Loved EVERYTHING! One of the THE best hotels i've stayed in (and ive traveled 70+ countries!) due to the amenities. The staff was incredible and super helpful. Could not get enough of the coffee station, free drink daily, live music, fire pits, coffee station, onsen, massage chairs again, etc etc. We arrived close to midnight after a long day in transit when it was raining. Easy, relaxing airport bus from KIX airport. Wish we thought to try the onsen! The other days we did the onsen, it was the BEST way to wind down after lots of walking. And then the massage chair after - golden combo! The balconies in each room really made the place feel spacious and a touch of luxury to have in Japan. 1000% recommend! Safe neighborhood, great cafes nearby (Kurasu Kyoto Stand is brilliant!), Don Quijote nearby too, as well as AEON mall + supermarket. A block from kyoto station which is incredibly convenient too! Kyoto tower is just on the other side with great views, and brilliant food on the food floor too!

Location: Very convenient location as it's right next to Kyoto station. You'll be able access Kyoto very easily from here. Stay: Very spacious room. Nice balcony area to sit and relax. Photos give an accurate representation on the size. Laundry was free. They offered free drink service at night (alcohol and non-alcohol) at the restaurant on the ground floor. The vibes were amazing here, live music playing in the restaurant and relaxing in the lounge by the firepit was awesome. Quite enjoyed the different varieties of coffee beans that you can grind and drip brew. Breakfast was excellent and fresh, seems a lot of the food was made in house, with a mix of different options available, seating can be limited so make sure you leave enough time.

I found the pillow to be a bit thin, would love to get one with bit more volume.

We loved everything! Location, rooms, sauna, shared space, massage chairs and ambience. And the breakfast was the best in my life! Arigato gozaimasu.

A very convenient location. The breakfast is a bit pricy but they deliver great quality breakfast. I also love the onsen and that it caters until 1am, especially for those who just came back late from sightseeing and bar hopping around the city, to be able to relax after all the hustle and bustle of a day is the best! Bed, pillows were comfortable and the room was clean! Make sure to stay here everytime you come to Kyoto, 'cause for sure, we will!

We couldn't find any socket near the bed area, and we had to leave our phones near the television which is like the only visible socket in the room. It would've been better if there were near the bed area as we are always using our phones.

• We liked that the location was very convenient. • This is also one of the bigger rooms that we've stayed in. The space was a wonderful surprise. • The daily cleaning was very much appreciated. • The daily free coffee and 1 welcome drink was an added bonus (the coffee was good!)

• The lighting in the room was bad. Half the time we had to use our phone's flashlight to read things. • There was also no separate on/off for side lamps. If you want to read and your partner wants to sleep, too bad. • The wifi was extremely spotty, we ended up using our own data in the end :( • We asked the staff to help us book a place for dinner before we went out in the morning, and it seems like the AM and PM staff do not communicate. We had to repeat the instruction again when we checked at night to see whether it was done. It was not :(

Everything was great! Very good location, next to the station, but very calm and quiet. Breakfast was the best we had in our 3-week trip in Japan. Rooms are quite spacious compared to the average. The Onsen (SPA) was so relaxing after the day of exploring Kyoto. It's separate for men and women and is located in the building right next to the hotel. You do need to go through outside but there are slippers provided and umbrellas in case it rains outside. The Onsen has everything you need - from shampoos/conditioners to hair combs, make-up removals, etc. This hotel really thought about everything. :) I will certainly stay here again if I'm in the area next time.

The proximity to the train station is a big plus. The train station itself is connected to a mall with many shops. The breakfast was very good and outdoor common spaces are nice.

We booked a standard double room which was small and poorly designed. There is a step down in the middle of the room that separates the bedroom and living spaces. That forces the bed to be up against a wall. There was no closet and only 4 hangers on a rod on the wall. Ironically, the room had a huge balcony that was not needed. The hotel does offer larger rooms and I wish I had chosen one.

Everything was perfect! The staff was amicable and always helpful, the room was tidy and clean and the bed was beyond comfortable. The hotel has two buildings right next to each other and they were both so beautiful and cozy. The extra free drinks were a bonus. The bath was incredible! The free pijamas were so comfortable I ended up buying one for myself. And the location? You couldn't have asked for a better place. Right next a 711 and a few minutes walk from the central station. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It was without a shadow of doubt the best hotel stay of my life. I will be coming back next year!

We chose this hotel primarily for the location. Weather forecast was cold and rainy and we wanted something close to the train station for sightseeing purposes. This did not disappoint. Room was nice and had a balcony, which I think we would have enjoyed, had it not been cold and rainy. The room opens to open air, not closed in, which we hadn't expected - on the positive, it enabled us to make sure we were dressed for the weather each day. The lobby area was quite nice - it is open air - bc cold and rainy, it was a nice touch that they had a couple of heaters and they also had blankets available. We opted to eat dinner at the hotel and it was very good! Complimentary drink each night was nice. There was also a tea and beverage station available. The massage chairs in the other building were amazing - but if you are tall, they probably wouldn't work for you. I am 5'6" and they were perfect for me! We didn't use the gym or laundry, but I included photos - also located in other building. Beds were comfortable.

Outlet locations not ideal, I had to climb under the bed to plug in my devices or put them on a table across the room. The area entering the room was very narrow, which made it difficult for me and my 6'2" husband to take off and put on our shoes when entering and exiting the room.
