Great value for money. Room size was great, bathroom and coffee facilities were perfect. Everything available was amazing, kids soft play, outdoor pirate park, cinema.

I know we were in a dog room, but f me that stank of dog. Our dog doesn't stink, he doesn't malt, but it was so unfortunate the stink in the room. Service for dinner was a bit poor, had to keep asking for someone to take our order, but I guess that's the negative about having a dog and sitting by reception, ppl forget about you

Beautiful hotel located right a lot fistral beach. We had a sea view room which was the most beautiful way to wake up. The hotel is about 30 min walk from the train station and is it just one straight line therefore it was easy to locate for people who don’t drive. The staff were so lovely and more than accommodating. We attended for my partners 30th birthday to which the staff were delightful. When we arrive in the room they’re were balloons and a voucher for a free drink.

One fault we noticed with the room was that we were located right next to the stairwell to which we had one night where we weren’t able to get a perfect night sleep due to the noise volume of other guests coming to and from their rooms and also from the lobby.

The view was amazing, the location is perfect. Not too far from the town center, on the doorstep of the beach, next door to a surf club. The room was very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We travelled there for a get-away for my daughters 13th, she was greeted with a balloon and card with well wishes, they helped me with ordering a cake (cakes by chloe) lovely by the way. They presented it to her and sung happy birthday. I traveled with my 3 year old too who loved the play areas, he got a goodie bag on arrival. They had entertainment too, in the form of Harry kazzam whilst we were there. We used their cinema room, though abit hesitant as it has a slight wet/musky smell; this could be due to its close proximity of it to the pool, lack of ventilation or perhaps visitors using it straight from being in water and seats getting wet. I'm not sure. All in all, we had a lovely stay there and would definitely recommend and stay again. Oh, food was great and the locals are lovely too! No complaints

There was nearly too much storage for the shape and size of the bedroom. If you removed the chest of drawers you still would have had lots of storage and the mini fridge could have gone there instead!! Imagine too much storage is the only slight downside....

I liked a lot of things. 1) the location of the hotel and the beauty around it. 2) the staff is very polite. 3) there is a children's corner with different children's games, the playground is a big plus. 4) sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool. 5) there is a laundry, washing machine and dryer, plus an ironing board and iron, and all this is free. 6) in the evening you can relax on the first floor with a view of the sea, it's wonderful. 7) every day there are different entertainments for children. 8) for the pool they give robes and slippers.

What I didn't like were the pillows and beds. The pillows were catastrophically uncomfortable and needed to be changed urgently. The beds were uncomfortable. Maybe some people like to sleep on hard beds, but not me. We were with 2 small children and they gave us a bunk bed. My children had never slept on one and it was a problem for us because we didn't know how to fit them in and who would lie where. We had to put our daughter on top and worry all night that she wouldn't fall out. If you come for one or two nights, you won't feel it, but we came for 5 nights and it was very painful.

Comfortable room and spotless bathroom, plentiful complimentary toiletries, lovely white fluffy towels and bathrobes, hairdryer Tea, coffee, biscuit tray and water in room really appreciated Facilities for children amazing, great little cinema, tennis court, table tennis, pool table, milk and biscuit at bedtime, indoor pool. lovely cocktail bar with outdoor seating. Amazing views from front of hotel, relaxed. If you have walking difficulties advise hotel as a room nearer to facilities would be more useful.

Bathroom could do with improvements….needs soft close toilet seat, flush pressure not great, mixer taps in bath and sink would be better, door didn’t close tight Room safe needs to be available in each room Also would help if menus available in room giving an idea of times served and where available. Snacks in cocktail bar would be great, not sure if these were available, more info needed.

Fabulous location within minutes of walking onto Fistral beach. The views were stunning from sea view room. Very accommodating for pets, water bowls in the lobby and a lovely pack for our dog in the dog friendly room. Breakfast was good choice on the menu and continental buffet. we didn't eat here in the evening. The sun terrace looking onto FIstral beach is the perfect place to have a break from the sun and watch the sea. Sauna fabulous, nice size pool and good jacuzzi ( see pool notes below), small cinema available, 20 min walk to the harbour where there is a Pizza oven and other small pop up restaurants - had amazing fish and chips here, 15 min walk to Lewennick Lodge where we had drinks and dinner one evening, access to the Pentire Headland for walking and right around to the bay the otherside. We stayed in the area for 3 nights and did two very long coastal path walks, body boarded and hired a surfboard on the beach where all the restaurants are. Visited the Headland hotel for sundowners - great stay in a great area.

The swimming pool floor tiles need a good scrub they were slimy underfoot. We know how pools should be maintained which is why we mention it. The pool area would benefit from some sun loungers or more seating to elevate the area as there was hardly anywhere to sit. More hooks on the wall for people to hang towels etc.. Jacuzzi was very hot but effective. Just check you register your car for parking to avoid a ticket in the hotel car park.

Staff were great, beds were comfy, bathroom amenities were great, pre booked parking which was easy and convenient, very family friendly.

Breakfast was a bit lacking, on both days a number of the group ordered eggs Benedict where the eggs were hard boiled Pool was a bit murky and the tiles needed a scrub. The hot tub chlorine stung our eyes.

We had 3 nights at the Esplanade and took our dog Cooper. We were so surprised to find in the room when we arrived, a provided dog bed, nice dog bowl, and a little welcome pack with some treats, a little toy, and a couple of poo bags. The room was extremely spacious, a little hot at times, but a fan was provided. The food was excellent, one evening we had an evening meal at the hotel (we were bed-and-breakfast). We did try evening meals at other locations but the hotels was by far the best. Reception was spacious and relaxing, if you came as a family plenty for you to do in the hotel as well. Games room, cinema, lovely pool indoors, great attention to detail everywhere.

Location is gorgeous!!! What a fab beach, I only needed a bed for the night as was travelling out again early the next day, the hotel was clean and you can tell there are lots for guests to experience. bits for kids in reception, indoor pool, live music in the bar however I didn't stay long enough to enjoy. My room was clean, bed was comfy, shower was hot and I was very grateful for the very nice complimentary Shampoo, Conditioner and Body wash in my bathroom. I also LOVED that I could skip across the road and be on the beach, Having been in the Car for most of the day, walking along that beach and watching the sun set was magical. I had a car and parked on the street with no restrictions but imagine during peak times this is near impossible to do.

There was no view from my room as it was at the back and tucked in a corner so could just see another wall of the hotel.
