This is a very affordable room for Central London, especially for being just a ten minute walk from The British Museum, Russell Square, and Euston Station. The area is quiet and well-shaded with little traffic. The room is simple yet comfortable, and the breakfast downstairs each morning was very generous. The staff were very nice, and the building is both secure and easy to access at all hours of the day.

The bathrooms are shared, meaning that every section of hallway (about a half dozen rooms) had a public facility with showers and toilet rooms; this area could get a little stinky at times. The layout of the building can be a bit confusing initially, and there's no lift service to the third floor.

The Halls are just a short stroll away from Russell Square and Euston Stations. All airport are therewith easily reachable. Even though centrally located, the street is quiet. This is a 3 Storey building, with lift access to the lower two floors. The reception is manned 24/7. The staff is very polite and has been very helpful. The access to the facilities/room is via key card. The shared facilities are clean and well maintained. In the room is a sink, and a piece of soap. A sample size shampoo/ shower gel are complimentary. Linen and towels are provided. Breakfast is included, and a good variety is available. The breakfast room is located at the lower floor of the main building. There is a lovely garden and in one of the annexes, there is laundry room with new washers/dryers and an ironing board, which operated 24/7. The wash can be paid for with credit card. In walking distance of the halls are a few supermarkets, a variety of pubs and restaurants.

One has to be aware that this is a dorm. Although much better maintained than most other halls, the space in the room is restricted. Never leave the room without the access key, otherwise you are locked out.

The staff at reception was very helpfull and so so kind! We could leave our bags on arrival/after check-out without any issue. On the lower level the is a play room, with all kind of entertaiment. Located near to St.Pancras train station.

The staff at breakfast..kinda rude, and not wellcoming. I wasn’t told that I could not return to the counter where the eggs, sausages etc. were, and since I didn’t knew this, I was told that “you were here like 3 times, can’t do that..” I returned two times, yes, but to get cutlery and some butter, because I didn’t find it at first. And also to wanted to take some waffles, because I wasn’t deciced to get it or not. But the lady over there, she came right away straight to me, telling me I cannot do that. That wasn’t so nice. You can tell a persons politely or notify in advance, that I can choose the food one time and cannot return for repeat.

Clean, with well lit corridors. Breakfast very good, with a "Full English Breakfast " as the basis . Available from 08:00 to 10:00. Plenty of buses, city-bound, available from the eastern side of Tavistock Square.

Tricky to find, for first time, IF arriving after dark, as all the 4 storey blocks in the locality look rather similar, and the entrance is almost discreet ? No lift available to the 3rd floor. Stairs surprisingly steep, for current era usage ? Bag storage useful ( on departure day) but nobody checked the case I selected was actually mine ? ( Different staff, too, when collecting.)

The location is very good. 17 minutes walk to Oxford Street. Euston and Euston Square Station are very close. King's Cross St Pancras Station isn't far either. I liked the 24 hour reception. The card to enter the building and your room was very convenient. The old building was cute, cosy and very british. I liked the tall window in my room and the lovely back yard with string lamps hanging on the trees.

The breakfast was unhealthy. Lots of fried greasy things and no fresh vegetables. No tomato, cucumber or lettuce. I don't know, maybe it wasn't the hotel. Maybe that's how all people eat in England. The sink in my room was blocked. The water went down very slowly. But I guess it happens.

The room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was delicious 😋 it was located 5 minutes from where I needed to be, and close to the tube station, the staff were very helpful and kind. The toilets and showers were very clean, as were the corridors, the bed was comfortable and the bed linen was clean. I had a fan in my room, which was perfect as the room was warm. They provided towels and shampoo, and body wash.

There was no TV in my room, but I knew that before I came and no hairdryer. The curtain had a black stain on it, and the windows didn't open very much.

We stayed at LSE Passfield Hall for 6 nights and were very pleased with the service, amenities and cleanliness. We lived in a block of 4 rooms with a shared shower and toilet. Our room also had a sink and it was very convenient. There was a great English breakfast, muesli, there were fruits, tea and coffee, jams and very tasty croissants they had. After breakfast we remained full for a long time. They also have a kitchen with a refrigerator, kettle and microwave for use, also a tap with drinking water, where we filled our bottles. We checked in around midnight, we were quickly registered and explained what and where. There was only one negative moment - the next morning we discovered that the toilet was clogged, we reported it at the reception and in 10-15 minutes they came to us and fixed everything. Keep in mind that in England there are English sockets and stock up on adapters in advance. LSE Passfield Hall does not provide adapters, you can put your phone on charge at the reception, but only one device. Overall, we were very happy that we chose LSE Passfield Hall - a great location (there are several tube stations nearby - for those who need Luton airport - St Pancras International station is nearby. The beautiful Regent's Park is nearby. We liked the service, the building itself and the courtyard are nice, the beds are comfortable, it is clean and the contingent of residents ranges from young people to young families and very old people. We recommend it to everyone!

Great location with lovely staff! Breakfast was great with big variety for vegans as well but big queue as lots of students are staying there during their school holidays. Clean and small rooms, was okay for me as I was only sleeping and then was away almost all day. Shared Toilets were sometimes dirty but because some people don’t respect the others and don’t clean their mess!! Would recommend it and would stay again!

Breakfast was excellent! lots of options to choose, english breakfast indeed! Location is near the underground station & also from eurostar train station in st pancras int’l as we came from Paris, we just walked going to LSE passfield hall. very convenient for us. I like also that they have a secured room for our luggages as we arrived earlier & when we check out as our train left later in the afternoon.

Some person in the cantine were not accomodating, i dont know if its in my perception only, but anyway i just dont mind it seriously. But try to be friendly to all guests❤️
