Far exceeded our expectations after reading some previous negative reviews, the free continental breakfast was an unexpected bonus

The check in process was very well communicated and easy to understand and we got the keys to our rooms from lockbox. Room was very big and well appointed. Large breakfast room next to front door was easily accessed. It does have a communal fridge (which unfortunately allowed someone to enjoy some of our personal food!). There was a very limited continental breakfast included (if you got up early enough!). Location of property enabled easy bus access to city centre. There was a Tesco express just 8 mins walk from property.

We had an issue with hot water for shower. We found out later that hot water was on a timer and you had just a couple of hours in morning and night to access hot water. We did survive.

Great location between airport and city plus friendly helpful staff

It’s a victorian style house turned in to a unique hostel. They serve breakfast for free, and they have coffee maker in the room. The room is comfortable with very nice view since we happen to stay at the 2nd floor room looking to street and mountains at a distance. Very helpful staff, they gave us a heaps of pastries and bread to take away as breakfast since we have lo leave very early in the morning.

The floor at the second floor made of parquets woods, so when we walk it makes squeaking noises

I loved the size of the bedroom and spacious bathroom. There were loads of wardrobe space to store clothes. There was also a large desk. Plus two chairs and a coffee table - I was in room 1 and loved the view overlooking the garden. I liked that there was a communal fridge, kettle and microwave available in the residents lounge/dining room. The bus service is excellent and the Airport Bus stops just across the road.

I don't think there was anything wrong, it was very reasonably priced so this place more than met my expectations for the price.

Easy to find , close enough to city centre, several attractions and murrayfield stadium. Very clean and comfortable mainly- mattress and pillows super comfortable ( I usually struggle with different pillows, but not these. Both the bedroom/ensuite and all public areas were kept very clean, and, even though not advertised , there was a breakfast of juice , choice of cereals , croissants, jam and hot drinks available which was enough to get you going on a morning, and very welcome.

The bed was problematic in that every time one of us moved the bed ( base on the flooring- we think), made such an awful noise it kept waking us up. Maybe could do with a large rug underneath it , on the flooring.

Location is great. It's on th airlink 100 bus route. 25 min straight, nice walk to the Princes st. Complimentary breakfast was a bonus, it's a lovely gesture. coffee/tea/juice/cereals and packed pastries. Self check in was easy, they sent all the instructions via email. it was clear and easy. The manager and staff are all ready to help. we had a small problem with the radiators and they took care of it immediately. Beds are comfortable. coffee machine and kettle in the room and plenty of tea and coffee. The hotel also has a lovely garden. Overall it was a good value for money.

Everything was expected and the price was very good. It’s 15 mins by bus to the Waverley train station and 4 mins on foot to Tesco. The room was clean and cosy. There was no reception so you enter the building and take the keys by yourself but the instructions are clear and you receive them in the email. The manager let us leave our luggage after we check out and we even hang out for a bit more in the lobby till our train time which was very nice of them. There was also a complimentary breakfast which includes coffees, cereals and pastries. I’d recommend this place.

Great spot for the Taylor Swift concert. Murrayfield Stadium was about a 10 min walk. Bus stops etc are right outside the hotel so was very handy for exploring. Room was nice and clean and was fairly comfortable. Great for a short break. Self check in/out was also very straightforward. Hotel also checked in with us to make sure everything was OK which we appreciated.

Was expensive but that was because of the Taylor Swift concert and everywhere in the area and even further from the stadium was the same so can't really fault the hotel for that.

The place was clean and very well presented. The breakfast, while simple, was nice. There was also a coffee machine which allowed one to have a fresh pressed expresso, cappuccino, and other coffee varieties. There was also a display stand in the main lobby with tourist maps and handouts to the local attractions.

There was very little that we did not like. A minor inconvenience was the emergency exit light in room three was very bright when we turned the lights off to sleep. If you need a night light, book room three. We were able to cover the light though, and it did not bother us too much.
