Everything exceeded my expectations- from the warmth of the staff and welcoming atmosphere to the exceptional accommodation - like staying in a very special, much loved beautiful home. With its fresh, modern-classic wet-room and unique furnishings (from the luxuriously huge, comfortable bed and up-to-date choices of coffee pods/China tea pot and tea hags/NescafĆ©, to the gorgeous wet room, unique pieces of antique furniture, and great lighting, the room was perfect. Views too, and the whole house filled with oriental or antique or Modernist artworks and furnishings, living plants, and the relaxed yet completely professional staff you could imagine. Excellent breakfast and breakfast staff. An amazing free upgrade from a smaller room as the Sunday evening was quiet! Plus: parking space! Iāll be returning again and againā¦
The only thing that could be better would be a longer stay! And with my husband who I know would love it too! I fell in love with this place and these people, l and canāt wait to return.

Having decided to take the Wife away for a weekend of exploring in Bath I wanted to make sure we stayed in quality accommodation and The Dorian House Boutique guest house surpassed(and by a country mile) all my wifeās and Iās expectations! From the moment we arrived Bradley was on duty to welcome us and kindly offered to help with all our bags into reception. Dorian house is captivating and it embraces you from the moment you enter. After a brief but informational welcome talk from Bradley he showed us to our room(12) which is on the ground floor but high enough to look out to the City. The room itself is classy with the main features being the four poster bed and free standing wrought iron bath tub in the bedroom also. The bathroom was ideal with plenty of space and a double width power shower. The lovely little extras like the Nespresso machine, biscuits and chocolates impressed the Wife immensely. Breakfast is excellent too and having a staggered sitting time means Bradley and the team can cater for your every need swiftly and in a way where nothing is too much trouble. The fact that the Dorian use local quality suppliers makes the breakfast top quality in every way. At this mornings breakfast Bradley asked me what I would like to order and my response was..ā Room 12 in 6 months time please!?āš To conclude on behalf of myself and my very happy Wife I would just like to say Thank you to all the team at the Dorian but especially to Bradley for all your help and advice as to making the most of our time exploring Bath and for making us feel so welcome. We WILL be back!ššš

The room and the property, a beautiful old house, were great. We had a top floor room which was very clean and comfortable. It is on a hillside above Bath, an easy walk down across a bridge to the city center. Walking back up was not a challenge for this 70-ish couple, not even the first time with our bags.. Thankfully the weather cooperated. We came in by train, planing to rent a car when we departed for the rest of our trip around Wales. We didn't park (there were spaces) or take the breakfast. Bath itself was spectacular; we saw it all on foot, and it was great. The locals were wonderful, and are rightfully proud of their beautiful city.
This isn't a complaint, just a comment: We generally start the day with a modest breakfast, so the standard breakfast, which I assume was Full English, didn't seem a good value for us. We walked to Diana's Cafe near the train station, which had all we needed. When it came time to call for our ride to the car rental, they couldn't find the place, which seemed odd. One of the staff at Dorian House cheerfully got on the phone and helped straighten them out.

Wow, this B&B completely exceeded my expectations. Itās a beautiful building, well decorated and feels homely. The staff are just amazing they canāt do enough to make sure you have everything you need and they clearly know the city extremely well. Their recommendations were a hit every time. Particular thanks to Brad for recommending the salamander for a roast dinner. The breakfasts are plentiful, cooked to order and tasty. Location is great, short walk into central bath. We didnāt use our car the entire weekend. The little touches are what makes this place. Thanks for a lovely stay, weāre already thinking of excuses to come back.

The breakfast was excellent, and we appreciated the complimentary parking, although it might be a tight fit for less experienced drivers. The rooms were beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. 3 large windows allowed for ample natural light, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. Nice shower, stable internet connection and we enjoyed the complimentary sweets. The honesty bar was a convenient addition, offering a variety of snacks and drinks.
Nothing comes to my mind except for the hotel was slightly farther from the city center than anticipated, but it was still within walking distance.

Lovely house, well appointed with lovely furnishings. Lovely bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Good breakfasts and the staff were excellent. Our room was very very quiet. 15 minute walk into the city centre and Roman baths. If we were in Bath again we would stay here again.
Our only tiny niggle? Sausages. Breakfast was excellent - but needs better sausages. They weren't great and seemed to be largely bread crumbs. This really is the only tiny observation of how this excellent b&b could be improved.

A beautiful property in a quiet location with free parking within 15-20 mins walk to the centre of Bath. Loved the roll top bath in our room & there were even bath salts provided. Breakfast was delicious with locally sourced food. We realised we would be arriving after reception closed & staff responded quickly to our messages informing us where to park & letting us know self check in details.
Guests (particularly those with mobility issues) should be aware that the property is situated up quite a steep hill from the centre of Bath. However itās quite easy to get an Uber if you donāt fancy the walk back.

We had a lovely stay there was absolutely nothing we more we could have asked for, the room was lovely, the staff were very friendly and the location is great. Getting around Bath on foot is quite difficult if you have any ailments as it is very hilly and steep, this is not a reflection on the hotel though, it is Bath in general, the free parking is a fabulous bonus as most hotels don't have parking or if they do it is chargeable which can add a significant amount to the costs of your stay.

Lovely friendly welcome and staff are great, friendly and helpful. Cute property with all you could need and added little thoughtful touches. We were staying for our anniversary and we even got a card and chocolates left in our room for us!! Thank you. Rooms are clean with a great shower in the bathroom. Short walk into town, so great location. Breakfast was freshly made and very delicious. Would definitely recommend it.
The bed for my own preference was a little soft but all clean and fresh. Tasteful bedding.

Excellent location, 10 mins into the bustle of the beautiful city. Great value for money, the breakfast was incredible. Locally sourced! Andry well decorated, and extremely comfortable.
The bathroom smelt as though someone had used it a few moments before we got our keys. The room above was very noisy and were constantly banging and bumping around on the floor at all hours. The floorboards in between the rooms were not very forginv just to get hg the I'm tof wooden scream,
