I liked the location of this property and the majority of the staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean and housekeeping got things to us very fast. The person at the front desk who checked my family in was very kind and personable.

The bartender that worked in the pool area would overlook us when we came to the bar. The first time it happened I believed it was an honest mistake. When it continued to happen I realized it was not. Regardless of if we were there first or not she would help others first. It felt as if we were being stereotyped, which is unfortunate for her because I have worked in the food and beverage industry for over 15 years and tip exceptionally well. After I realized what she was doing, I did not make purchases from the bar anymore.

The room was spacious, including the bathroom. The room was very clean, except the huge flying roaches that came on the balcony at night, only (24th flr). Rm is equipped with everything one would need for a wonderful stay. The bed was comfortable.

Our room was next to the service area/maintenance on the 24th floor, and it was noisy all night. The door to our room had so much space that you could see the light from the hallway on all sides, except the hinge side. Anything could've crawled under it.

Second time we have stayed here. Room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Views were excellent from our balcony. we initially requested a room from the 16th floor or above with our reservation as we satyed on the 16th floor last visit. once we arrived we were given the 4th floor. I inquired about our request and the desk staff wqas ablt to accommodate our request and we were moved to the 23rd floor.

We were in an oceanfront room similar to last year. However we were not a corner unit but the unit next to it. The bedroom was situated behind the elevators and the constant noise of the elevator mechanics could be heard throught the walls in the bedroom all day and night.

Location on beach, convenient parking garage, laundry in room, large bathroom, kitchen finishes, chicken fingers at pool bar.

Check-in process is still odd and congested (2nd floor to get room key, then back down to 1st floor to unload car onto too few luggage carts for # of guests, while valet service also bringing cars to current guests) - overall poor design. Palmetto bugs in the room (staff didn't leave note to inform us whether they sprayed while at the beach, so don't know if they did or not). We had these during October 2022 vacation also but gave a second chance. Also, they never returned the pillow case that cleaner took in error.

A lovely little suite, clean and fully equipped for all eventualities. The staff were pleasant, polite and very helpful across the board. The hotel was well located for us, just one mile from the centre of Myrtle Beach so a pleasant walk there and back.

The safe in the room was problematic at best. We had to get maintenance/security out three times within a week as the safe wouldn’t open. Eventually they replaced the door which resolved the problem, but we had around 3 hours of waiting around in total, 3 hours of our holiday wasted.

The staff was excellent. The room was quite large and the bed very comfortable. There was wonderful water pressure. The soaps and shampoos were very nice. The sheets were comfortable. The view from the balcony was spectacular. The indoor pool was delightful.

There was often a long wait for the elevator. The quality of the towels, especially the pool towels, was very poor. The toilet paper was almost useless it was so thin. The housekeeping service failed to abide by our instructions to not enter the room. The shower door seal had mildew and leaked. The balcony was not clean. The parking is too far away and you must walk in the open to reach the hotel, which is an issue when the weather is bad.

I love Ocean 22! EVERY SINGLE staff member I encountered was very nice and helpful. They ensure that I had everything I needed. We ended up being there during a major storm and a tornado touched down to hit right outside of the property.

For the hotel to be so pricey, the beds were horribly uncomfortable. Also, there was a mix up at the front desk where $200 was taken out for incidentals instead of the normal $100. That was taken care. BUT upon check out, a receptionist informed us that we would be receiving a refund. When asked what it was for she could not explain. Maybe about 5 hours, a manger called and said they couldn’t pull an amount from my fiancées card (the refunded amount) and basically pressed me about getting them the money THEY refunded me for. It was a hassle and I that made me totally uneasy about the hotel stay all together.

The room was beautiful. It was very spacious and comfortable. We all had our own space. The views were amazing also. We witnessed beautiful sunsets and sunrises, right from our bedroom.

The breakfast was the only thing we were disappointed with. We were looking forward to a sit down breakfast and it seemed like more of a fast food breakfast. We ate out for meals during our stay.

I like the service all together, after checking into a 1 king bedroom suite and tv wasn't working in bedroom, after sending maintenance up the fix the issue but it didn't been resolved so GM upgrade me to a 3br, ocean front with no extra charge, I was very pleased with the switch, also gave me door service with keys and a cart to moved where I didn't had to go down to front desk for anything, I really loved the room

It was really nothing tha I didn't like everything was very good, I loved staying here and looking forward to visiting again

Everything was good about the property, my only suggestions would be, to change the cleaning policy from every five days to every three days. Also I would suggest cleaning the hot tub more often, we went a few hours after it open and the water was cloudy and had several dead bugs floating in it. I do understand about it being outside but still, it was a huge turn off for my crew and I. We did try it again on a different day and the water was still pretty bad so it was a hard pass for us.
