Loved the location. Staff was super friendly. We ended up staying an extra night and the staff did everything they could to keep us in the same room which was super nice.

We did not like the fact that we didn't get regular housekeeping such as someone coming to clean the room everyday. You put your towels and trash by your door every morning and they pick it up. However for new towels & toilet paper etc you have to go to the desk which was a bit aggravating, however not the end of the world. Just wish someone come in to make beds and vacuum and leave towels.

No complaints from us. We stayed from July 16-21. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Pool stayed open a little extra every night except the one bad weather night. Single mom with teenage girls and we felt safe the entire stay. Very breathtakingly beautiful views. The property is outdated, but I’m sure if they bring it up to the standard that it should be, the rooms would be much more pricey. In my opinion, it’s a great bargain for people who actually want to enjoy the beach, the pool, and the city. Maybe not so much if you are just looking to lounge in your room all day. The staff are not nosy and do not bother you. Enjoy your stay!!

It is outdated, but then again that is probably why it was such a bargain!

We loved the location. Right on the beach yet walking distance to the boardwalk. The place does need updating but for the price, it couldn’t be beat. The tub was stopped up when we got there but before I could even get back to my room the maintenance guy was already there and fixed in minutes. No big deal. And every single person that worked there that I encountered were absolutely so nice. This was our second time staying there and we will be back. If you don’t need fancy and you just want a nice place to stay that’s affordable and in a great location, this is where you want to be. They also have a nice outdoor and indoor pool. The indoor pool was being renovated when we stayed this time but that didn’t bother us. They have to renovate at some point. Oh and the beds very really comfortable. They felt like new beds.

The facility was amazing. Every single person we encountered that worked there was so nice and polite. And the pool was really nice. I loved our view from our room. And the beds were really comfortable. They felt pretty new. And location was great.

I love that the property was right on the beach parking was nice and I enjoyed the pool and the cabana with the frosty drinks. I also like that it was walking distance to the boardwalk and ice cream.

The room could’ve been cleaner and some of the lamps in the room not work, and they were old and dirty looking, and the curtains had rest stains on them, and some of the stuff is just old and dingy looking and the sofa looks like they got it from Goodwill and rolled it in the room and the room sleeps six but the table only had two chairs, any more chairs at the dining room table

We loved the convenience of being within walking distance to restaurants and attractions. The staff were very friendly and helped us with anything needed. The cleaning staff were always present during the day and if we needed anything extra they were glad to get it for us. We loved the tiki bar out by the pool and that they had kid drinks as well. We've stayed here multiple times, but 1st time with our kids. We'll definitely be back.

The pool was a little crowded at times, especially if the tubes from the lazy river were in there. However, we understand the indoor pool and hot tub were closed, so we expected it to be a little crowded. The chair service on the beach went straight across the front of the building, and you're not allowed to put personal umbrellas up in front of them or be in the line of lifeguard (which I understand). If there weren't so many of them, it wouldn't have been an issue. However, it's inconvenient when you have to lug everything way far to get to a distance that is okay to put up your umbrella. This was not everyday they had the chairs up, so it was nice on the days we could walk straight off the deck and set up in front of the hotel.

the hotel was clean and the staff was amazing! always helped us with what we needed, and always asked how our day was going. would definitely stay again! I loved that there are washers/dryers and the location is amazing too! we were able to walk to the pier/boardwalk in about 5-6 minutes. the pool and lazy river was great too!

the only things I disliked was the key cards kept messing up and wouldn't let us in our room and the hot tub outside was filled but must've been broken. other than that, the hotel is a win for me!

For one night stay there’s not a lot to complain about. The price is the most affordable of all the ocean front hotels and the view was incredible. The hotel obviously needs some TLC and remodeling but the rooms were clean and the most important part the bathrooms were spotless. Beach access was amazing. Pool and bar with the friendliest bartender and staff in general was so friendly! Distance to downtown was walking distance.

Beds were a bit uncomfortable but for one night sleeping in them for less than 8 hours at such an affordable price who cares. They got the job done.

We arrived early and were able to get into our room right away. It was a room on the third floor and they were painting the hallway so I asked the lady that checked us in if they were painting on every floor and she offered right away to move us to another room. From day one, everyone who worked there went above and beyond to make our stay a great one. Grounds are clean and well kept, clean rooms and pools. We've stayed at a lot of Resorts on and near the Grand Strand and this one was by far THE BEST!! Thank you Sandcastle Resort for making our stay an awesome one!

Location was good for my wife, she loves to be in walking distance to Boardwalk Shopping. Room was clean.

When we got there, it took an hour to check in, because a couple of customers were fighting with the attendant, and the police where called. Only one elevator. Hallways were hot. Only one ice machine on 1st floor, when it was out, you had to go across the way to there other building to another ice machine. Refrigerator was out, but they did replace it. Facility needs more up keep.

I really liked coming in at 11:00pm to pull right in from the street to the reception counter! I was promptly greeted and check in was fast and simple. Our room was close by, easy to find and parking was a bonus. Everything we needed was close by. My stay was just for peace and relaxation.

There was some crumbs left on the floor and the older carpet could use a good cleaning. The sink water pressure was a little low for me but it got the job done.
