We liked everything about this place! Truly a hidden gem. Yes, it's a bit complicated to arrive to it but once you've figured out the alleys, you'll have no problem. We had the Lotus room, on the ground floor. A beautiful and spacious room with a big, comfy bed, authentic Moroccan decor and coloured glass windows. The bathroom was the highlight of our room. You have a deer and a lion shaped faucet, a unique design of the bathtub and white and blue tiles on the floor. The toilet has a smart cover and although the remote didn't work, I absolutely enjoyed the warm seat. Breakfast and tea time were two things we were looking forward to each day. Please take in consideration that most days it's going to be about 70-80% sweet. We asked for some cheese a few days to balance it out and one day we received it, the second day they said that they didn't have any. Upon arrival we were greeted with complimentary mint tea and one evening we were even invited into the kitchen to learn how to make it ourselves. I loved the hospitality! I saw that they also serve Tagine for lunch/dinner for 15 euros/person and they even have a cooking class for 30 euros. We didn't experience these two options, just an fyi. There is a terrace at the top floor with a bit of a view over Jemaa El Fnaa but the noise coming from it can be a bit tiring. All in all, we felt really nice here, all of the staff is sweet, kind, respectful and ready to help with anything you might need. Hospitality at its finest! Congratulations!
If you know that you're a fussy sleeper, ask for an upper floor room. The noise from the breakfast area, the constant water dropping in the fountains and the two big windows that you cannot cover with anything can have a negative impact on your sleep. I brought a sleeping mask and earplugs and it was ok.

The staff were all great. Friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location was brilliant....so near to the city centre. The roof terrace was a great place to relax and hear the action in the square. The breakfasts were great. We liked the traditional layout of the riad....so much more authentic than a modern hotel.
There was nothing to dislike. Because we travelled so early in the year the courtyards were cold in the morning. Blankets and wooly hats at breakfast but they would be wonderfully cool in high summer. We had to change rooms after one night....apparently to the best room....which wasn't as good as the first. I'm not a fan of the bath and bed in the same room or no door on the toilet but not a big deal.

Our room on the top of the hotel with the terrace and jacuzzi was awesome!..we really enjoyed to stay in this hotel. Breakfast also was nice with kind and friendly ladies around. Thank you so much for the service. Great location just walking distance to the the local market, restaurants, bank, shops, and local park. great hotel, great breakfast. We will coming back again for sure. Thank you đ we had such a great holiday in Marrakech đđ
While staying there, some renovated room had going on. So little bit dusty..luckily we staying on the top floor. So no problem for us. The indoor swimming pool at the ground floor is just too cold (especially when we was there in January). So we mostly spent our time at the jacuzzi instead.

Everything about Riad Persephone was exceptional. The main highlights include the top tier service provided by Anouar who is always attentive and arranging activities and suggestions for travelling in Morocco. All hours of the night he is available to meet the needs of guests. I also enjoyed the amazing cooking from Guizlane. Of all the restaurants in Marrakech I went to, I would keep finding myself coming back to the Riad for meals. Everyone in the Riad is accomodating, the rooms are accurate to the advertising and the location is perfect.

We had a great stay at Riad Persephone. The Riad Is conveniently located near the square, however it is a peaceful oasis where you can't hear any noise from outside. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful, and at our arrival they offered us tea and cake, which was very nice! The receptionist Soufian helped us book the taxi the day we left and, because we were leaving very early, he made sure we had something to eat and packed us a bag with breakfast to take with us. Soufian also printed the boarding pass for us the day of the departure. He was really helpful with everything and we really felt the hospitality and warmth welcome from the staff. We can't be thankful enough for the staff and especially Soufian to make our stay so special and stress free. We will definitely be back!

The room was small but big enough for two, the private terrace, was a nice way to cool down after a day in the sunshine. Roof terrace overlooking the main square, was a lovely place to chill and read, whilst listening to the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Lots of hidden nooks to get away from the hot Sun, with a little library with books in different languages. Lovely, filling but simple breakfast, fresh orange juice and coffee. Would definitely go back and recommend a stay.
Nothing. Even with the small amount of renovation on a couple of rooms, the staff were apologetic and helpful throughout the stay. Giving complementary yummy Moroccan Mint tea, when disturbed.

The location was great, very close to the medina and the centre where there are lots of food and places to see, this meant that we didnât have go very far and we could easily be picked up for our activities. The decoration was very authentic and you can see in the pictures below, and the facilities were amazing, there was a swimming pool near the entrance with places to sit and relax. The roof with the Jacuzzi and chairs and the view to the market was one of our favourites. The breakfast staff and the reception staff were super lovely and kind, made us feel extremely welcome. The bathroom was super nice we loved the gold and the water was super hot which we absolutely loved. The breakfast was DELISH, we were so full and there was a variety, we asked for some tea as well as the coffee and natural juice and đ€© i really wish I could more pictures and videos
The only thing we would change is probably the placement of the window in our room and that the room has a slight lack of places to put your things away because of space, a mini wardrobe or something would be helpful but we didnât get the bigger room so keep that in mind. It can be tricky to find but dont be afraid to ask!

The staff went above and beyond from the moment I got there, when I returned late at night, and when I woke up late the next morning. They provided me with all the information I needed when I had questions, shared their food with me when I came back late at night, and provided me with breakfast after I woke up late and missed it. The rooms and space are absolutely gorgeous and the pictures donât do it justice. Soak in the hot tub on the patio and watch the sun set over Jemma El Fna. Shout out to their manager, Mounir who sat with me and talked about life in Marrakech made me feel like family. I will never forget the experience he and the others provided for me. Thank you so much.
I did not mind it, but if youâre sensitive to noise it is quite close to the market and it can be loud late at night, but I thrive in the hustle/bustle of the city. My one complaint is that I didnât stay here longer.

I felt so welcomed by the wonderful staff. They are very helpful with advice and anything else you need. I loved my bedroom - big enough for one person, but lacking space and storage for two in my opinion. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The air conditioning worked well. Breakfast is from 8.30am. The dinners are delicious - you have to book it in the morning. I enjoyed the decor and plants. Book your arrival taxi through them because they meet you at the main road where the taxi has to stop and help carry your luggage through the pedestrian streets to the riad. Although Google maps work in the maze of souks which is amazing. Fantastic roof terrace with two sun loungers and lots of other seating. Good views and sounds of Jemma al Fina. The small plunge pool is clean and very refreshing (very very cold!). There is a hammam but I didn't use it. I bought a local sim, and withdrew money from at ATM. They are both near the riad, but maybe it would have been better to do both at the airport.
The jacuzzi isn't heated at all. I didn't enjoy using it. This isn't anything to do with the riad, but re arriving at the airport, there will be a VERY long line for passport control! I waited about 2 hours, and some people waited 3 or even 4. It's ok when you leave though.
