Shimbashi Station was literally 10 minute walk away (900 metres) where you can catch the Ginza line that takes you to so many places. The staff was accommodating as we were a family of 5 with 3 kids and although they didn't have connecting rooms they gave us rooms next to each other. There were 2 washing machines but they were always full for a whole day I was trying to wash clothes, eventually I washed them the next day. Surprisingly, the coffee in the rooms was very good, and I loved that they sold snacks in the lobby and had drinks vending machines inside the hotel.
The area had lots of provocative advertisements for adult services which was not very suitable for families with kids.

Location perfect. Shimbashi station is like a hub station that has many trains to connect you all over Tokyo including airports Haneda /Narita without transfer, and even it’s an express train, no additional charge. It’s middle of kinda like red light district probably not suitable to children but the hotel location is a bit away from those drinking bars which are mostly near the station. Yurikamome line can bring you to many attractions like Odaiba, JR can bring you to Shinjyuku, Shibuya, Tokyo station, etc, and several metro was very useful too to go to Roppongi or Ginza. Ginza is walking distance, though. Imperial palace is also walkable. The hotel has common bath like hot spring style which is quite big. It has outdoor bath and sauna, a perfect place to relax after long walk. And it opens 15:00 to 11:00, meaning it’s open whole night. They had good cleaning system and replenish everything everyday including 2 bottles of water. Staff can speak both English and Japanese. One time we accidentally left our card keys inside the room, and the hotel gave us an extra one without any charge which we needed to return upon checking out. The room we stayed with twin beds was large enough to open 3 suitcases to fix our stuff. It had nice views of main streets for our room.
I wish window can open even slightly to get fresh air.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was easy to get to and the station was nearby. Lots of food places at night in the neighbourhood. The AC was great and the silk pyjamas available to wear were comfortable. We liked that there were vending machines on the same floor as the laundry.
We used the laundry (washing and drying) which was okay. It did feel a bit awkward when the total time for washing and drying one load all up took over 3 hours, and the fact there was only two machines. We only did one load because of this but there were people waiting to use the machines when we checked back with ten minutes left for drying.

We usually stay in the same chain of hotels, but in Roppongi. The hotel in Roppongi weren’t helpful in accommodating us this time so we opted for Candeo Hotels in Shimbashi instead. I emailed the hotel in advance as I had added an extra night on a separate booking as it wouldn’t let me add on the same booking, so I wanted to make sure it would still class as one booking altogether. I also stated how I was really looking forward to staying with them again and I received a somewhat unprofessional and unenthusiastic reply back from them just stating that we would be in the same room. No hello, or thank you for staying with them again or a “looking forward to having you back”, it just seemed really cold. I know it’s not a big issue, but also when we arrived at the hotel, the guy who checked us in wasn’t the friendliest but he also wasn’t rude, just not the Japanese hospitality I’m used to. Other than that, the hotel was good, the location is great as not far from the train station, most places are 15-30 minutes on the train. Plenty of 7/11’s, Lawsons and Family Marts around. The pillows were quite small and uncomfortable, both my husband and I ended up with neck and back pain by the end of our stay. The hotel was clean and we got new towels every day.

Location is super easy, it's a 5 mins walk from Shinbashi JR / Metro station and surrounded by streets of options of restaurants which open til late night. To add, Shinbashi is so easily accessible if you land at Haneda airport, it's just a fast 25 mins Monorail trip to Hamamatsucho , then one stop from there to Shinbashi. For the room, it's not the smallest that I've experienced in Tokyo and certainly good value, they have laundry facility which is great. Breakfast? Oh I love it.
A gym room will make it perfect. Sadly there isn't one. The bed is rather low and mattress a bit thin.

It was overall very nice. My room was rather small compared to the European hotels but I am always impressed how space management is mastered in Japan. There was everything I needed and was very comfortable. There was a kettle and some coffee/tea in the room. I asked not to clean my room every day and I was getting a bag with a new towel and a bottle of water hanging on the door handle instead.
Providing slippers is always astonishing for me. Not disposable ones but those used by everybody. Quite nasty. Overall it is expensive. It was fine for a business trip but myself I would not pay the price.

We loved the location of Shimbashi if you want to experience Showa era Japan. Surrounded by the modern high rises of Ginza, Shiodome, and the Toranomon Hills, Shimbashi is a fun and lively blast out of the past. The room was quite small and tiny but nicely outfitted. The 12th floor onsen was wonderful and provided a great contrast to the activity below. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, elevators very fast, and the small rooms were very well-soundproofed.
The room so very small it which is typical of Japan but It was a maneuver to do almost anything. There are no closets and nowhere for luggage that it was a maneuver just to do about anything in the room.

I love the central and convenient location. The staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable. The 12th floor facilities were an added bonus, since we can do hot baths and sauna every night and was our clothes conveniently. I’m also very happy that they allow us to leave our luggages after we have checked out.
Mostly it’s the TV in our room which only shows Japanese shows and I don’t think we can connect our devices to it. It would be nice if we can at least watch Youtube videos.

The hotel is in a great location with being 5-10 minutes from Shinbashi Station, so it is easy to get from one part of Tokyo to the next. Additionally, there are restaurants and small stores nearby the hotel. The hotel staff is very friendly and helped arrange transportation of our luggage and helped get our lost items on the train back. The room is decent size for Tokyo standards. We had a king bed, with a sitting bench, a desk and a small walk way. There was a bit of room for the kids to walk around. By no means is it the size of a hotel room in other countries. The bathroom was snug, but had enough space for the essentials.
The area is safe during the day, but I would be careful at night as there are people who stand on the corners and approach when you are walking.

The hotel is in a great location for getting out and about. In the evening, the area comes alive even more with plenty of small bars and cafes to explore. We were even fortunate enough to experience some type of event (didn't catch exactly what it was) where the streets had been closed off and lots of stalls and local dancing etc. Plenty of shops in the area - 7/11 etc for getting those all important necessities. The breakfast was fine - just something to start you off on the day. No real queues when we went - always able to get a table. Staff were very good and helpful. Room clean and comfortable.
For breakfast you need to ensure you are in before 0930 otherwise your choices are very limited. Room was small and no storage space - only able to hang up some items, so lived out of the case during our time there. But i wasn't there to stay in the hotel room.
