Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay at e-Stay Namba (as well as e-Stay Ebisu located along the next street). It is a self-service apartment - check-in was easy with instructions provided 3 days in advance through email. While located along a main road, it is still relatively quiet. It is close to a JR train station & several metro stations within a 5-10 minute walk away, which gets you easily to Osaka sightseeing spots such as Kuromon Ichiba Market, Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, Osaka Castle. It is also a 10-minute walk away from Shinsekai. You are spoilt for choice when it comes to konbinis - Family Mart, Lawson or 7-Eleven are all in close proximity. Check-in past midnight is allowed (but do inform them beforehand), which worked well for us, as our flight arrival in Kansai Airport was late at night There is the personal touch of a hand-written welcome note in the room. We appreciated coming back after a day of sightseeing, to a clean & comfortable room which exuded a cozy city small apartment vibe, with wooden flooring & wooden furniture including a table just large enough for the 4 of us to have our nightly suppers. The size of the room was nice for our family with 4 carry-on luggage opened up. The washing machine & the supply of detergent cubes came in very handy, & so did the special dryer feature in the bathroom - our clothes were warm & dry within 2-3 hours or so.

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was spacious and had a small kitchen, separate toilet from the bathroom, and washing machine. There was plenty of room for our two big suitcases as well. For the 4 of us, we had a queen bed, single bed and a fold out couch. The location was excellent, close to convenience stores, a grocery store, different train stations, and restaurants. The hotel is on a main road but it wasn’t particularly busy. Although we could hear traffic noises, it wasn’t particularly loud on the 4th floor. Communication with the hotel staff was easily done using the messaging system on Booking.com.

Even though the room is a non-smoking room (it even had a sign on the wall), there was a fairly strong cigarette smell in the kitchen area. As we were only staying 2 nights and it was only in the kitchen area, I chose to ignore it but it wasn’t pleasant to experience that every time we walked into the room.

Hotel was 9o second walk from subway, the staff go above and beyond making you comfortable! The room was super clean. It looked brand new lots of towels, kitchen, utensils, stove, microwave, big size, fridge, and freezer, very modern bathroom. We enjoyed using the washing machine, very spacious for luggage, lots of room to move around the room, we really enjoyed heating up food after a long day touring around the city! There is amazing supermarket right across the street even discount one, lots of 24 hour convenience, stores on every corner! There’s a choice of three subways from that location! There is a subway that goes direct to the Kansai Airport. We took it both ways fantastic! The hotel even was thoughtful to put out umbrellas on rainy days! Elevator in the building, you can’t go wrong! This place feels like home! The beds were very comfortable! They even supplied dishwashing liquid to wash dishes and laundry detergent for the washing machine! Television even has free Netflix, both in English or any language that was a plus my son really enjoyed relaxing and watching his favourite show in the evening! we were excited to return home every time, I would give it 20 stars! this for both couples, and especially families!

there is nothing dislike! This place is perfect!

The hotel is within 5 mins walking distance from Ebisucho subway station. This provided easy access to all the other subway lines to explore Osaka. There are other stations within a 10 minute walk that could bring you to USJ within 35mins. The room was much larger than I expected and very comfortable for a 4night stay. Even though housekeeping was not provided, they provided enough towels, detergent for you to use during the stay. The kitchen area was great, with enough cutlery/bowls/cups. They provided a pot and pan for cooking as well. There was a washing machine and a clothes rack at the balcony.

The room had black out curtains but the sunlight could still come in through some gaps in the morning. The room was mostly quiet, unless the emergency vehicles and their sirens went past. It was not much of an issue as I was on the 8th floor.

The positive points are: The location is great. It is very near to the subway and train station. 5 minutes walk, and you get to the station. Convenient store and supermarket just across the street, so you can buy stuff easily. The room is spacious. It's even enough for 5-6 people. The room also got double windows, which prevented noise and cold from outside. However, the room has no view. The room is facing another wall if you look out at the window. The washing machine is also very useful. The owner is responsive, and instructions are very clear regarding check-in and directions to the hotel from the metro station. The minus points for improvement are: 1. The instruction book inside the room needs to be updated. It doesn't match the appliances in the room. Such as the AC. Some instructions are also limited, such as the one to dry the bathroom. 2. Bigger bowl. The bowls provided are small, and it's a bit hassle to prepare breakfast with such small bowls.

Property was the maisonette style just next to the main hotel. We had 2 floors available to us. Plenty of room for the 4 of us, and we could not find such a space for the price we paid. Location was excellent, about 15min walk from dotonbori and 5-8min away from subway. 2 double beds with a big bunk bed was perfect for us. Having basic cooking facilities for boiling water or heating was perfect.

Luckily we did not need the 1st floor (just sofa and cooking facilities here) as someone had cooked prior and the whole apartment stank of oil we would not have managed to stay in. Also a slight smell of damp throughout.

Likes - pretty spacious and could accommodate 5 of us with about 6 luggages quite comfortably - washing machine with detergent and dryer blower in the shower enclosure - reversible air conditioning units for different spaces so that we would personalise our preferences - There was a mix up with the booking, I thought I booked for 5 people but somehow in the system, it showed 2 people and therefore we only had 2 sets of towels and amenities but the people managing the property were quick to respond and issues resolved. Dislikes - Depending on the subway line that you are taking, some can be about 12 minutes walk and if you’re lugging your luggages along, could be quite a hassle. - bathroom basin is too small, only a single basin and small counter top. For 5 of us sharing the apartment, there’s just no space to put our personal stuff. - Not enough hooks to hand towels or clothes

The apartment is spacious and features a fully equipped kitchen (not that you would need to use it, as eateries are within walking distance) and washing machine. The shower room is also designed to be a clothes drying room, and there is a heater fan installed on the ceiling that can be used to both warm the room and dry clothing that is hung over the bathtub. We made good use of the washing machine, doing our laundry every night and this great if you are travelling light and don't have many spare clean clothes to wear. There are a total of 3 beds (2 single size, 1 queen size) and 2 spare futons in the closet, more than enough to accommodate a small family of 4 or maybe even 5. The place was also quiet and we were not disturbed by the sounds of traffic or crowds. There is also LUUP ebike / scooter ride facility located right at the front door which can be great for getting to and fro nearby stores.

The thermal insulation is poor and it can be very cold / dry at night during winter so the apartment is equipped with 3 split cycle air conditioner units. There is one humidifier in the living room and this might not be enough considering the size of the rooms. I feel that the bedroom should also include its own humidifier.

Great place for a family holiday. My 2-bedroom apartment was clean and practical. You have access to a few train stations nearest being Ebisucho station. However, if you are coming direct from KIX, it would be a 15 mins walk from Shin Imamiya station to reach e-stay Namba. Shinsekai and Tsutenkaku tower is short walk away, where you can find game shops and a variety of food. Other than Shinsekai, there are also many F&B shops and convenient stores all around too. There is also a supermarket right across call Tamade.

Wifi can be spotty at times.

Loved staying at the e stay second house . There are only two apartments so it's more private then staying next door at there apartment building with many units There are also three subway lines near the hotel . From Shin Osaka Station after getting off the Shinkansen from Toyko take the red M line at M13 to M21, exit 4 then walk 10 mins. To KIX airport : From our E Stay Namba second guest house walk go left of estay exit and walk to Shin Imamiyaebisu Station by the 7-11 side of the street. You will see the overhead train overpass . Cross the street and the train station entrance is to your right . This station is not on your regular subway train map since it's a private train line Go through turnstile You will see bathroom on your right and elevator is there go up and Take platform 2 for Namba station Ride 1 stop to Namba JPY 180 Get off go left *Follow signs for elevator 3F North Gate but don't go on any elevators and you will see soda machines in front of you also, then Make a right Go pass the up escalator but don't go on any Escalator and continue to walk straight then You will see bathrooms, make a left And look to your left and you will see platform 5/6 for the Airport Express. Depending on the time you want to board or when the next train to the airport is, will determine which platform 5 or 6 you will get on. You don't need to buy a ticket for the Airport Express at any vending machine . You just get on the train and when you exit the train at KIX airport and go through the exit turnstiles use your Suica IC card to pay for the Airport Express.The train ride is only 1 hour max to KIX Airport. It's cheaper than the rapid train or other trains on the other platform with reserved seats and it's only about 10 mins. slower but you will save almost half the cost of buying reserved seats at the pink vending machines for the rapid trains.

It can get a bit cold at night if you don't know how to use the AC/heat unit and know how to warm up bath water by making sure hot water tank is turned on .
