Really beautiful book decor, helpful staff, cute café, many showers/toilets available to use
Having to make and unmake your own bed, this was a little difficult in the upper capsules and I would expect the bed to at least be made for the price I paid (I also do not like that the quilt cover isn’t sealable, it is literally just a sheet that leaves it exposed which feels unsanitary - they should have zip closures with such high turnover of people sleeping in these beds). I also got the impression that the capsule itself is not often fully cleaned, as there was dirt and hairs under the mattress and on the walls when I was making the bed. Just a little extra cleaning and bed making would make this a 10/10 stay.

What a unique experience! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Travelled with my elderly mother (bottom bunk requested), daughter and myself. Ideal for literacy/book lovers. It was very emotionally touching also to see a Japanese mother and her young 5 year old son stay there and happily read books together too. Note: Guests are required to be quiet at all times.
Nothing we didn't like. Although guests need good mobility and an adventurous nature and the willingness to be respectfully quiet to enjoy a capsule hotel experience such as this. When we stayed there most guests seemed to be in their 20s. We stumbled across this place on the internet.....so glad we went. The staff were friendly and polite - keep it up. Thank you. Arigatou gozaimashita.

Got there early & was able to leave my bags until I checked in. Staff were super nice & helpful. The location was honestly the best!!! Walking distance to everything! We stayed in the double room, we had a balcony which was cool. The hostel itself was awesome, it had a cool vibe, nice easy music, clean facilities & very quiet although next to a busy area. Upstairs was a karaoke place which was awesome. Wouldn’t recommend this place enough. Thank you for an awesome & affordable place.
It was so hard to find, there needs to be better signage outside, I was standing outside of the building, about 10-15 metres away & didn’t know it was the hostel. There’s literally no signs unless you’re standing in front of the hidden elevator. It is directly across ‘The Pink’ sign. Also, mattress is a self inflatable tent mattress, pretty thin but with a few blankets on top it was doable.

The location just off of Dotonburi and the wide selection of reads (even in English) were great. As a first Capsule experience it was pretty much as expected.
We stayed in Osaka for 3 nights and not having a fridge or means to cook (like at our other hostel/ryokan style accommodations) meant a pricier food cost in Osaka. The food/coffee offered here was great but niche. Futons were not comfortable compared to our other stays this trip (but were passable if you were only staying a night as Capsules were more designed for) and the bunks needed better air circulation in the summer heat.

Nice, quiet, clean and perfect little hostel! They had lots of showers, toilets and even free shampoo/conditioner/face cleaner/ make up remover. It was really clean and quiet and modern. In the capsules they had outlets, a safe and a flashlight. The location was really nice- close to subway and bus as well as the shopping mall.
Unfortunately the mattress was soooo thin and the pillows quite uncomfortable. It was also drying hot in the capsules. There were no lockers for suitcases.

Such a comfortable hostel. The bed was actually soft unlike many places in Japan. And a proper pillow too! Also no stairs, everything is on the same level and close and you get up with a lift too. Family mart is few meters away. Absolutely loved that in the capsule there was a dimmable light, hanging space and a safe easy to use to store valuables. Most books are in Japanese, but some English books were really interesting. They had the whole harry potter collection aswell! If you can invest a little and are not planning to cook, this would be the perfect hostel.
The cafe area has an unwelcoming cold design, fortunately though you can also hang out just in the “bedroom”. First morning I woke up and crawled out of my capsule and there were people right in front of it so that was a bit uncomfortable - not the most private place since the sleeping area is the same with the living room… also note they don’t have a microwave or fridge, just a kettle. Shower water took literally 5 minutes to warm up so don’t freak out if it’s cold at first.

A surprise little hide away accommodation. The entry to the dorms are unique, outside seating area and inside bed and book area, there is a window between coffee area to lodging area so it’s not completely claustrophobic or blocked from the outside. Not a massive accommodation but big and spacious enough. Your little capsule is actually pretty big compared to other capsules as you can actually sit upright inside. Shops around the area.
It was a great experience, nothing ready bad about the property, clean and bright.

The location is great, it’s around the corner from a main shopping street and close to a few stations. The bathrooms and shared space were always clean, and the cafe (although a little pricey) was really handy in the mornings when I was feeling exhausted from my travels.
The bed space is a bit smaller than I expected, maybe because I was used to other hostels where the pod room is a bit bigger! I was quite hot at night because the ventilation didn’t do much

The hotel includes a cafe and we at breakfast there and bought some coffee in the evening. The presentation and taste is phenomenal! They use charcoal to color everything black with contrast with he white grey interior of the cafe for a super aesthetic design. They had a special strawberry short cake latte I tried that I loved! The breakfast sandwiches are also huge and super delicious. I wish I could have had a chance to try their French toast, but will definitely come again next time!
I'm a deep sleeper so I did not have any issues, but if you're someone who sleeps lightly, capsule hotels might not be your thing. But that's a given!

More than just an insta picture stay, our time there (2 under 12, 1 adult) was peaceful and enjoyable. My 2 kids loved the the down time reading the selection of picture and English books they had. Staff was courteous, helpful, and accommodating, the facilities were bare minimum but well kept and clean, and the other tenant, local and foreign travellers alike, were respectful. Apprehension about noise and airflow from reading reviews ended up being over exaggerated.
Minor issue with broken lockbox in my capsule
