This was my first time staying here and I would definitely recommend it! The facilities were spotless. The team working behind the front desk were always polite and happy to see you as well as engaging. My fellow travellers were all respectful, quiet and happy for a chat at the right times for me, which I really enjoy being a solo traveller. The kitchen and communal space was inviting and always comfortable.

The ability to self-check in if you're outside of hours, particularly travelling and arriving after 11:00 p.m. would be ideal. I'm appreciative of quiet hours due to other travellers. However, a lot of flights do tend to land within Japan late at night and it would be more convenient to check self in via the code system and the doors. The current system as it stands works well however, and I'd definitely stay again.

Located half-way between Namba and Shinsaibashi metro stations, easy walk from both stations, but more straightforward from Shinsabashi station. Easy walking distance to Dotombori area. Reception and communal/dining areas are clean, bright, spacious and airy. Kitchen well equipped. Security to the ladies floor and dorms is satisfactory with the use of passwords. Had a standard-size bunk bed. Each bed has a half-height locker with a combi lock. The 6-bunk beds room is bigger than the capsule-bed dorm, so it is a little more comfortable with space to move around and pack your stuff. Occupants of the capsule-bed dorm have to use the laundry space outside (still on the ladies floor). Even so, have not seen it messy or crowded (stayed 5Ns). Washing machine and dryer are available on the same floor. No. of showers, toilets and wash basins are adequate, with good space outside them to clean up, dry your hair, etc. I never had to wait to use any of these facilities.

The air-con in the dorm is a bit problematic, often found it warm and stuffy when we return from our daily sojourns. We had to keep going down to reception to ask the staff to do something about it. They responded well generally, and the problem is usually addressed.

The location is very central, if you like going to bars and restaurants this is the perfect location. It's also very close to the metro so it's easy to travel around the city. The staff is also very friendly and helpful 😊

You're supposed to wear slippers inside the facility, but many of the other guests did not do so. Therefore, the floor outside the toilets looked a bit dirty.

Staff were very nice at the entrance, special thanks to Shu. Everything was clean and new, with a simple aesthetic. The bed and pillow were comfy for me and the black blinds block out the light pretty well. Showers and bathrooms were nice, proper doors and decent size, I never had to wait except a bit for the sinks at ~8am which is normal. Slippers provided! Location was perfect and building felt very safe with many locks/passcodes to access the rooms.

The biggest problem is the room door lock, it makes a very loud noise when you unlock it (doesnt matter how gentle you try to be)

Excellent place to stay in Osaka very cooperative staff nice space to sleep has laundry as well and nice huge lounge with a kitchen internet service was nice the place is very close to Dotonbori and you can find halal food also near by try Ali's Kitchen

There were no hooks to hang cloths in shower rooms

Nice to have Balcony for access to outdoors and fresh air. Belongings felt safe with only one other small dorm in our private area and a shared locking door. Rooms were fresh and clean.

My Dorm was very crowded with bags and snow boards so it was difficult to get to my bags or have room to move much. It was ok though, just had to utilise sleeping area, access bags in shared hall (one other dorm).

Convenient location. Short distance from a metro station. Quite near Shinsaibashi and many many shops, restaurants, and bars. Staff was helpful. Quite big common area with various table and seating. There is an additional table on the Female floor right by the laundry area.

The only problem was the door to the female rooms. There were 2 doors for the large room. Even if the bed is not near the door, there is a closing noise of the door. Because the wall where the heads go is thin. I hope they can find a solution to the door closing noise.

The staff was so nice and ready to help and talk. The location is also pretty nice and convenient - close to a lot of sightings and subways. The kitchen and lounge area is big and comfortable.

Not so much the hostel, but several nights the other guests were really loud in the middle of the night (I guess it's a party area as well) and until morning time. So maybe not that comfortable if you're a light sleeper.

Perfect design for a dorm hostel. I experienced first modern dormitory hostel in Singapore in 2016 and until now I think White hostel is an unforgettable experience for anyone who wants a perfect designed dormitory hostel. Simple yet convenient by all means

Maybe because of the number of tourists are many so sometimes it will be not so perfectly clean in the toilet and bathroom area but that's fine for me because the merits just outweigh any unpleasant things.

Location is really near Shinsaibashi station (Osaka Metro), and just a few minute walk to the main alley of Shinsaibashi - Dotonbori - Namba shopping district. The bed was comfy, clean and pleasant. Smoking area is available on each floor. The lounge and the kitchen is spacious and free to use. Convinience stores are also nearby.

The shower's water pressure was a kinda weak when a lot of people using it at the same time. The Wi-Fi is a little bit slow, probably due to a lot of users at the same time, but still good enough to play online games.
