We had a wonderful one week stay at Milky House. Milky’s is in a great location just a short walk from the Annipuri slopes. All the staff are extremely nice and helpful. Max, Jack, Sophie and Gloria recommended great bars, restaurants and areas to ski - which was very kind of them. The beds are very comfy and although the showers are on the ground floor they are clean and hot and we got used to going downstairs very quickly. The food at Milky House is delicious with a buffet and hot option for breakfast and a three course meal for dinner. Gurung very kindly collected us from the station when we arrived and from Hirafu when we went out for dinner. Serena, is always there to answer any questions and was very flexible when we made changes to our dinner reservations. We had a great stay and hope to come back again! Thank you Milky House team!

Nice and cosy chalet, comfortable bed, close to the slopes (not even 5 minutes walk! ) and 10 minutes walk from Onsen! Pleasant and accommodating staffs, breakfast is good and authentic and different every day, especially appreciated the Japanese specialties! That said, it would be great to have a heartier option like bacon, eggs, and hash browns as well. Before heading out for a few hours of skiing, a more substantial breakfast would really it the spot! Definitely recommend and would stay again if the opportunity arises.

We loved the very welcoming and familiar atmosphere, very leaned back, young team, uncomplicated, truly friendly. Perfect for Christmas! We had a very delicious Christmas dinner, we loved the common room with the fire place. The communal showers have just been renovated, very nice! Very close to the ski slope. The skiing resort was not crowded, skiing conditions great.

Few restaurants around, you need to book in advance, if you do not want to eat in the Milky House, which is always a good choice, though!

I liked that it was cosy, quaint and clean. Staff were lovely and it was a feeling of a little family. Brekkie was nice a simple but great every morning. Ram is a lovely man and great cook. Love his home made yoghurt!

I was upstairs in the Cow room and it wasn’t ideal to have to go downstairs literally at the other end of the house everytime to shower - it would be nice to have 1-2 showers upstairs as well.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! It’s very comfortable and beautiful, with an incredibly attentive and kind staff. The atmosphere is so relaxing, and the location is perfect—just a short distance from Annupuri station, with a convenient shuttle bus if you want to explore other stations. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, a real treat after a day out. When I return to Niseko, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Thank you for everything!

If you are looking for a log cabin and snow village experience, Country Inn Milky house is the perfect place to stay. Its our first time to experience winter wonderland during the christmas season and i opted to book this place instead of the modern hotels in town and my family loved it! They offer dinner reservations served by fantastic chefs. There is a lounge area beside their dining area where you can hang with your family by the fireplace while looking at the nice view of nature out the big windows. The location is perfect as its just walking distance from the ski resort. People were very very accommodating — we arrived at 2AM which is beyond the check in time but they made sure we will be welcomed. Staying here feels like you are vacationing in a house of a friend. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended :)

Great little guest house, I would stay here again! Excellent breakfast (and dinner for extra charge is good too). Lovely ambience for hanging out apres ski. Helpful staff. Short walk to lifts at Annupuri. No convenience store nearby, and limited restaurants. If you don’t have a car you can get here on the bus, but we wished we had loaded up on more snacks before so we have some while skiing. Onsens also are a short walk away.

This is amazing journey with Milky house Inn. The inn is very close to Aunupuri nook, just need 2 mins walk. The dinner there is the best beef I have even taste (had talk with staff, chef is Italian, no wonder!), please don't miss that. Staff is very nice, drive us to a very beautiful local hot spring for free. The cafe house is wonderful, cozy and comfortable.

Please leave more time for check out, bill is sometime not easy to count if you add more service. So bear in mind it may take 20 mins including count bill and pay with card, just leave some buffer in case you met connection issue. Besides that, everything is perfect!

This cozy hostel style lodge offers first rate food, caring engaged staff and a really fun casual atmosphere. It only took a few minutes to realize that everyone feels right at home and the guests are all getting to know each other and share stories and intel on the ski conditions and spots on the mountain. The bar out front is super cozy with first rate cocktails and a great Japanese whisky selection.

Milky House is a very special place. The location is perfect if you wish to be close to the Annupuri Ski resort. We came to ski but the trip was so much more. Best of all were the evening meals. Delicious, lovely, beautifully prepared meals. We ate all six dinners there and didn’t wish to go anywhere else. It was a real highlight of our stay. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The owner, Masa, was also very helpful. We just loved our stay at Milky House and highly recommend it to others.
