The location is quiet and I enjoyed the convenience of a 7-Eleven right next to the hotel. It is within 15 minutes by walk to Kyoto Station, and plenty of food options nearby. The room is big, cosy, and offers enough space to pack your luggage and walk around. You can get toiletries such as towels, shavers, and toothbrushes at the counter. Check-in is automated and very easy, with clear instructions on the screen to follow.

The toilet is a bit cramped as the shower, toilet bowl and sink are very close to each other. There is enough space to do everything but for a big guy like myself, I have limited movement in the toilet.

We’ve stayed here for 12 nights and got it for an affordable price. It’s 10-min walk from Kyoto Station and it’s near 711 and a pharmacy. They do the housekeeping every 3 days. There is a washing machine in the laundry room located at the ground floor. Although they only have 1 washing machine, we did not encounter any issues with others using it. The staffs are all friendly - from the receptionist to the room cleaning attendant. We did not encounter any inconvenience during our whole stay.

I had a great experience at the hotel, primarily due to the extremely helpful staff. They went above and beyond by securely storing my luggage even after I had checked out, which was incredibly convenient. Additionally, the hotel's location is ideal; it's just a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station, making it very accessible for exploring the city. Highly recommend for both the service and the location!

Great location, quiet, easy access to restaurants and convenience stores, friendly staff.

Stayed 6 nights in a room with a window from which you only see a wall that’s less than 1 meter away so natural lighting was extremely limited. No bottled water provided in the room at all.

Very conveniently located to the main train station for trips to Nara, Uji & Fushimi Inari-taisha; as well as a scenic 45 minute walk along the river to Gion district (or a bus from just around the corner). Some good food options within a few minutes, a coin operated washer/dryer and luggage storage.

Bedroom & bathroom both on the small side but good enough.

Overall clean and tidy. Reasonable price for Kyoto. You can take a bus to the more interesting areas of the city.

It's not that I didn't like it. There's a code for entry and the reception is staffed for a limited part of the day. It didn't really bother me. But it's good to know. Only one elevator.

great value for money. very modern hotel and very spacious rooms. no card or key to enter hotelroom. everything was pincode, this made everything even more comfortable

no smart tv, for travelers maybe not the best option since the only thing you can see on TV are japanese channels

Room was a good size by Japan standards - actually had plenty of room for luggage and having a table with chairs was nice for extra surface space. Very quiet and dark - great for sleeping. There's a self-check-in kiosk though a staff person was available to help us when we arrived. Reasonable walking distance from Kyoto Station, we managed with our luggage without much trouble. Wifi was strong.

Lobby is very plain but we weren't expecting anything fancy. Ran out of hot water in the bathroom sink every morning, though not the showers. TV is a far distance from the beds.

Location: Is a bit far to walk around daily, it needs to takes 10 min walking distance to the kyoto train station. Staff: Reception not always there for help, it's more like a self service apartment rather than a hotel, and there's no room service, we need to pack our own rubbish to the lobby.

Great location. Easy to find. amenities were very nice and the price was right. Communication we received from the hotel was also good.

It was a little confusing at first checking in, but with a little time we were able to figure everything out.
