Very clean showers and toilets, rooms also very clean and neat. Rooms are very small but we were prepared for that though so it was really nice and interesting experience. In the rooms fresh air is coming constantly from the ventilation and there are bluetooth speakers easy to connect with your phone. Rooftop lounge is great for relaxing with friends and not crowded at all. Staff was also amazing, very helpful and cheerful! Special thanks to Moses who welcomed us as a real host but also to Henning and the rest of the crew, keep up the good work guys!

Loved the whole vibe of Cab20, simply designed rooms were perfect for what we needed. Staff were super helpful and friendly too. Bathroom/shower area was great, loads of showers and sinks so you didn't have to wait for the rush to die down in the morning. Bed was comfy. Luggage lockers were needed and provided for our large suitcase. Although we didn't try the food the menu looked great.

The only downside was the area you have to walk through to get to Cab20, didn't feel safe until we were actually at the hostel, we had to find a route around the street that lead straight from the station as it wasn't passable due to numerous homeless, drug/drunk induced people wandering around, beating each other up etc etc. Love the hostel but I'd love to move it to a nicer area.

The room is spacious and private, it has Bluetooth speakers, the bathrooms are clean, and the staff is friendly.

The showers are in the basement, so you have to take the elevator and you may encounter people entering the hotel, the area where it is located is quite intimidating as it is close to the bus and train stations.

The hotel was super clean and really well-maintained, which is always a win. The staff were also absolute icons, so friendly and welcoming. Plus, the location, while a little sketchy, was super convenient being right by the train station. Gold stars all around.

Some things were just a little too high for someone who's 159cm. The bed was practically a mountain, I barely managed to get onto it with the side step. I felt like a fun-sized person in a king-sized world, definitely not built for shorties. The neighborhood felt a bit sketchy too, but nothing too alarming, just a little more gritty than I expected.

It was very modern and clean. The facilities were in excellent condition. It was quite a fun/unique place to stay.

I wish there was a few inches more space at the foot of the bed. The worst thing was the area. There are quite a few people nearby with substance abuse issues and I felt a bit nervous a couple of times walking back . I tried to ask the staff about how risky it is walking home but they didn't seem to understand the question or offer any advice. I think they could improve on that - particularly for female solo travels. However I would say that it's only ten minutes walk from the central train station and if you stay on the main road that runs parallel to the road the hotel is on, it's pretty busy - there are a lot of people around. I didn't have any problems. I think solo travellers should be careful though.

The property was really good, modern and the staff was super helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, bathroom and showers clean as well. Overall a comfortable stay for a few days, because the rooms are cabins.

Although it's not the property's fault, the location was not good, I would not recommend for women travelling solo. To my surprise the area around St. Georg has a prostitution and drug scenery, on the smaller streets there are many man standing in the streets during the night. I tried to use the main avenue when going to the hotel and avoided coming back late at night.

Slept really well - comfortable bed and surprisingly quiet. Bathroom facilities were good, also the wifi and the social spaces. Loved using the wristband as a key and not having to remember to pick up a keycard constantly! It’s a really good halfway house for those who want a step up from a hostel but not a fancy hotel room. This idea should be rolled out everywhere!

People (often staff) sitting smoking in the hotel doorway (just go a few steps away, please?) And the area… feels quite unsafe and intimidating if you go the obvious way to central station. Walk the other way (via Lange Reihe/Danziger) and it is much better. Or use Lohmuhlemstrasse U-bahn for a quieter experience!

The shower and toilet were really accessible. The price was very low, and everything was very modern. The WiFi worked amazingly, there is a space you can use to chill in a couch, a terras. The breakfast is also very nice, yoghurt, cheese, meat, bread. Really positive and helpful staff as well by the way.

There is barely any storage in the room itself. My suitcase was almost too big and almost blocked the doorway. So it was a bit difficult getting in and out of the room because of that, but since I only needed to sleep there, this won't stop me from returning to CAB20 again.

The cabin bed was very comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend this location for shorter stays though. Close to the main train station, but even closer to Lohmühlenstraße Station — trust me, the walk to this station is a lot safer. The showers/bathrooms are normally very well kept. Front desk staff are super friendly and available 24/7. The food and drinks at the main lobby are great. There are two vending machines and a coffee machine on the premises if you don’t feel like asking at Reception. The common area on the 3rd floor is great and the terrace is a great spot for sundowners.

The location is one of its greatest strengths and weaknesses. Walking to/from Main Train Station (Hbf) can sometimes be unpleasant, however because of its closeness to Lange Reihe it is a massive plus. It’s not something they can change, but some dodgy people roam the street where CAB20 is located. Better to walk into St Georg directly or use Lohmühlenstraße Station to get anywhere further.

Fantastic cabin hostel. Very high end for a hostel, facilities were very impressive, free WiFi with a great, modern downstairs lobby area. Having your own cabin (albeit tight) was great to securely leave my items in and you can sleep undisturbed from roommates which is typically experienced in traditional room share hostel situations. Showers were very generous and clean with lots of cubicles and sinks for personal hygiene. Location was slightly out from the centre but walkable or easy enough to catch public transport. Highly recommend and will definitely return when in Hamburg!
