great location, amazing breakfast (the lady who assigns us to the table, was so pleasant) very modern nice room, convenient for public transport. U3 line goes everywhere needed

window view from my room at the 5th floor, saw some blond hairs on the clean towel, met one silver fish climbing to the wall, used coffee cup was not replaced/cleaned. no complementary water bottle.

It was quiet and I did enjoy that. There was a problem with my breakfast due to booking.com not doing things right but the staff were lovely and u derstwnding. On our first day of arrieved we were welcomed by a young lady and she was lovely at writing down places for us to visit. The hotel was nice and costumer service good. I loved the touch when I was going out of my room on Friday morning and found that we had a chocolate Santa left by our door and every single door! This was lovely. I appreciated also the vegan choice of breakfast.

Bathroom, needs a bit of updating with the shower as it splashes the water everywhere… The vent for humidity wasnt working, therefore there was a lot of steam around. The bedsheets right at the end bottom of the bed, had 2 stains which they should has got rid of that bedsheet as it’s not very nice to see the stains, I know they were small but still I did not expect that. Was a bit disappointing not having bedroom slippers as most hotels offer that. It’s a shame about the location due to the high number of drug using around and across the road from the hotel, not your fault but it’s a bit intimidating and impossible to not feel scared,,,

I don't mind no view, but the small and emphasised small courtyard had little daylight coming to lower floors, room was on 2nd floor and little sunlight to light room. Every morning, workmen drilling above room. Offered the last day before departure to be moved on a five day stay. Noticed everyone else was staying in rooms down other corridors on the 2nd floor away from work. Staff was happy to help, but room allocation there was no thought put into maintenance in the hotel andcrooms in the vicinity

Very nice hotel. Clean rooms. Good size. Good amenities in the room - shampoo and shower gel, safe, tea and coffee making facilities, air con, smart TV. Quick check-in and check-out. Pleasant reception staff. Short walk to Hamburg Central Station and main Bus station.

Uncomfortable sofa bed. The adjacent area of St George and near the central station are not nice parts of Hamburg. A lot of homeless people and drug addicts on the streets. At times it did not feel safe, especially at night. Not advisable for couples or families.

Our room at the hotel was spacious and had good facilities. Hotel's corridors, lobby and overall area were clean and functional. The staff was friendly. They were also very helpful.

The air conditioning in our room was not working. Also, the handle on the window was removed when we first entered the room. So we could not open the window. But despite all this, we didn’t feel the room was stuffy too much. Wi-Fi was generally good, but it was incredibly slow and bad in the evenings and nights. The worst thing about the hotel was that there were many homeless and dangerous people living and being around the hotel. (We have no problem or issue with homeless people. We help as much as we can. It's just that this location doesn't suit the hotel itself.) It takes a short time to walk to the center from the hotel, but you can see many homeless and dangerous people while walking.

Fantastic modern hotel within walking distance of the city centre. Staff were all great.

The walk from the train station to the hotel was concerning with drug dealing happening openly. I didn’t feel safe walking on my own. People lying on the floor near the cars after taking drugs. This was right near the hotel and did not give a good first impression of the location and property. Police presence was not visible at all. I could not get Marriott points as was told by front desk we can’t get points if we do it through booking.com??

My family and I enjoyed the spaciousness of the room we stayed in. We have an almost 2-year-old toddler, so the room was very convenient for storing two big suitcases, a stroller, and a play space for our son. Breakfast was superb! We particularly liked the welcome infused drink. So refreshing after spending hot summer days outside.

The hotel itself is located in a relatively nice neighbourhood and within walking distance of the Centraal Station, the city centre, and countless eating places. However, the walking route to the Centraal Station is rather rough because we can easily see many homeless people living on and occupying the street.

We liked the comfort of our room and the shower, the air con worked well, and we were well looked after. The location is great, very close to Berliner Tor U-Bahn. It was easy to get home after hours. The hotel was quiet and we liked the little extras, being able to make tea or coffee. My son went to the complimentary gym, as well.

I did not quite work out how the sauna worked, but then there was no time to explore that. The shower was great, but the bathroom tended to get quite wet and towels did not dry easily. Breakfast was very expensive, so we opted out on that one.
