Firstly the staff was very welcoming and informative about the hotel and places within the surroundings. 2 blocks away are a variety of stores to get basic supplies ( Pharmacy, Whole foods, liquor store, smoothies 😋 dine in etc) 16 min walk away from the white house.

My room was clean, comfortable and fav' part was a working fridge and microwave. ✍️ there was an issue while showering, the water in the tub wasn't going dwn while taking a bath ( no I didn't call front desk as I was already active in the shower so I just used something to keep the stopper from staying closed) I only stayed one night and totally forgot to mention upon checking out) also there was only one wash cloth available so my companion was left without one.. A Plus was alot of towels and hand towels available, BUT need more wash cloths. There's a Diner within the hotel if you don't feel like going outside and a self serve 24 snack area... I would stay again ..

Central location near most monuments, clean and comfortable rooms especially the bed

No breakfast. This is offered by a separate entity and the quality was not as good compared to expectations of a Hilton..

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the room we had was a good size with all the facilities we needed and free bottled water everyday from housekeeping. Breakfast was great - plenty of choice an hey as the Johnny Rockets diner area to host it which was lovely. Always clean too, no matter what time of day. We would definitely stay there again.

One drawback was that it was a little way out of the main area so we had a walk every day to begin our exploring. That would be reflective of the reasonable rate they charge though so would not put us off at all next time.

The hotel is clean, comfortable and safe. The rooms are really big. There's washing machines and dryers to use free of charge, just bring your own washing pods. The front of house staff, cleaning staff and maintenance staff were all lovely.

The Breakfast buffet isn't great, it's cold and not restocked regularly. We asked for bacon and eggs as the trays were empty and when they came out they were cold, so the food is coming from the kitchen cold. The floor staff have no interest in serving guests with breakfast vouchers, there only interested in the paying customers.

Very helpful & friendly staff. Free drinking water available in the lobby. Free dinner for kids if alteast on adult dines from Jhonny Rockets restaurant. Tea / coffee / hot chocolate & complimentary drinking water bottles available in room. Room had refrigerator, microwave oven & coffee machine. Free baggage storage after check-out.

Location is a bit far, about 15-20 mins walk to Mc Pherson Station & also White house unlike expected. So carrying luggage to train station was cumbersome. No other restaurants or cheaper dining options available in the nearest proximity.

The bed and pillows were super comfy.

The bathroom lighting was excessive!!! In the middle of the night and turning on that light it's offensive. There's no way to dim it or turn on just one light. Having to turn on the light near the kitchenette so the microwave works is ridiculous. Mice in the Johnny Rockets was a bit much, but also understandable given the age of the building. Johnny Rockets is a great addition since I last stayed but they need more people working!!! Completely understaffed!!! Led to a long wait.

From the time we walked in the door, the staff was exceptional. I've have stayed in many hotels over the years, and the staff at Washington Central-White House was by far the best. Peter and Mr. Walker at the front door were extremely kind men and knowledgeable. We will most definitely stay here again on future trips to Washington DC.

The AC unit shut down in the middle of the night. The weather was extremely humid outside, so the room became uncomfortable and hindered a good night's sleep.

Located in the city centre, about 10 minutes walk from the White House, so it's a good start for sight-seeing. Check-out time is very good compared to other hotels and luggage storage is very flexible. Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful.

There aren't any coffees, restaurants, bars, groceries in the whole neighbourhood (which is of course not the fault of the hotel) but the hotel itself has a nice diner and offers some snacks to shop, which counterbalances it a bit. WI-FI speed is slow compared to other hotels. Double beds could be wider.

Rooms were clean - Rom 818. Nice view of the city! Breakfast was basic - limited fruits - green apples not nice. Bananas were fine. Front desk staff were super!

Staff at the restaurant especially whites were funny - a bit not interested in serving black folks. I greeted one who pretended to be busy and not hearing. SO, when I walked away, then he answered but in a funny tone! Sunday was the worst experience - long queue and lean staff in the kitchen.

Great location in the embassy district. It's a 10 - 15 minute walk to the subway and there are a couple of bus stops within a 5 minute walk. There are good restaurants nearby and also a supermarket. There is a guest laundry on the top floor which was very handy.

The room we were initially assigned was very noisy but the duty manager moved us to a room at the end of the coridor which was very quiet and we had no problems thereafter. It was a bonus that the move was done whilst we were out sightseeing so it was very convenient. The restaraunt/cafe is pretty average and did not cater at all for food alergies.
