I absolutely enjoyed my stay. A great value and location at the end of the boardwalk. Beautiful ocean views. Beautiful sunrises/sunsets. The room was very clean, beds comfortable, and the bathroom shower head was a big plus. There was an issue with the TV, but maintenance arrived quickly and resolved the issue. The staff was helpful and friendly. Free parking was a plus. Local restaurants are walkable and great. I am definitely going back to stay here again. If you're looking for a nice clean room at a great price, book here. The small fridge, stove top and microwave were a super plus. Dishes/pan/pot included! Highly recommended 👌🏽 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The location of the property which was right on the beach. The oceanfront efficiency room had a small kitchenette which was really helpful in you have kids.. On request, you can get room service as well..On a long weekend the price of a room was really decent..It was very close to some good restaurants which was a bonus..

Pool wasn’t that great..It is a little old and would be nice if it is renovated.. You wont get any umbrellas or beach chair rentals in front of the property..You have to walk down 7-8 mins to the left along the beach where you will get rentals and so you have to station those there..

Staff was nice , the room was spacious and very clean. Enjoyed the room and the Oceanfront view and the Housekeeping were very nice and cleaned our room daily and gave new towels, etc…except we had a problem with air conditioning system in our room, making a lot of noise and it was hard to find anyone at the front desk after calling and going down there several times. When The front desk associate arrived she was willing to send someone to assist us.

The cleanliness of the hallway floors of hotel and elevator needs some tender loving care.

I hadnt stayed here in years and was pleasantly surprised to see some modern updates and new decor. This a convenient and normally quiet area of the beach with quick access to get in and out without fighting traffic on the strip. Also if youre a surfer or serious body boarder, this is the hotel you want to stay in with direct access to the surfing area just beside the inlet. Beautiful views and make sure to check out the rooms with the whirl pool hottubs beside the bed overlooking the water.

Our jacuzzi room was on the top floor facing the Atlantic Ocean with a balcony, the elevator, ice & vending machines were right out our door, so what more could you ask for? How about free parking, an early check-in at no extra charge, being allowed to swim in a huge refreshing pool (none of the other hotels around seemed to have an open outdoor pool in April) & catching a gorgeous sunrise in bed. This place is a real gem at the southern end of the boardwalk!

The tub in the shower didn't drain very well & the TP rack was lopsided, but that's just me being knit-picky. I didn't like that I couldn't stay another night.

The hotel is right on the beach and the views are great. Parking on the property is extremely convenient, and they even have two spots for EVs. Staff are extremely helpful and responsive.

The hairdryer did not work, and it seemed as if the air conditioning was not doing a great job of taking moisture out of the air.. it was plenty cool though. To be fair, it had rained heavily the day before, but the laminate floors felt very slightly damp.

Free parking. Room was true to the advertised photos on Booking. Fantastic ocean views. Prime location for exceptional beachfront access. The jacuzzi tub was enjoyable and a great perk for the offseason rate. Kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator, sink, dishes and utensils were convenient and clean. Generous towels. Separate bathroom with shower/tub in the jacuzzi tub rooms. The last non-doctored photo in this review is a fiery sunrise over the Atlantic from my balcony on March 15. Iron and ironing board in room. Toiletries in bathroom. Plenty of outlets with USB ports.

Very soft pillows. Bring your own if you can. No neck support at all.

The front office team were fantastic, very responsive, and attentive. Housekeeping was diligent, kind, and also very attentive. Awesome views from the room and balcony. The kitchenette was perfect for what I needed, saving a little money not going out to eat every meal. I have been coming to Schooner for about 4 or 5 years now, and will continue to do so, the location, rooms, and staff can't be beat!!

What I didn't like had nothing to do with the staff...they were actually very kind and proactive. Schooner Inn is a non-smoking facility, it's what keeps the cost down, unfortunately, many of the guests have no regard for that...there were a couple of days where the people in the adjoining room were smoking pot...it came right through the walls, and I couldn't use the balcony. I am sensitive to smoke, so it was uncomfortable for those few days; however, the staff did all that they could for me. Perhaps a light-up alarm in the rooms would be helpful.

The size of our room was great and loved that we had a stovetop and cooked our meals the view was awesome from our balcony everyone from the front desk to the room service was so nice and very pleasant enjoyed our stay.

The pool was pretty cold they said it was heated but very cold. Didn't really like the hard floors we always had sand all over very unpleasant feeling sand on your feet all the time.The music that the inn played sometimes out at the pool was very disturbing and not very relaxing it is supposed to be a family relaxing vacation but my husband told the inn about it and they changed the music and were very understanding. The beds were not as comfortable as they should have been maybe replacing some beds would be a good idea.

Fantastic location. On the quiet end of the beach. The view from the room was exceptional. There was a lot of water activities that were fun to watch. We are an elderly couple so were didn't go out on the sand but really enjoyed all the action going on. The beach was very clean. There were not many restaurants right in the area but within a couple of blocks were great seafood places. Right on Rudee's Inlet where the fishing boats come and go. The staff was extremely pleasant. Robert, who checked us in, gave up his parking space to us so we would be close and not have to walk a distance. The beds were so comfortable and the room quite large. The Inn wasn't fancy with lots of frills but had everything you need to stay in comfort. We would definitely recommend the Inn for families.

A little tricky to get in the parking lot. Also could use a few more luggage carts. Like the fact that there is a no pet policy. I have a cat at home and I love dogs, but I don't want to stay in a room where animals I don't know have stayed.
