The parking was the worst, no one vacationing should have to park their car a half a block away from the hotel. There were some parking spaces on-site most of the time was used by staff. In my opinion , no employee with the exception of the Manager should be allowed to park on-site, for their customers to have to walk a half . The a.m. manager was very polite , some of the front desk staff require some customer service skills to move forward in the Hospitality field. I enjoyed the Ocean view room and the balcony was a plus. All the gift shops, restaurants, escape rooms, and attractions surrounding the hotel were great. This was my 1st visit to Vaginia Beach, I will most likely use this area as one of my vacation areas, to bring my grandchildren. They even had horseback rides on the beach.

The staff is amazing and very helpful. The location is excellent! A beach front hotel with plenty of restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. Outdoor pool along with Virginia Beach within walking distance. Trolly pickup location is near hotel for another fun way to see the area. Clean room with a view of Virginia Beach! The pier is within walking distance and recommend eating at Ocean Eddies for some good food while visiting.

Very limited parking but a parking pass is given at time of check in. Just be prepared to walk back to hotel if Valet is not available. VERY slow flushing toilets-have to hold handle down to completely flush

Great location right on the board walk. Our ocean view room was wonderful. Rooms were modern and well equipped with mini fridge and microwave. Nice free coffee service in the morning. Nice casual beach bar, "Calypso" right in the hotel. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was free one block away, with valet available if desired.

Pool deck was a little small and did not have a view of the ocean due to a wall enclosing the pool.

I liked Natalie the desk clerk the convenience to the beach parking is terrible right at the hotel because it is such a small parking area otherwise you will have to park around the corner from the hotel that they reserved for the guest the restaurants were great scenery was great my only issue was my ocean view which was more of the rooftop of vents than ocean view and I wanted just ocean view so I could sit out on the balcony at night and just take in the beautiful view of the beach considering I was on vacation from my high stressful job however everything else was great!

Housekeeper taking all the towels even after I told her we were fine that morning left out came back all towels gone with no replace clean ones

Room was clean and comfortable. View of ocean was spectacular! I loved it. Staff was friendly, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Fantastic value for the money. Close to everything we needed.

My only complaint, if you will, is that there was nobody to help take the luggage back and forth from car to room. It worked out because my son was with me, but if I had been alone, I would have had a hard time.

The 2 Queen Oceanfront Suite was fantastic! I wanted the extra space for my 17 month old to be able to explore and enjoy the ocean views and of course people watch. I had just the right amount of space for her playpen and all of our additional luggage.

The three things I didn't like is that the hotel does not offer continental breakfast, there's very limited parking spaces at the hotel itself, and the lighting in the room is a bit dim.

The room was fine, the pillows were terrible. There was a decent selection of tea/coffee at all times near reception. There was no official breakfast but they did have some fruit and individually packaged muffins.

The sheets/pillows were awful. Bring your own.

Absolutely amazing location!! Right on the boardwalk/ beach! You can sit on the balcony and watch the waves roll in. So Beautiful ❤️ The room was outdated and needed some work. The bed wasn't a heavenly bed, but it wasn't hard as a rock either. It was okay, but the water was hot, and that's all we needed since we weren't in the room much anyway. There is a nice size pool that looked clean and inviting but it was too cold since we traveled at the end of September. The hotel has free hot coffee and a grab & go breakfast in the mornings. There is also a restaurant connected to the hotel called Calypso. Unfortunately we didn't have time to visit this place but it was always busy and the locals told us it had great food/drinks. I do recommend stopping at Ben & Jerry's directly across the street. Ice Cream was delicious!! 😋 There is also shopping as well and a few eateries. SurfBreak has great customer service. Anything we needed was taken care of. Overall, I recommend this hotel to couples and solo travelers. Im not sure about children since there's not much to do at the hotel for children. It's more suitable for adults only. If you need a nice place to stay, that's not overly expensive, then this hotel is for you!

Outdated, smell of Marijuana from other rooms, stained sofa

I liked the location and the ocean front! Beautiful view, very friendly and attentive staff. The sheets were very clean and the towels smelled clean. The beds were very comfortable and my apartment was spacious. My children loved it and we had a lot of fun.

I didn't like that they didn't have parking in the property but later I saw that it was better because we went out for walks more. (They provide parking lot 1 block near the building)
