location was excellent.

would have appreciated an email or notification regarding the front desk being located on the second floor. In Aloft's defense, I was in a huge rush to check-in and wasn't anticipating the need to look for signs to find it. In retrospect, the signage displayed was plenty sufficient but a highlighted heads up would have been welcome. find me a wall downtown that's not cluttered with information.... That's the only possible complaint I had with my stay and I can easily see that as my fault. I would and will absolutely stay again.

Jonathan at the reception was realy nice and helpful he gave us good tips for eating out and spending the day in Austin. The room was nice and had a beautiful view. The Hotel has a nice restaurant in the lobby were they serve good food even until late. The hotel has a good location, you can reach everything by foot.

There was a air vent in the room that made a squeking noise, we had to stuff a towel in there for the night. On the day we left the hotel we took our car from the valet service, while paking our things in the car there was a wierd homeless guy sneaking arround our luggage, nobody from the valet service said anything or took the secuirty of their guests seriously.

Location in downtown Austin was great. Dinner in hotel restaurant also fine. Room minimalist but totally functional; nice big windows out to city. Great shower. Historic Driskill Hotel was one block away and very fun for brunch.

We had to pay $60 to valet park our car for one night. There is a car park at end of block where they probably parked it. Convenience would have been one thing; but we had to wait for over 30 minutes for our car to be returned to us. Not great if on an airline schedule.

Clean, modern rooms. Comfortable beds. Friendly, helpful staff. The location was pretty central to everything we wanted to do. The fitness center was on par with most hotels. We loved the restaurant and coffee bar on the first two floors, and the nightlife scene looked robust. Would highly recommend for adult travel.

We came on a Saturday night and were a little surprised that registration was in the same place as the bar. We and the lady at registration were yelling to be heard. My hear sank a little when I saw the bowl of complimentary ear plugs. And we could hear music from our room, but only on Saturday night. My 9 year-old son would highly recommend after seeing an elevator packed with beautiful young women clad in thong bikinis.LOL. However, if you're traveling with kids you might want to look elsewhere.

We've stayed at Aloft hotels before and have always had a good experience. This was no exception. The rooms were spacious (for downtown hotels) and in a great location. A little pricey and we had to pay an additional charge to upgrade as our booked room was not available. Not a big deal.

A little pricey, but it is a quality, down-town hotel so not unsurprisingly. Valet is expensive. Not the fault of the hotel at all, but the homelessness in Austin is awful and this unfortunately includes around the hotel.

Awesome location. Walking distance to some great shops, restaurants, and the capitol. Friendly staff. Great amenities at the hotel. We enjoyed the 2nd floor lounge/restaurant area. Very cool and fun vibe. Room was small but clean and comfortable with a good view of the city.

Wish it had a pool. Lighting in the room was awkward if you had to get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night you had to turn the lights on, which brightened up the entire room (no separate bathroom light), which wasn’t great for the others who were trying to sleep. Parking was either valet ($60/day) or self park in the garage, which was pretty close, but still around $40. Maybe that’s average, but it’s still a lot when the room was nearly $200.

Pleasant room with city views, comfy bed and plenty of space to unpack and relax. Friendly and responsive staff (including the excellent housekeepers - who made sure a couple of requested amenities were in my room upon arrival (in the early hours of the morning; much appreciated). Excellent, walkable location close to restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy, etc. Having been on the road for a month, access to the pristine, in-house laundromat was a welcome plus -- and the concierge happily supplied me with quarters! Also noting that the hotel was at capacity due to sxsw, but didn't seem to have any negative impact on the experience or service. Well done, would return.

The rooms are spacious. Our room had excellent views of the downtown street, while also being quiet and comfortable. The bed was firm- perfectly comfortable.

The staff seemed ill-experienced. We had trouble checking in. The room keycard did not work and the staff member asked me to check again. I had to go back up and come back down again, which was annoying with all the luggage! It turned out that the keycard portal (thing that blinks when you use the right keycard)was out of charge!! I eventually asked for another room.

Everything was very good.

The only problem was I know the valet was very busy. But they left my hazards on for over an hour and drained my battery. I left the hotel at 10:30 and when I got back at 2 it was still out there. a kind valet worker used his car to charge my battery for almost 30 min to and hour We stayed out there till three in the morning. And it was finally able to start. But the whole ordeal drained my battery I had to replace the battery for $247. At auto zone. That was the only disappointment in our trip.

Great location downtown. It has a bar with amazing drinks, guava rita was my personal favorite. Staff was friendly and helpful. Once in the hotel we were offered to upgrade to a much better room for just $20 a night. Great views, great vibes.

Not the hotels fault but a lot of homeless people nearby at night. Parking in premises is way too expensive. Housekeeping was very loud in the mornings.
