The hotel is nicely situated close to the main streets (Royal, Bourbon, and French Market); walking distance from all the highlighted spots. The Hotel was charming with a peaceful courtyard and pool. I loved that there was a lot of bottled water available at all times.
There was a massive spider web (daddy long legs included) up in the corner when we checked in. There were multiple others around the perimeter of the room. So Gross. The wonderous front desk gent rid them for us, but they should NOT have been present. Staff needs to look up when they clean.

Beautiful location, very cozy, good size room and spacious shower. Very friendly staff.
Balcony didn’t have patio set to sit outside. Never figured out how to use the coffee machine and no coffee offered onsite.

The location was in the center of the French quarter and easily accessible to everything including the main city sights. The room was simplistic but accommodating. The bed was a king size and very comfortable. I felt like I was at home. The view from the balcony was very beautiful and relaxing to sit and take in the sounds of the city.
The only exceptions to the this room was the fact that there was not a mini fridge. Breakfast is not served, but there are plenty of coffee shops and restaurants to choose from close by that were excellent, so it wasn’t a problem for us.

This historic hotel was quaint, well maintained and had a lovely courtyard around the pool with several different seating options. It is very conveniently located one block from the French Market and provided easy access to many areas of interest. Each staff member that I interacted with was friendly and eager to help make recommendations or offer services when asked.
The only thing that was slightly inconvenient was that the door to the room had beautiful four paned windows that were tastefully covered with an opaque drape which let the hall lights filter into the room throughout the night. This made it hard for me to sleep and may be problematic for other travelers.

Mrs. Elaine and Neil were the highlights of our stay. Mrs. Elaine was so accommodating and helped us with any issue that we had. She offered to assist with excursions and taxi services as well. She took us on a tour of the hotel and showed us where to go and how to use all of the hotel's resources. When we had some issues with our room, she made the proper adjustments and made sure that our entire stay was comfortable. Thank you so much!! We had a room on the ground floor which made everything convenient including the pool, front desk and exiting. The location is quiet for NOLA and very convenient with walking to Frenchmen, Bourbon and surrounding areas.
With the historic look and feel of the area, it can be hard to get good ventilation in the rooms. With it being so hot in NOLA and constant air conditioning running, the rooms can have an air conditioning smell to them. Be sure to ask to see your room before getting too comfortable.

Each of the staff members I spoke with were helpful and pointed me in the right direction, even when it came to recommending local postal services. The hotel is in the perfect location for exploring. The room had everything I needed and shower was very good. There was a free ice machine near the pool which came in handy. Whomever cleaned my room was perceptive and sorted it properly. Last but not least a taxi was recommended to me and when I stupididly forgot my car keys in the back of the taxi, he came back and dropped them off. This could have been a major issue but because of the professionalism showed from the reception to the taxi driver it all worked out well
Nothing bad to say, everybody was very professional and helpful.

The hotel is in an excellent location with easy walking access to Bourbon Street, wandering through the French Quarter and to Frenchman’s Street. Lots of good eateries nearby. Our room was large with a very comfortable bed, pillows; and a renovated large bathroom. The staff was polite and attentive; but Elaine —in particular—at the front desk was wonderful, very helpful. There were some minor housekeeping issues but nothing serious. The pool area was fantastic on a 90 degree day; most guests were respectful in their use of the outdoor space. The property is very well maintained. Would definitely book here again.

Loved the quiet location and relaxed atmosphere. The pool and courtyard were wonderful to relax in before and after long days at the Jazz Fest. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom.
The brick floor was in need of a thorough vacuuming. Extra towels for the pool would have been nice to have. One of the light bulbs had blown which we reported to the receptionist but that was not replaced during our stay. There was quite a lot of noise in our room at night from people walking around on the floor above. It was rather annoying to have other guests sitting on loungers right outside our room talking until 1.30am when we had a very early pickup for the airport that day. I realise that very little can be done about these issues by the management but I would suggest that guests request a room upstairs for more peace and privacy.

We were fortunate enough to be upgraded at the property, which I believe made a huge difference in the quality of our stay. We stayed on a higher level in a larger king bed room, and it was absolutely lovely. Very clean, excellent location, and the bed was SO incredibly comfortable. It was also very quiet despite overlooking the street. Would absolutely stay at this hotel in the king suite room again.
There is no elevator, which was not a problem for us but is important to be aware of for accessibility purposes. I had friends staying at the property the same weekend, and one had a room on the first floor off the courtyard and said the noise from outside was very loud, and another stayed on the first floor off a hallway and said the room was very damp. We were in the penthouse suite, which has wooden french doors that can be opened to connect to the other room. While this is a great feature, there is a gap under the doors. With (gorgeous) hardwoods and spacious rooms, the sound travels and even a quiet conversation travels easily between rooms. We were lucky to have (mostly) quiet neighbors, but would have been very frustrating to have more noise than was there.

The staff were exceptional, so friendly and helpful at all times. The property is beautiful and charming. The little courtyard was such a nice place to sit and put your feet in the pool after walking around all day. We had an interior room which was actually so perfect because it was absolutely silent. Despite being right in the French Quarter it was so quiet and peaceful. After being out in the city all day it was fantastic to come back and be able to completely decompress without any intrusions. If you have any trouble sleeping you'll be so comfortable.
