The staff were extremely helpful. When I arrived in Ringwood by National Express after 10pm, there was no local buses running and Taxi's were busy. No Uber's either. The hotel/bar manager (sorry, I forget her name) was very helpful and arranged for her husband (chef) to pick me up from the bus station. I'm incredibly grateful for their help. The Room was very spacious and comfortable with blackout curtains. The bed was very nice and the bathroom was also spacious. The pub downstairs (also used by non-guests) was really nice as well. Good variety of food and drinks. Tip: if arriving by public transport, ensure you arrive during the day and arrange for a taxi to pick you up from the bus stop.
Nothing that I didn't like - especially after the help and service I received when I arrived.

Nice place. just right off the A31, The room was great very spacious, free parking in front of the hotel. friendly staff, short simple check in. Good comfy bed, good bathroom well modernised. big TV. Wifi great although keeps asking to log on, but works great. Drive to Bournemouth was about 18 mins and very easy, straight into town. Ammenities close by include BP Garage, and Starbucks up the road. Solid place for a weekend trip, biking, walking etc. Downstairs pub/restaurant do a good breakfast. Coming and going at night was easy enough.
My 1st floor room overlooked the carpark/entrance which was fine, but a net curtain or blind would've been nice for privacy and some natural light, there were only blackout curtains. so it was all or nothing. I felt a bit naked in there. There was no regular tea only camomile, and only decaf coffee, no milk. not a big deal really cleaners probably just forgot to fill that bit up, but I really wanted a cup of coffee before I went out, to pick me up a bit, and it was too late (midnight) to ask. Old fashioned keys mean you have to remember to lock room. not a big deal but ....don't forget! Quiet at night but you can hear doors opening/closing I tried my best to be a quiet as I could.

Fantastic Queen size bed, french doors to garden to let my dog out, good size TV, lovely bathroom with bath and shower, radiator and thoughtfully designed wardrobe.
This is just nit picking but, Bathroom mirror too far away from standing at sink, had to shave using long mirror in hallway, no doggy bin had to walk across muddy grass in the rain to green bin on other side of field. TV needs retuning as very few channels actually available assuming itâs connected to a terrestrial aerial and receiving freeview. Couldnât use shower as water boiling hot and couldnât be turned down. As I said just nit picking and didnât spoil our stay, except for the boiling water.

Lovely place to stay. Big room, with double bed, iron and ironing board. Spacious bathtub with hot shower with products provided. Good breakfast - lots of options from the pub menu attached to the hotel. View outside was of the garden. Lots of parking spaces outside. It was close (10 mins drive) from the fire and military centre where we had our pre-hospital medical training (ICC - immediate care course) organised by BASICS. It's very close to Southampton so I was able to do a bit of shopping on my long way back to Stoke.
The hotel reception closes by 11pm or midnight I think, and reopens in the morning. Therefore, if you are late and come in the middle of the night, there's no one there.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Bathroom looked like it had just been refurbished. Tea and coffee facilities in room although no biscuits. Only one comfortable chair and one dinning type chair which meant one of us had to lie on the bed. Room stated view but it looked out on a wall and a tree. Room was quiet which was good. We had room no. 1. Plenty of parking spaces
The outside was looking a little tired and could do with a lick of paint. As itâs winter I would hope this would be sorted in the better weather.

The hotel and dining room are comfortable and well decorated with plenty of space between tables and other guests. The staff are helpfull and friendly and the room I had was very spacious
The location is on the main dual carriageway, and traffic noise was evident early in the morning but not too bad as to cause major concern. Exiting the car park onto the main road was a little challenging as the busy traffic was moving fast, and the exit from the hotel does not have a slip way to join.

A fantastic HQ for our weekend of fun and festivities. Iâve always enjoyed staying here and also coming for various events over the last 20 years or so. The rooms are excellent and well appointed, and the beds are very comfortable. We chose this hotel as our home for the weekend, while we celebrated a friendâs major birthday. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, without being obsequious. The food (breakfast, lunch and dinner), was all beautifully prepared and presented.

We had the same room we stayed in before. Michael at reception was delightful and also at the bar and restaurant nothing was too much for him.
Few of the staff were rude not helpful and everything was a pain if mentioned anything. Ie ordered steak medium came back well done questioned it n was told very rudely it was cooked the same time as the other steak. Started closing early n turning off lites while we were still in restaurant /bar with family . No last orders bell was rung.

Breakfast was lovely nothing was too much trouble..... Young lady with a ponytail was so attentive!! Stayed at another hotel beforehand the full English breakfast was so much more flavoursome here!! Mushrooms were so nice!! The room was cosy!!
The walls are a bit thin so easily heard people in room next to us! At 1am guests downstairs came back after a night out they were very noisy talking loud they went inside then came outside at 1.30am again ... fortunately it went quiet few minutes later!!

Extremely clean, spacious and comfortable room. Had a great night sleep. Staff were really helpful. Food in the restaurant was really nice and well priced.
My room on the ground floor had a patio door which was not very secure. Didn't feel i could leave anything of value in there. On the second evening the restaurant and bar closed suddenly due to an 'emergency'. Not sure what it was, but it ended our night abruptly which was a shame.
