We really enjoyed our stay at The Garden Room. While the room itself was small, it was beautifully decorated with interesting items and furnishings including a stunning four poster bed. You also have your own little garden space with acers, bamboo and twinkly lights. So gorgeous! There's also the lovely addition of all the fantastic horses and sheep outside. A wonderful location and hands down the best welcome hamper I've ever seen (including bonus treats for Easter!) The best tea selection I've ever seen too. Thank you! Fab location and lovely hosts too.

As it is a working farm with animals right nearby you do get the noises that come with it (geese, dogs barking, sheep baaing etc) but it's so charming and all part of the experience. I'd much rather be woken up by the sounds of the countryside than the roar of traffic! Plus the sheep alone made it worthwhile. I could've sat and watched them all weekend :)

Sue left us a fabulous hamper with more than enough breakfast.. The accommodation was quirky and very comfortable. The location on the farm we particularly loved with all the animals and lovely private garden. We were very happy there.

We didn't dislike anything and although we knew the washing up facilities were outside we realised in the rain it was a bit difficult for us to navigate with our lively dog under our feet. But that was our problem not anyone else's.

We loved everything. Such a cosy cabin with absolutely everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable and there was a hamper supplied full of goodies and plenty of teas and coffee, milk ,butter all supplied. We loved the private secure garden which our dog loved exploring and watching the animals in the fields at the bottom of the garden . Was lovely to meet all the animals especially the horses and Boris the peacock who loved to sit and look in the window at us. We even loved being woken up early by the rooster and the geese and all the animals walking past our window mornings. Sue was lovely and friendly and recommended places to us. We loved it so much we’ve already booked for next year. Such a cosy relaxing place to stay .

Even though the temperature was 30 degrees outside the gorgeous garden room was cool and very comfortable. The outside space had a beautiful shaded seating area which was very pretty. There was also another patio area overlooking fields which was very relaxing. Sue the owner was very friendly and supplied an amazing hamper and bottle of fizz which was gratefully received. It was lovely seeing the various farm animals and we had a great couple of days. We will return.

Surrounded by nature. Deer, horses, ducks, geese, partridge etc etc. 4 poster bed. Garden seating outside Closeness to a good pub Nice towels and warm dressing gowns

Having to use bathroom sink to wash dishes but we worked out a system. Maybe a bit too much in the way of ornaments, cushions and blankets (on the bed)

The Garden room is in a fantastic location with its own little private garden. The owner had thought of almost everything and I had not expected so many provisions to be in the room. There were actually too many things in there really but it was very kind of her. Peacocks and guinea fowl peering through the blinds were an unexpected but very entertaining extra. A brilliant fire to heat the room and lovely touches such as remote control candles and a bottle with two glasses. It must be very nice and cosy for a couple. A short walk down the lane and one is on the open forest or up the lane to the lovely Red Shoot pub. The owners leave you alone and are very pleasant people.

The room has too much furniture in it so washing up has to be done in the garden with a hosepipe. A bit dark in the room I thought.

Nice Host, quaint pretty and clean room , comfortable bed, very private, exceptional welcome pack, decent dog walking area, close to a local pub.

Should be better signage outside, couldn’t control electric radiator, couldn’t work, sky satellite, fantastic, welcome pack, and toiletries, but would’ve been helpful if items were actually listed before we came, as we needn’t of bothered bringing our own stuff. A little bit out on a limb, apart from Pub, no facilities within walking distance.

This was our second visit to The Garden Room (as we loved it so much last year we felt we had to come again and stay a bit longer). We loved having what amounts to a tiny cottage with it's own garden. Sue is very generous with her welcome hamper of food, and we liked having the little kitchen area where we could prepare simple meals rather than pay through the nose at the pub. Learning from last time, we bought 'ping' dinners from a branch of 'Cook' in Ringwood, so we could come in after a day of walking to a decent / quick / cheap meal - perfect!

Nothing, we loved everything!

We enjoyed everything, from the room, the animals to the beautiful location. The room was absolutely amazing, very comfortable and clean! The welcome hamper was fabulous, we couldn’t believe the amount of goodies inside it and other goodies on the table (Prosecco, bread, cheeses cake etc) and in the fridge (butter, water, soft drinks) Sue and Maz the owners and the lovely lady that was helping out (didn’t get her name) were so friendly and interesting. Will definitely be going back!

Nothing to dislike! Everything was just perfect for us and our little dog

It was v peaceful in a farm yard kind of way. Lovely to be near beautiful horses & other animals. The room was colorful, delightful and warm. Private garden area with a variety of seating.

It was perfect for me. I wouldn’t change anything.
