Beautiful property with amazing views situated on a lovely little beach and not far from a local shop and Helensburgh town center thank you for a fantastic stay
We loved everything it was very pleasant so nice and pretty in a quiet peaceful location the bar & extras are a bit pricey but expected with it being a hotel would advise to bring your own snacks and juice for your room for night time etc the card wouldn’t work alot of time for us to get into our room that really was it’s only flaw

Hotel staff were very pleasant and very forthcoming . The room was spotless. Very good food. The food is a bit overpriced but the free cooked breakfast which is worth £15.95 was exceptional and the cold selection and coffee was unlimited. Booking.com allocated us a room which shouldn't have been in use - management was very honest and actually told us this. We received a 50% discount and have been offered a free upgrade should we book there again. John, who I assume is manager is an absolute credit to the Rosslea.
We arrived on a dark and wet January evening and it was very difficult to find as the signage does not say Rosslea but instead Victoria XU. Signage could do with a bit lighting for this reason only. Bin men woke us up at 7am, on a Sunday! Management were a bit surprised by this and are going to look into the reason the refuse bin was there on a Sunday as they were unaware they'd be there.

This hotel was an amazing find, from the minute we arrived and were given a warm welcome by John to when we left it far outweighed our expectations. The room was spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and bed very comfortable. We had a delicious meal in the bar and again the staff were so welcoming and friendly it really made us feel special. Finally a delicious breakfast to end our stay with the best black pudding I have ever had! We will definitely be visiting again. The value for money was exceptional in fact we think they should charge more and we would have been happy to pay it.
That we only stayed one night!

the hotel was convenient for my purpose. Reception was very helpful to arrange a disabled room with walkin shower which was hot. Room was clean and comfortable although furniture looked a bit worn and tired. TV worked OK and kettle and tea/coffee was welcome. Disabled parking was adjacent and staff helped me with my baggage on arrival and departure. Breakfast was served with a smile with the usual range of juices cereals fruit, with toaster, butter/marmalade/jam and the cooked breakfast dish was delivered hot quite quickly (within timeframe 0700-1000, so unhurried!). The fresh croissants were excellent. The duty manager offered any further help if I needed it.
Dinner menu offered a somewhat unexciting choice and was somewhat overpriced. The decor/ambience in the bar was rather stark and industrial for my taste; but wines were not highly marked up. Entrance from the road is not well signposted or lit and hotel reception area could be spruced up. Corridor carpets are worn. The dead slippy leaves outside the entrance door should be removed. My bill was not itemised or available due to a technical fault but I cross- checked sums with the duty manager to my satisfaction and paid by credit card with receipt.

Rosslea Hall Hotel was the perfect choice for our stay, especially with our dog. The location, close to the beach, offered stunning scenery and fantastic walks, with plenty to see and do nearby. The hotel itself was beautiful, with friendly and welcoming staff who couldn’t have been more helpful. Our room was lovely, featuring tasteful decor, great facilities, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of cooked dishes, fresh fruit, pastries, and cereals – a truly delightful experience!
One thing to be aware of is the nearby church, which chimes every half hour and on the hour. While it adds character to the area, light sleepers may want to keep this in mind. It didn’t affect our overall fantastic experience, but it’s good to know in advance!

What a stay! Absolutely amazing - a beautiful hotel, room and couldn't of been more accomodating. John at reception was exceptional, so welcoming. The evening staff and breakfast staff were equally helpful. The breakfast was amazing. This stay was definitely great value. Our room was very spacious, had all we required. Towels - huge, fluffy and the shower great!
Nothing - highly recommend. If you are a light sleeper the bells of the church are there through the night in some rooms but the hotel will provide ear plugs if you ask and they are in discussion with the church to reach a compromise. DO NOT BE PUT OFF BY THIS THE HOTEL IS AMAZING!!

Full cooked breakfast was excellent. Had the accessible room which was nicely decorated.
Bathroom in the accessible room was a bit tired and tiled floor a bit grotty. The bedside lights had clear glass 'shades' which rendered the lights blindingly bright not only at eye level but from anywhere in the room. Opaque shades would be much better all round. We resorted to only using the small 'picture' light above the desk, which was the only other light in the bed area leaving us with a choice of 'very dim' or 'blinding'.

The hotel is in a quiet location just out of Helensburgh. It was a pleasant surprise and our welcome was warm and friendly. Our room was on the second floor and was comfortable and a good size. The rooms have had a makeover (except for the bathroom) and are smart and relaxing. The bed was of a good size. We ate in the dining room; although we could have eaten from the same menu in the bar area. The food was good; both in the evening and at breakfast time. There was a large car-park to the rear of the hotel.
Service during our evening meal was a bit slow and at one stage I had to go and find our server as I'd almost finished my meal before my drink arrived. The room bathroom was a little dated and the shower quite small.

I like the bar, and I like being able to have bar meals, a good menu. I liked being able to watch the Olympics in the bar. I liked our room (suite) fantastic view
There was some problem in the kitchen so it caused a long delay in waiting for dinner, although the bar staff dealt with this very politly and offered us a free desert. Breakfast was very nice although the buffet was very sparse, particularly juices, bread for toast and pastries. Again the staff were very friendly but I feel their training is lacking as they were a bit disorganized with serving tea/ coffee and taking orders

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was lovley , the rooms are very spacious and clean. And the gentleman on reception on Tuesday morning very helpful and friendly.
The key cards for the room didn't work each time we left the room we had to go to reception to have them reprogrammed. The lady on reception said it was because it was next to the mobile phone but mines was in my jeans pocket. And waited on someone coming to the reception each time as it was not covered on the Monday.
