Staff. I don’t recall the name but both who managed the check-in and check-out reflected the true of customer services. The whole staff tried to help

The property is clearly well maintained, it was immaculate as I entered and this continued into the room as well. I stayed in room 308 which was perfect, it even had a balcony which was a huge highlight! I’ve never travelled alone like this before so comfort and safety was a huge priority. I was greeted by Maria who helped me check-in and directed to me the small but efficient lift (life saver). I mentioned I needed to buy different clothes (I was stuck in work clothes and needed casual) but was apprehensive about walking back through Hyde park in the evening on my own. Straight away Maria told me about the shops down on the high street. I picked up some new bargain trainers and a good value sweater, and some food from a cute food court (gave underground Tokyo street food vibes). There’s a sainsburys nearby as well if you want some basics. Great code entry after 7pm which made me feel extra comfortable, and I chilled with the balcony doors open on the bed for the evening. The bed was more comfortable than the one I have at home, the linen was good quality, the carpet was thick and (almost) completely stain free. The shower was clean, and a great size, with near instant hot water from the tap and shower. The bottled water lasted me all night, and the tv was decent too. Without a doubt I feel absolutely thrilled to have found this gem of a hotel. It isn’t about all the extras, but it does do ā€˜essential’ REALLY well. So well in fact it didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything. The locker storage was an added bonus, however this is first come first served. There is a handy little alternative that you can look into on the app if you miss out though!

My ONLY feedback (and it is a little vain) but even in a compact room like mine, there were at least 3 spaces a full length mirror could have been fitted. It’s a tiny detail. Whilst the bathroom mirror was generous I had no idea if my shoes went with the length of my jeans.

I had such a lovely stay. My solo room was small, functional and had everything I needed. With amazingly kind staff, perfect location, SUPER clean rooms and a lovely simple breakfast, I will definitely be back.

I just hope they will change the matrices soon, it did give me some discomfort in the morning.

I had a two night stay at Sonder for my short vacation after a week long of business meetings and attending a work conference in the City. Checking into Sonder after a week long of staying at the conference venue, I was immediately put to ease right from the door. The lounge area to your left has a homely feeling. The carpeted corridors felt like I was right back in my own house. I stayed at one of the smaller accommodations with a twin bed- and it is tiny by many hotel room standards yet very comfortable for European standards. I enjoyed my little desk facing Victoria Street and the shower while tight was very cozy. The place is right across Kensington Gardens and an ideal 53 minute walk to the city if you fancy that. There’s also lots of activities to see and do around- from shopping to tea at the Oriental Mandarin Hotel a few minutes up the road.

On my first night, I would have loved to have water in the room- even if in a jar. Also, no one told me while checking in that the cleaning is not done daily- I went out and returned to an unmade bed. I typically make my bed in the morning when I know the hotel cleaning is not done daily. I was also not informed that there’s breakfast on the premise and only learned about it on the day I was departing. I think the place can do with more communication to your guests to compliment the pleasant property.

Easy to access. Large room. Nice location, good transport links. Didn't use the lounge, but nice to have the option! App was really easy to use when I had a question re check-out. Very clean and well-maintained.

Shower water pressure was poor, not a deal breaker but disappointing. The room was really hot, the ceiling fan didn't do much! The windows only open 10cm (understandable safety measure). Small point but would prefer a chair with a back, for the desk, than a stool! Bed wasn't the most comfortable, but not the worst I've encountered.

Truly beyond the price. location, cleanliness it was the staff at this particular location. I am traveling alone and the people who work here are seemingly better at hospitality then many 5 star hotels I’ve visited around the world. I was taken aback by my initial encounter by her kindness. So impressed with her I thought perhaps a fluke. ā¤ļø a one of. But to my delight every single staff person was above beyond kind and helpful. Kudos to the hiring and management for training these exceptional people. London was cold and quite miserable otherwise šŸ˜‚

I had to change my own bedsheets

Loved the breakfast. Good selection of fruit and breads with some cheeses and vegetables. The coffee machine and fresh squeezed orange juice machine were highlights. Great location near bus stops, Hyde Park, museums and Kensington High Street. You can take the Piccadilly Line from Heathrow. It was a little confusing navigating the walk to the hotel from the station but once I figured it out, it was fine. If you have a lot of luggage, I would recommend a taxi from Gloucester station. If you are taking the train to Europe or other parts of Britain, it's easy to get to Kings Cross/St.Pancras from Gloucester Station and there is a Waitrose supermarket at the station if you want to get travel snacks or a meal to go.

The bed was very squishy and not supportive. My room was very small and had sloped ceilings so I hit my head every time I looked in the full length mirror.

I love the Kensington area - very beautiful. Plenty of little bars, restaurants, shops and beautiful park in a short walking distance. Public transport is also very accessible bc bus stations and underground is also quite close by so you can easily travel anywhere to the city. Loved that the hotel was located on quiet street a bit away from the main one. And the room was suprisingly very spacious comparing to other hotels we've stayed in London before. Also the room was very cozy and warm!

Since we stayed for 4 nights, it would have been nice if the room was cleaned at least for once when we were there (changed sheets or something). Breakfast could use more options (for example some choice of ham/sausage/eggs or something like that). Otherwise we were full but more options would be nice.

Such great value for money. The staff on site were extremely helpful, polite and efficient. Room was clean, had everything you would need. If needed more milk, tea bags they were located on the first floor. Small Lift available if you can't do the stairs. One thing I would mention is that if you use a cpap machine, no socket beside bed in my single room so bit taunt. Must admit I didn't ask if they had an extension lead I could borrow. It has highlighted to ask in future. No hairdryer in room 205 that I noticed but friend had one in her double room. I found bed comfy and was very snug. All said and done I would 100% recommend staying here. Ideal for Royal Albert hall, museums, South Kensington etc. Near to buses & tubes all in walking distance. Would definitely use again

Perhaps hairdryer in room 205, unless I missed it. No socket by bed

I booked two bedrooms, one for myself (single room) and one double for my friends. The bathroom of the single room was an extremely small, specially the bath area. It was small compared to ā€œEuropean standards ā€œ. Overall the hotel was good, they have a nice breakfast and clean facilities. I would like them to add an option to house keeping for more the 4 days for examples. We stayed 7 days. I would stay again but in the double bedroom .
