We were greeted by a lovely young man. Room and en suite were very clean. The breakfast room was very small to accommodate the number of people who had booked in. cleanliness was good and there was a good variety of food on offer for the European breakfast offered.

The second bed requested was a very hard sofa bed. I did request a ground floor because I have very severe issues with my knees, but we were given a room on the first floor. The breakfast room was very small to accommodate everyone booked in. But this is advised on the website. We would have liked to linger over breakfast but we couldn’t as others needed to have their breakfast.

Great location and only a 15min walk from Leicester Square and 20mins walk from Kings Cross Station. The hotel had lovely decor and the rooms are nice. Staff could have been a bit friendlier but not an issue.

Couldn’t shut the bathroom door as it didn’t fit in the frame unless you lifted it to close, difficult and not great when you need the toilet or privacy when in a couple. Sink bottom was hanging off. Bathroom was clean where it should be but there were dirty splashes on the bathroom door from other guests. Detailed cleaning needs focusing on.

The room had everything I needed for a one night stay. It felt very safe for a single woman and the area in which it is located is well lit. It was convenient to the meeting I was attending at UCL. A breakfast was available. The room was clean. There were two power points near the bed, so great for recharging my phone and a second device at the same time.

The bathroom was ridiculously small but with an oversized shower cubicle. I am very short, and my knees were under the sink when I sat on the toilet. I don't know how a tall man would have coped in this space. The room safe did not work and there were no instructions on how to use it. There is no wardrobe, only 3 wall hooks with hangers, so OK for one night but not for longer stays. There is very limited space for suitcases and no place to set up a laptop computer. I would not recommend this room for longer stays. I would have loved a full English breakfast, but cooked breakfasts were not available.

It was easy to walk to from the dominion theatre where I went to watch sister act, it had a healthy breakfast option and cold water to refill unlimited. Everything was clean and tidy and all the staff were very friendly and I would definitely stay here again.

The room was very warm inside and I feel that the air fon could have been a bit better. There is no lift in the hotel, which made it very tiring when going downstairs and back up from getting water downstairs and made me feel warm.

Bed and pillows very comfy. Loved the tall window and high ceilings. Shortbread biscuits in the room were lovely. Location was very handy to Goodge Street tube station and the neighbourhood felt safe after dark walking home.

More towel hooks/bars are needed in the washroom. The flip up bedside table could be larger so I could more easily sit on the bed to use it as a desk for my laptop- had to perch on the edge of the bed to reach. Perhaps switch to "fake" milk only for the coffee and tea supplies in the room - I was afraid to use real milk that had been sitting at room temperature for hours.

The location was superb and they made the best use of the space available. The breakfast was nice and refreshing to have healthier options. Staff were lovely and helpful. It was very clean as well, and the little kettle and biscuits in the room were much appreciated.

As others have said (incl the man who woke me at 5:38am shouting at the receptionist!), the room was very hot on arrival and there was no air con or window I could open. I drew the curtains and this reduced the heat; later on, I left the bathroom door open as the vent seemed to be working to remove some of the heat. I get cold quite easily so it didn’t bother me as much at night, but if you’re warm-blooded, not the best place for you. The space was incredibly small but for the price and a place to sleep with a safe roof over my head not far from my workplace, it was perfect.

Great location for the price. I had all I wanted: a small quiet room, own bathroom and breakfast, in Bloomsbury. A mix of international travellers, families and couples as well as single travellers. Staff were friendly and helpful. This is about as cheap as you can go without a shared bathroom or bunk beds (the horror!), and believe me, I've done the research.

Not really a criticism but a note for other guests: if you don't like room deodoriser, be careful where you sit in the breakfast room :-) I sat in front of an automated squirting device without realising and wondered where the smell was coming from. If you expect hotel rooms to be massive or if you require a lift (elevator), this isn't for you.

I booked last minute. Single room with en-suite. I loved my little room. The cleanliness was exceptional, bed, facilities in my room and the complimentary charging adapter in my room was a welcomed surprise. I was very comfortable here. Staff were very polite. I had a breakfast in the morning which met my needs. Would 100% stay again. Well done

What is great about this hotel is the location. Just behind Tottenham Court Road is great for my work. And also this property has been slowly updating itself over the past year so if you booked here before 2023 and thought the place wasn't so fresh then it might just be worth giving it another chance. The reception and hall ways have been redecorated and fresh carpets throughout the communal areas. Plus the reception ladies are super nice!

I didn't try the breakfast but I understand its continental only. Also thre are no lifts, thats OK for me but less able people might not like the 3rd floor room locations.

Close to all the different destinations. Lots of enjoyable walking done e.g. Camden Town. Breakfast was fine. Go early to get a table. Rooms was quiet. Kept the window open at night. Excellent TV. Shower was fine for us. Enough room for luggage etc.

If we had been heavier the shower would have been practically impossible. My nose was 10cm.from the wall and I'm really skinny. No place for shampoo etc. Bending down was really difficult in this tiny shower. The water flow was great though.
