This is a lovely place for a stopover. We stayed Two nights with our dog and she was welcomed in the attached pub. The room was spacious with all the conveniences you'd expect. Beds were Ok. The attached pub does food, which we found a little expensive, but there are takeaways literally over the road and a supermarket very close nearby. Also ideal for local buses as there is a stop close by. Very close to the Aire & Calder Navigation which is a beautiful place to walk the dog. The breakfast is good, with plenty of choice. This is good value for money and an ideal spot for a short stay in Yorkshire.
The single bed in our room was not the most comfortable, it's OK for a couple of nights though.

The breakfast was great. Lots of choice from the standard pub menu and the option to go for a larger size or add on extras for the relevant charge. Massive cups of coffee get a thumbs up from us. For our family, this was a perfect set up of five rooms - all sharing a courtyard. All rooms - a and a great choice of room types - were well equipped (iron and board/coffee machine/kettle/hairdryer/radio/TV/WiFi) and en suite.
For us the WiFi was not a great signal and dropped regularly - not an issue as we had phone signals to compensate and we were in the area for a family wedding so didn't spend lots of time needing to get online.

Great location and dog friendly, with a park just round the corner. The room was clean with a nice ensuite. The electric sockets also had usb chargers and there were electrical sockets by the bed which are both useful. Also a lovely idea having a coffee machine in the room. Breakfast was a good size, except for the miniscule pot of baked beans! Parking is free but gets busy on the weekend
The step up to the shower was slightly awkward and the hot tap was far too hot. The WiFi signal was very poor. The vegetarian breakfast was basic with little choice of alternatives

The pub and coffee shop were always busy and welcoming. The stables accommodation are pretty buildings, comfortably tucked around the back of the pub. The staff were great, the food was good, and I had everything I needed for the stay.
I guess my only complaint would be hearing staff outside the rooms in the mornings but I also enjoyed hearing them singing while they worked!! The WiFi was a bit iffy so I had to hotspot my own phone connection to work……

This is a community pub with individual rooms in a small courtyard behind the main building. The rooms are small but comfortable, with everything you need although there was no information about wifi and the phone signal on O2 and Vodafone was almost non-existent in the room. There is plenty of parking space although the car park is strewn with rubbish. The pub is on a fairly busy crossroads, but the rooms are setback so although there is road noise, it's not too intrusive. Meals are served in the main pub building, which operates as a cafe in the mornings with lots of people coming in for breakfast and coffee. The staff are excellent and very friendly. There are lots of options for breakfast and it is very well-cooked.
Lack of wifi and the shower cubicle could do with some mould treatment.

The room was well appointed and cosy, with all necessary amenities as well as an iron and ironing board, and a coffee pod machine. The bathroom was warm and practical with complimentary toiletries. Breakfast each morning was delicious and quick, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in and out was straightforward and overall we had a really lovely stay - I especially liked that the rooms are separate from the pub, so it felt very cosy and tranquil.
Nothing, I have no complaints - the accommodation offered exactly what it promised and met our needs just fine.

Old building but with modern accommodation
Car parking- people who parked old bangers on double space also no respect! A truck turn up attempted to leave it on car park for a pint. Accommodation - I notice trades men failed to wear rubber glove when access into loft left dirty marks. Shower is not suitable for elderly or disabled person as it is too high to step up! Gravel yards- unstable to walk on for elderly or disabled person

In a small stable cottage consisting of bedroom and nice neat shower room. Was brilliant for us as no stairs to carry our items up. Even had a coffee machine. Staff where very helpful in all respects. Even getting a family member to move one of their cars to fit ours in. In my eyes that is exceptional service, going beyond expectations. Nice friendly pub (which also served meals) for a few drinks before bed. Rooms were lovely and quiet. Nice choice of breakfast the morning after with a wide time span.
Nothing.

Fantastic breakfast. Quiet as not inside the pub. The rooms had tea and coffee facilities, Smart TV. We ate at the pub and it was a good, reasonably priced meal. Staff were friendly and there was ample room at the car park. Room was cold but heated up very quickly when radiator turned on.
The bed was smaller than I was used to (I have a king size). The blinds let light in so could have done with some blackout curtains. Only one bedsode table and access to a lamp, if you're both readers you need to put the main light on.

Beautiful room with private enterence and bathroom. It is a super cute building with a little courtyard and seating outside the room. Beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a night away! Breakfast in the morning was fantastic! The staff were all great, welcoming and friendly! I will definitely be visiting again!
I think because of the age of the building and the thickness of the walls there was no phone signal for phone calls or phone internet in the room. I did get signal when I sat outside though and it is worth not having signal for the night when it is such as beautiful room
