We were treated so well from start to finish. It was a huge bonus that my husband was a Marriott Rewards member as we were given a complimentary drink on arrival and voucher to use the rooftop bar. We ate breakfast, which was decent but a fair few of the options available had run low/out and weren't replenished which isn't ideal before 10 am. We were in town for a wedding and stopped by the bar for a bucks fizz/mimosa but as they were out of glasses we were also given these on the house! Overall a comfortable, quiet room with the right amount of attentiveness. Location was perfect too! Would highly recommend

Halloween decorations everywhere. Not that I'm against the decorations but they were a little tacky rather than tasteful

Room, Cleanliness. i will difinitelly stay in that Hotel once again.

We had issue with Toilets, they changed after this our room, but still, we was not comfortable, because, we mentioned that every room had same problem. I'm traveling a lot of and this kind of problem I only had in this hotel. And As I understand, they have same problem very often because, when I explained problem, they already knew about it and said what was the solution. as it seems, in that moment, they had another room with the same problem, because, whe i asked to change the room, they said that oh, we have one free room but as it seems, there is also same problem,. finally they changed room. other things was really great,

Lovely atmosphere, we got a welcome cocktail, food, games etc. Really comfy bed.

Breakfast wasn't great.

Our stay was exceptional! The hotel was amazing, with super friendly staff and a great location. On the second day of our stay, we discovered that the heating system in our room wasn’t working and informed the managers. Within minutes, they offered us another room (along with help moving our belongings!) and complimentary drinks at the bar as an apology. While we didn’t end up using the drink vouchers, it was a thoughtful gesture, and we truly appreciated their efforts!

There’s only one tiny suggestion for improvement — perhaps adding a small chest of drawers and a mini fridge

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who made me feel right at home. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the modern amenities I could ask for. The hotel’s atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxing, creating the perfect balance. The location was ideal, close to everything I wanted to see and do. I truly felt pampered throughout my entire stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience!

The lobby with all the games were brilliant. Cocktails in both the downstairs and rooftop bar were lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. Excellent location, quiet street, but 5 minute walk and you are on the main road with lots of restaurants and bars.

I was under the impression that there was a gym, but it's a small room with a few workout equipment. Room service also never topped up the tea/coffee in the room or changed the glasses and mugs. Whilst for breakfast there were vegan and gluten free options, there was nothing vegan and gluten free. Therefore we didn't pay for breakfast. (There's loads of options in the area anyway.)

The room was very comfortable and clean and I really enjoyed the breakfast. The location worked out well for me because it was a short walk to the Haymarket train station, and a relatively short and pleasant walk to the castle and other attractions. We also found a very good Mediterranean/pizza restaurant near the hotel.

I was disappointed to have only a slightly dismal interior courtyard view from my bedroom. I didn't spend much time in the room, but that made me feel a little claustrophobic. I usually enjoy being able to look out upon a street or something.

Moxy Hotel truly made my weekend in Edinburgh unforgettable! It’s just a short stroll to all the places I wanted to explore, like the castle, the charming Old City, Murrayfield Stadium, and museums like the National Gallery. The hotel was spotless, and our room felt spacious and cosy, making it a great spot to unwind. Each morning, we indulged in breakfast, and I must say, the spread was delicious and offered something for everyone's taste buds! We also had great fun in the evening with the boarding games freely available in the lobby/bar area on the ground floor

I liked everything about the Moxy Hotel, so I can't say anything against it.

The hotel was in a great location and the bus stop outside was extremely useful.the decoration was great and the employees were kind and helpful.

Now regarding the room, there were no amenities like toothpaste kits or disposable slippers etc. Additionally i did not quite understand the reason for which there was no phone in the room, we had t get downstairs every time that we needed something like an extra towel. By the way when one afternoon i went and ask fr extra small towel the receptionist told me that she will bring it her self to our room, when she arrived two big towels unfolded like there where taken straight frm the laundry arrived and of course we have not used them. Furthermore ,breakfast was not included eve-though the price was 200 e / night .

I liked the hotel it’s self and a room, and it’s location. It was easy to get to the city centre by taxi.

It was strange for me when a lady at the reception denied me the booked and paid room, in spite of the fact that we arrived at the hotel in the late afternoon. She couldn’t tell me when our room would be ready. I tried to explain her that we had a long trip and we were extremely tired. She asked me to wait on the side. At that time other guests could get their room’s key by their request. After 10 minutes, I decided to ask one more time the key and she gave it to me without any explanation. It looked very strange for me, why did she acted like that? The second note is the cutlery for breakfast was dirty, with food on it and some glasses had traces of lipstick.
