This is the second time I’ve stayed at this property and the service was fantastic yet again. The staff are friendly and always happy to help as I am visually impaired. The rooms are very clean and room service was fantastic. The facilities at the hotel are great, including the bar, food and reception as easy. Only facilities are used but colleagues use the gym and said it was also great. The hotel is located in a fantastic Location close to local attractions and amenities. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Thank you very much

I recently had a blissful three-night stay in my hometown, staying at the Delta Marriott at Five Ways. All of the staff were a pleasure to deal with throughout my stay. The reception and engineering staff were excellent at helping me when I had a very minor issue with overhead noise in my room on the first night, and the housekeeping ladies were doing wonderful work whenever I saw them. Other highlights of my stay included my upgrade, the spaciousness of my room, the big windows and lovely views, having a good (big) desk to work at, the cleanliness of all areas, and the insulation that made my room magically quiet even though it overlooked Five Ways Island! Thank you to all for a truly delightful stay!

The rooms here are always beautiful, the beds are exceptionally good and you can’t fault the cleanliness.

When we came back from our night out, (five of us) my friends from 320 and us from 202! The night porter did not ask what rooms we were in but then proceeded to call our room demanding to know why there were five of us in my room! I felt accused and made to look infantile. This is unacceptable, we are not youngsters sneaking friends back for free accommodation we are all adults who have paid to stay in a good hotel, which I’ve stayed at probably 50 times over the years. But will probably not stay in again, because I felt insulted by a member of your team.

Warm and greeting staff, clean and lovely room with comfortable bed. Catering all needs. We were truly well taken care of. All our best to the staff for the effort of making us feel welcome as we were traveling for difficult reasons and with heavy hearts.

To pick something, the breakfast was bit blend to have for a whole week but tolerable. Could be useful to offer variety between jams, bread or fruits through the week, it would not be wasted food. Maybe it was us not having the appetite.

The room was excellent. I have stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions and the rooms are always very good. They are very spacious and airy. The same can be said for the bathroom too. I am usually coming to Birmingham either for an event at the University of Birmingham or for a cricket match, and the location of this hotel is perfect for my purposes.

On this occasion I felt that the breakfast room could have been a bit better organized, it was quite congested. The food was very good though. It was disappointing that last orders at the bar was at 11.00pm. It was Edgbaston Test Match cricket weekend and it would have been nice to have been able to have been served a bit later.

This hotel has a lot of character and fits Marriott's standards well. The rooms are well-maintained, and the hotel is extremely clean. The hotel location was ideal, with tram, metro, and bus stations in the direct surroundings. I also appreciated the flexibility demonstrated by the hotel staff. We had to shorten our stay and leave one day earlier for London. They accommodated my demand with no additional charges—a pleasant experience.

Breakfast could be improved with more choices and better quality food. We shouldn't ask for things to be refilled when empty; staff should be proactive and do it before it gets noticed.

Superior room was spacious, clean and fully stocked to include a lovely 2 seater sofa. Bathroom was big with great lighting for make up! Slept very well, mattress was comfortable and pillows were thick and fluffy. There was a coffee machine and a kettle with a good stock of teas and coffees. Property was next to Morrisons and more importantly, the tram that will take you straight into Birmingham Central.

Breakfast. For an extra £14 price upon check-in, I could’ve gone across to Costas or even Morrisons for a better selection

We regularly stay at the Marriott in Edgbaston, maybe 12 nights so far this year, we like the rooms, location and staff service - especially the front desk, Wictoria & the team. Its super clean and generally very well maintained (efficient and friendly housekeeping team!) The parking is easy and its well located for the rest of the City. Unlike most hotels in Birmingham the Marriott has really good sized rooms and is relatively quiet, its become our go-to as it delivers on nearly everything we look for.

Minor thing but mgmt cost-cutting doesn't compliment the brand, like just one bottle / can of water for two guests even in superior rooms (none in others) ...and even this is not always available. Illy coffee machines ...but no coffee pods any longer...its nice to be welcomed by a lit room with TV & HVAC running but would rather save on the utilities and spend on the little details that improve the stay experience.

Absolutely perfect hotel, not one thing could have been improved on. We make the trip every year as a girls weekend and we usually stay at another hotel but it was fully booked and we specifically wanted a room where all 4 of us could stay together so thought we would try this hotel. We were a little worried about parking as a lot of reviews said limited parking but there was plenty of parking, we had no problem getting a space even when we kept going out. The hotel itself is gorgeous, well decorated and maintained giving a very luxurious feel. The room was extremely spacious and clean, the aircon/heating worked well and the pillows for the beds were comfortable - I usually bring my own pillow because I have issues sleeping on others but I didn’t even need to use my own. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room, a large tv which got a lot of channels. The bathroom was clean and spacious, with all toiletries supplied. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, we couldn’t fault the hotel at all. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice (full English, fresh fruit, cereals and pastries) and a nice dining area. The location was perfect, close to the city centre but not noisy from the nightlife. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.
