The beach is close by(across the road and maybe 500 yards) but the hotel would be a perfect 10 if it was located on the beautiful sands of Surin Beach

Staff were absolutely wonderful. Location is great. 2 lovely pools and a gym to use. Excellent beds. Breakfast was a bit lacking in terms of freshness of baked goods, but otherwise an incredibly enjoyable stay. Will definitely stay with this wonderful team again.

Modern hotel. The room is modern and comfortable. We had the room with direct access to the pool. Location is good and only a short walk to the beach. The restaurant is good as well. To order anything you have to use the hotel app on your phone. Very friendly people at the reception.

The pool is a joke. Not deep enough for a good swim. The water only comes up to your waist.

The staff was incredibly thoughtful and kind. Beyond the regular greeting every time I encountered staff, they remembered me and things I had requested previously like cinnamon in my morning coffee. I was so glad the woman at check in suggested we add breakfast package and it got our mornings off to a great start. This hotel's location is great and secluded from the party side of town which when we traveled there, I was more appreciative of where we were staying.

It is not the fanciest hotel, but for the value, I really liked it. If you want to spend 5 times more money for a prettier hotel room you will only sleep in, you can find plenty in the area that charge way more for a fancy lobby.

They even recommended and helped us download their convenient app, which made our overall experience even more seamless and convenient. The rooms were spacious and provided a comfortable retreat for our family. The beds were exceptionally cozy, guaranteeing a good night's sleep for all. Throughout our stay, the housekeeping team maintained impeccable cleanliness, making us feel at ease and ensuring a pleasant environment for our family. One incident truly highlighted the exceptional care provided by the staff. On the last day of our stay, our son fell ill unexpectedly. The staff went above and beyond, guiding us in booking a hospital appointment and arranging a taxi to get us there promptly. Additionally, they kindly checked in on us, showing genuine concern for our well-being during a challenging time. Their support and assistance were immeasurable, relieving much of our stress. Upon departure, the entire staff came to say goodbye, adding a personal touch that left a lasting impression on our family. It was heartwarming to see their dedication and genuine care, making us feel like valued guests and part of the Outrigger Surin family. Everything was perfect!

Beautiful small boutique resort, we were also able to secure a last minute upgrade to a plunge pool suite which was very comfortable and private.

There was a lot of maintenance work happening in the front lobby area which was a bit noisy.

Excellent hotel with brilliant and helpful staff. Nothing was a problem for them. We were also shown the loft restaurant even though it was closed by one of the staff.

The service at this hotel was exceptional. Always friendly and willing to accomodate your every need. It’s very boutique and if you’re looking for some more liveliness then perhaps this isn’t your hotel or area. Surin beach is for chill, swim, reading books etc (basically recharge)and you can certainly do those things at Outrigger Surin. Special shout out to Ao and Matt who I dealt with mainly on reception. What amazingly friendly people you are!

Not much to be picky here. As I said it is a pretty quiet area so if you’re looking for vibes you’ll need to walk/taxi to Bang Tao beach about 2km north. A few day clubs there (carpe diem, the lazy coconut and catch). In my opinion the beach at Surin is much nicer and cleaner than Bang Tao.

- The hotel is located close to the beautiful Surin Beach which is more quiet and calm in comparison others in Phuket. - I interacted with the staff on a couple of ocasions and I was very satisfied with the how they dealt with me, it is clear they are hospitality professionals. - Generally the staff is very welcomming and attentive to customer needs. - I personally really liked the hotel's decor, vibe and environment. It is elegant, neat yet also fresh and young with its music and surfer vibes all mixed within a Thai world - loved it! - Breakfast was great.

- The hotel rooms have window shades which are not blackout so alot of light comes in from early morning (personal preference). - The bed mattress is good but has a mattress toper which is perhaps too soft (personal preference). - Our room's air conditioner made quiet a bit of noise.

The food is fabulous.
