I had an AMAZING TIME at Panupong hotel. I had initially planned to spend 2 nights there, but I extended my stay by 2 nights because I felt very confortable there. The hotel is very well located if you want to party and go out (nightclubs about 300m from the room). On the other hand, you have to expect noise all night long (you can hear clubs music until 4-5 am), so I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing stay. For me it wasn't a problem and was even an advantage. The staff are lovely, always smiling and very welcoming. They are available to answer any questions you may have. Rooms are very clean and contains everything you need (AC, fridge, even a balcony). I recommend this establishment 100% and will most probably return for a future stay in Samui.

Little insulation and the AC is a bit noisy, but you get used to it pretty quickly. It clearly didn't ruin my stay. The only negative point was having to leave this place ...

location was in the heart of Chaweng and close to all the bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Everything is walking distance from the hotel. You still need a scooter to go around the island though. The staff were lovely and helpful with everything I need or requested.

It gets quite loud every night because of the music nearby, so if you are expecting to have peace and quiet, this is not the place.

Location was extremely central would recommend for young travelers the staff were so helpful and friendly the property was spotless and the housekeeping staff were on hand to help at all times

Very loud there was a few nights we didn’t go out and the proximity to the clubs and airport made it hard to sleep recommend ear plugs if your a light sleeper

I don’t get the negative reviews about the noise… The hotel is perfectly located right in the middle of the nightlife scene. As a result, it is loud at night which is completely normal. This is something that a pair of decent earplugs would immediately resolve. The room was also spacious and clean.

The bed was squeaking and the AC was also loud (not that it mattered). The things in the room in general were pretty old.

2 minute walk to the high street. You are provided with free water, tea/ coffee and treats. Your room also gets made and the bed is big and comfortable.

Was very noisy as it is next door to nightclubs. Also you have to put the key in the wall for the air con to turn on, so it only works when you are inside the room and takes a while to get cool.

Unlucky, I was assigned to the room with old air-conditioning. It was crying too loud with Gag Gag Gag sound throughout the night. I cannot sleep with that, so I turn it off and sleep with that hot temperature. No staff at night, I found no one to help fixing it or at least changing the room. I informed staff when check out, they look like the owner or manager not to let anyone staying in this room. For my case, there was no compensation at all.

The staffs were friendly. The room was very clean. The location alao was great, you could find many local restaurants and bars around. We extended our stay for more three nights, because we were truly happy with everything.

The bathroom was a bit outdated. I wish they had hairdryer on the bathroom as well.

The staff were incredibly kind and allowed us to extend our stay at a discounted rate. Room is serviced daily with fresh water and toiletries. Very central location.

The music from the nearby clubs is loud at night but it didn’t disturb our sleep too much!

It is right next to the Chaweng street and very cheap for what you get. They clean your room every day, you can rent a scooter and you have everything you need. The room isn't super modern, but you cannot really expect more for that price.

If you are looking for a relaxing holiday this hotel isn't for you because you can hear the loud music until 4 am. Lamai beach is the better option then.

Panupong Hotel was great! It’s in a very central location in Chaweng just one minute from Central Samui & close to the nightlife areas as well! Perfect for walking around & also very clean. Staff were incredibly friendly & they also provided drinking water & coffee :) Would recommend if you are looking to stay right in the heart of the bustling Chaweng city vibe for a few nights!
