The location was amazing especially if you are into a bit of the chaos from the bars and pubs but the resort is perfectly located that you wouldn't even be able to hear the chaos for the main strip. The part that this resort has on Chaweng beach as well is perfect - crystal clear and blue. And the buffet was amazing with great service from the omelette chef.

People wake up early and then reserve the sun loungers. This shouldn’t be allowed. I ended up going to other resorts because loungers all used / reserved

excellent hotel with spacious rooms, most of which are in the form of bungalows with an excellent location inside, a large area, extremely modernly furnished, especially several of the newest buildings that are run at an executive level. Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff who you can turn to at any time and immediately receive truly first-class care. The place is wonderful, the beach is great on one side, the sea on the other side, central on a city street but with enough distance so that you don't hear absolutely any noise, as if you were in an Oasis. I highly recommend it to everyone, even to people who have higher demands. The place is excellent and wonderful for a vacation, just two minutes from the largest center, which includes a shopping complex, restaurants and cafes. And the main street itself has countless cafes, restaurants, massage studios and all kinds of necessary things, including mini markets almost at the entrance to the hotel, extremely convenient and great for a vacation and spending your vacation.

The personel was very helpfull and always kind especially Miss Anna from the reception desk! She helped us change rooms when we had trouble with very noisy neighbours. She also arranged breakfast boxes for us when we had an early flight in the morning. The location of this hotel is excellent! It's near the beach and shopping district of Chaweng. It's a very beautiful hotel and area. We enjoyed having breakfast with view at the sea.

Lots of mosquitos in the hotel and rooms. Also breakfast could use some more variation especially for vegetarians. We also saw a couple of shirtless guys wandering around the breakfast area which was unhygienic and gross. However nobody of the staff said anything about it. Hotel should be stricter about this.

Large size, clean with all needed amenities. Large bathroom. Comfortable bed and good pillow selection. Despite being near the main street room was very quiet.

Not enough chairs by the pool and people putting a towel on a chair to "hold" it despite the staff advising and signage posting this is not to be done. Staff were abused when trying to enforce. This system needs to be reviewed to support hte staff and guests.

Amazing location and resort! The staff are amazing! Extremely customer focused, polite and always smiling! The reception is well organized and Tum & Tum are wonderful! The restaurant and beach team are amazing and so friendly! Pui and the rest of the team will fix anything for you! If it’s a drink on the beach, a parasol or a bite to eat! Always with a smile and a laugh! It has been our 3rd holiday at Chaweng and our 2nd stay at Baan Chaweng Beach Resort. The recent renovations are great and they will be revamping some of the villas soon too! If your looking for a fun but relaxing place on Chaweng beach this is the one!

Nothing really, but you have to accept the fact that Chaweng beach is a popular spot on Koh Samui and there can be music on the beach until quite late but not at the resort. There is also the fact that the airport is close by, but that is the same for all the hotels here. Flights do not start until around 08:00 but it didn’t bither us

Excellent beach, close to all the shops, Thai owned and operated so lovely friendly helpful staff, very good buffet breakfast. Big room size. Big bathroom with good natural light during the day. Shower pressure ok and warm water that didn't run out during shower.

Under flight path (during the day... I think first flight no earlier than 8am and last flight about 9pm). Very hard beds (mattress topper provided after request). No USB/power point charger, near bed (it is near desk opposite wall~3-4m away). Room windows with block out curtains face thoroughfare, so dark room during the day if you want privacy, or have to turn lights on. Mosquitos just outside room, so one must have mosquito repellent spray. Sometimes mosquitos in room after room service because room doors are left open during housekeeping duties. Wardrobe in bathroom rather than in bedroom. No hooks in bathroom for towel hanging (I used towel rail).

The location was great, the beach was clean in comparison to others nearby. Definitely worth the money in that aspect.

The bed was very hard and the pillows were also like rocks and so thick. It was not comfortable. Also there is only one plug in the room. Which is very inconvenient. Also be aware of the mosquitos. I was bitten many times in the room. The breakfast was repetitive. I am a big fan of pancakes and they weren’t fresh, maybe store bought. One staff member in particular stood out to me which was Keng, he was very polite and helpful always. However, Bao who worked in the restaurant also was very rude and obnoxious. There were many occasions in which he ignored us and pretended not to hear us asking for help.

Baan Chaweng Beach Resort is perfectly located: right in the middle of buzzing Chaweng but far enough away from the street and the beach clubs to offer you peace and quiet most of the time. Staff is impeccable and super friendly, food is very good! We spent a week here and then moved to a 5* resort further up north and regretted our decision - next time we will stay here the entire time because we loved it.

Fellow tourists hovering over the beach beds from 7.30h on is quite annoying but there’s not much the hotel can do.

My wife and I have stayed in 11 different hotels in 3 different countries in 21 days. Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa was one of the Top 3 Hotels during our Asia Tour. The location of the hotel is really convenient. Chaweng Beach is really relaxing and the water is peaceful. We enjoyed the hotel and the breakfast was amazing. You can enjoy nice cocktails (Coconut Rum was my favourite- half-price during Happy Hour) on the beach directly at the hotel. The beach was always clean. We got even a free room upgrade from the hotel (honeymoon after Corona). The hotel staff is always kind and helpful. We arranged all the transfers through reception.

Two restaurants are located on two sides of the hotel. The ventilation of the restaurants is working almost all day until 22:00 o'clock. It is a humming noise, but still possible to sleep. Not a holiday killer.
