Brilliant location and great host. Bangkok is huge and one if the great modes of transportation is the river boat. The guest house is located 100 meters from the pier (and it is one of the piers that is used by all the Express boat lines (which means more frequent services). As a bonus transportation option, the guest house is on a canal, and practically in front is the terminal of the canal boat that takes one (free) all the way to Chinatown. Amazing fish, meat and produce market just in front of the guest house, and endless food options all around. Great little neighborhood night market every night around 300 meters away, and 7/11 50 meters from the guest house. Oldtown neighborhood with few tourists and delightful atmosphere. I will risk saying, that if one spends 2-3 days just walking around this neighborhood, one might see and learn more about Bangkok than in many days running around. Host is totally fluent in English and extremely helpful. I absolutely loved my stay. Thanks Phil.

Great location (for us)! close to market and Canal. Comfortable bed, air con and tasteful and charming interior. Staff was very friendly, we stayed just one night. There is filtered water that one can take and there is a small kitchen, which the family that lives there uses podcasts can also use for simple stuff like using the microwave.

There are quite a lot of narrow stairs and everything is quite small and tight. The Machinery from the Aircon is right outside the door on the balcony, so if you turn off the Aircon at night there is quite some noise and rumbling for a while which made it hard to fall asleep. The bathroom missed so for the hands, we took the shower gel, which is okay but could be improved.

A really cozy and convenient to connect with public boat or other transportations and feel safe enough for a lady to travel around neighborhood, sight seeing and taste great local foods nearby (with a really WOW view). I really recommend this place for solo or couples.

The place is quite small and the room is not included any desk for working. So it's not quite recommended for ppl who plan for a working trip.

Beautiful views out of my room (top floor) Great location, 3 minutes walk to the pier where you can catch boat public transport. NOTE: this place is not good for people with low level of fitness, the way up to the top floor is quite a hike, on narrow stairs!!

Could be cleaner, nice interior fragrance would be great!. The lady who checked me in didn´t speak any English which is a trouble if you have questions or need to explain how to access the front door (code), etc.

So so friendly owner and staff. We had a cozy nice room, perfect clean and well equiped. Good shower, very comfortable bed. We could use the kitchen with a big fridge, always drinking water and a new washing machine for free use and hang the washing on the rooftop. Nice local quarter with many cute restaurants and less touristic even If it's a short walk to Khao San Road. Thanks you so much, will definetly come back.

Very beautiful, clean, and quiet place with a cosy and homey atmosphere. Close to a pier from where you can get to some main tourist attractions. The hosts are attentive and lovely people. The only downside is that there is no metro around. I would definitely come back!

Great location. Big and comfortable beds. An amazing view from the room on the temple!

You have to go up a staircase to get to the room, which is a little inconvenient if you have to go up with big luggage. The staff helped us carry them up, which was very helpful.

A great location right next to Thewet Pier for trips by river taxi along the Chao Phraya River and to some of the top attractions in Bangkok including the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha, The guesthouse offers homely comfort in a quiet setting overlooking a canal, Thai temple and traditional market. Guests have use of a small kitchen and lounge on the ground floor.

It's a friendly 'home from home' so don't expect hotel service. The steep spiral staircase to the upper floor rooms might be challenging for some,

Comfortable rooms, very nice position next to the pier, many restaurants around. All the staff was always available and ready to solve any problem. Very nice stay, would come back!

Liked the location. Room comfortable enough. Stayed three nights, saw the owner once. Checked out on our own, no contact found in the back room. Felt a bit strange. Did enjoy our stay though.
