Location opposite Century City shopping mall loads places to eat there and Roundabout , we’re in superior deluxe which was room 1 nice big balcony only allowed one sunbed they said nice patio set , sun from morning to around 130 pm

No one showed us around if friend hadn’t we would not be aware of Inside 25 mt pool where you need to wear a cap, is outdoor pool not shown that either. Breakfast ok lady cooking omelettes was endless chops onions peppers tomatoes for each separate one We’re cheeses and meats but would like them to be under cover Also was often dropped off in front t of hotel , could do with a drop off instead it’s a parking space, the entrance is on a roundabout so a bit awkward when picking up etc

Liked the location, and being able to walk to Canal Walk. The restaurant staff were also AMAZING for breakfast.

The reception staff were a bit confused, my confirmation details on Booking.com did not match their records - they had my name wrong, thought I was staying solo, the rooms were dusty and the bathrooms weren't clean - tiles were brown and the silver rusty and still a lot of soap residue. One of the curtain rails fell down when we tried closing the curtain so we needed to fix that. We also needed to log into our own Netflix/Prime, etc accounts instead of the room account- noting that linking to the tv for the weekend would be an additional device on our subscription, so we ended up not using it and sticking to YouTube

The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was great. It was lovely to have the mall (Canal Walk) very close and it's amazing for running and walking. If you want to spend time at V&A Waterfront, factor in travel time of up to 40 mins during peak traffic time.

I initially didn't factor in the travel time to the V&A Waterfront but once I adjusted my timings to the morning and evening traffic jams it all worked out.

The breakfast was good. You had choices from cereal to english breakfast. Eggs were made on the spot to your choice, i.e., either fried, scrambled, boiled or even omelets. Fresh juice available too. The kitchen staff were very friendly and always ready to serve.

I loved everything about Island Club Hotel & Apartments! Every single staff member was beyond exceptional during my entire stay. They were very professional and displayed tremendous customer service. I arrived early and they stored my luggage while I visited the mall, they took my luggage to my room for me and brought me there in a gold cart upon check in. The suite was massive, clean, had beautiful views, and felt very safe. The breakfast was soooo delicious and had a wide variety, I was pleasantly surprised and very happy that I purchased the breakfast with my room. The breakfast staff greeted me every morning with a smile and was so helpful. The outdoor pool and surrounding area was absolutely beautiful and relaxing, and it was quite large. Bring something to lay on ands sit in the grass or grab a seat on the bench and enjoy the beauty of nature. The grounds were maintained very well, it was absolutely beautiful to walk through the property! I truly enjoyed staying here and would HIGHLY recommend for anyone visiting Cape Town.

The service from receptionist Chad was impeccable. The apartment was quite modern and had ample space. The kitchen, lounge, and bedrooms were lovely. Parking was conveniently right in front of the hotel. Everything was within walking distance of Canal Walk.

The only thing that was a bit of a disappointment was the hallway bathroom at the apartment. Since we arrived, the basin was blocked. The water in the shower hardly comes out. The bathroom needs a redo. It's a bit outdated and not properly maintained.

The location right in the Mall and the welcoming was exceptional

I like how we were welcomed at the hotel we received a hotel tour, the room was very comfortable and clean they also did a birthday setup for me😊, we arrived before check in but already our room was Ready breakfast was lovely. In short the staff was amazing. MrsP Ntuli

The fact that it's quite a distance to points of interest including a beach, also that they don't have a 24 restaurant in the facility

I was impressed by the service from the staff. They even have a welcome board with guests' names for when they check in which I thought was a special touch. It was nice seeing my name there. The property is ideally located, Canal Walk is literally across the bridge so incredibly easy to get to. The Century City Boulevard ha really improved, I had a lovely run down the canals, there are statues with explanations of the artwork. The breakfast was really good.

The rooms are a distance from the reception and even further from the gate (entrance). They do help to carry luggage which is helpful. Just be sure to carry flats if you wear heels as it is a distance to walk to the gate and the uber drivers wait outside as the security does not let them in the estate. You have to ask reception to tell the security to let the uber in but it's such a mission (due to miscommunication) that you would rather meet them outside.

The cold breakfast (chicken & ham) slices were tasteless. The warm bacon was hard, and the various sausages overcooked - on the whole the breakfast was not impressive and may have been so at the early start of breakfast but certainly not a hour or two later. Things had dried out, not much, if any attention given to keeping the offerings tasty.
