It was a superb hotel everything was excellent

We were there for 30th anniversary concierge emailed prior asking if any special occasion. I told explained it was our anniversary but they did absolutely nothing I would rather they had not wasted my time asking

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. We got upgraded to a suite without having extra charges and we were very pleased with that. The staff are all very nice and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent and we had a wonderful dinner at the Fountain Lounge, the crab cake there is delicious !

We were there during the Xmas holiday and the hotel lobby was packed with people. Unfortunately, there are a lot of non hotel guests there and they like to hang around and take pictures. We understand the hotel is very atmospheric and why people wants to come, but perhaps the management can do something to control the crowd so that it is more pleasant for hotel guests.

Room was spacious and very quiet. The bed was super comfortable. All very clean. The staff was extremely accommodating. The hotel was the place to be at Christmas for visitors and locals alike, with the entire block-long first floor decorated in Christmas trees , lights, tinsel, the works. Great latte/coffee to go and a varied breakfast/lunch menu in the large cafe. Domenica restaurant is a local foodie favorite and worth a visit. Terrific location across the street from the theater where The Nutcracker ballet was performed.

The safe was located in a corner of the closet that was hard to get to. The bathroom walk-in shower was on the small side. When the fold-out sofa was moved, we noticed a stain on the carpet, which was off-putting.

The hotel is beautiful and walking distance to the french quarter and trolleys. The rooms were clean and comfortable, excellent in-room dining service. The staff in general was outstanding and professional. We ate at Domenica which was also great. We will definitely be back!

The Sazerac bar had great service but is really really crowded on the weekends. It was not a problem, but I added this just because they asked what we didn't like!

Beds were very comfy

When we arrived , we were given given our room cards and when we went to the room , it was unmade. Towels in floor beds all unmade and we checked in after 4:00. The receptionist was very kind and put us in another room but I don’t think it was what I had originally booked. Never expected to walk into a room well after check in time and it be unmade especially at a 4 star hotel. All in all we had a nice visit

The location was perfect. Stayed there just before Christmas and the decor was special. Arrived in around 8.30 and bar packed and limited selection of food outlets. But not a deal breaker. Ended up in another onsite bar and the barman was very helpful.

King rooms are very small. We had a lower floor facing an internal courtyard and it was dark. But bed very comfy.

Luxurious and quiet when staying in the hotel however when out and about it was very central located in the heart of NOLA and I enjoyed my espresso (in the room) very much each and every day.

Disappointed we could not get a private guide during the time of our stay as the hotel guide was busy and the internet was down in the hotel for a few days

The help from the staff arranging transportation from airport to hotel was seamless. Also arranged transportation for Halloween trip that was seamless also. We only come to NOLA for the week of Halloween but i always buy some Szarach for home and wife always gets a trinket or so from the in store shop.

The only thing that i really didn't like was the long walk from room to elevator and ice machine. Not much you can do about that.

Everything is nice and professionally maintained. I was not anywhere surprised or delighted, but importantly, there were no disappointments.

The hotel restaurant was booked on Easter Sunday. We ended up eating at a great seafood place down the street, The Fiery Crab. If you go there, I recommend the seafood boils, especially the lobster and shrimp with every seasoning combined. Amazing. I live near Chinatown in Manhattan, and the Fiery Crab is as good as the better places there. I'll have to get those boys to open one in Lower Manhattan or Times Square.
