Great central location for walking around town, finding great dinner spots or walking through the valley/mountains. The space was beautiful and comfortable with an incredible view! We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment (one en-suite, one additional bathroom) and it was a large space with kitchen and lounge - excellent!

We didn't check for firelighters/kindling for the fireplace and were unable to enjoy this great feature as we couldn't get the wood to burn (may also have been wet). There was no crockery in the kitchen other than glasses and some mugs for tea/coffee.

The staff members' service were really good. They make an effort to please the customer. And this is rare. The room sizes are good. The shower size is good. The restaurant is elegantly decorated and the food was good. The lodge is nicely decorated. The lodge is walking distance from coffee shops, restaurants and places worth seeing in Montagu. The pool area is lovely.

The glass/perspex shower wall should be wider, our floor was wet and we had to use our towels for the wet floor after a shower. The table on which the basin stands is huge but there is one small basin for a double room - that didn't make sense to me. The air con dripped water, so we had to put a towel on top of the cupboard to protect the wood. The generator was super noisy, I would suggest that they park it in a garage or somewhere where the sound is a bit muted. There's one small bin in the bathroom and nothing in the bedroom. I would put one in the bedroom as well. For a one night stay 1 bin is sufficient but if you stay longer, you need a bigger bin. The leaves should be scooped out of the pool more regularly.

The Staff were very accommodating, very friendly and made sure everything you needed was there before you could even think about it. The facilities were very good and I had the most beautiful view. Mimosa Lodge is very large so you can pick the kind of accommodation you like. The food, especially the breakfast that was included, was the best! Top class chefs! They even baked me gluten free bread as I can't eat wheat and made me a special sauce for my Kingklip since I am allergic to dairy. Really brilliant.

Everything. Great central location and excellent facilities All the staff were amazing and created a wonderful experience for us. My wife is disabled and they even offered to bring breakfast to her in the room to save her walking across the garden to the dining room. The evening meal was excellent and could not be faulted. All in all a memorable experience and we will definitely return. .

Central location Safe parking off the street

We were moved to a studio apartment instead of the 2 rooms we booked in the main building. Although this offered a lot of space, the was a lot of smell of smoke coming through the built in fireplace and braai, especially when the fan for the bathroom was on. It almost seemed the apartment was not finished furnishing, there were no curtains or blinds in the living room and the TV was not connected

Lovely modern, clean room overlooking the sea, with all facilities, fridge, coffee machine, DSTV tv. Good parking at front. Very pleasant dining room and great breakfast. Full restaurant is about 10 to 15 minutes' walk away past the small harbor containing the shark cage diving boats.

If anything, it would have been nice to have Netflix and YouTube available on the TV.

We had a perfect stay in the rooms of the Mimosa Lodge. The decision to make the fine dining experience with Bernhard was totally right, the food AND the wine was excellent. Thank you BTW for always keping the glasses full :-) The old rooms were still in very good shape and nicely equiped. The veranda towards the street was a nice location for the first dring as well as the garden for the last. Highly recommended!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely and clean and the breakfast was delicious. Definitely enjoyed my stay and would recommend Mimosa.

If the lodge had a hot pool it would have topped the experience luckily it is Summer so the pool was perfect for the hot days.

We have stayed many times at the mimosa, the staff are excellent helpful and friendly, the rooms were quite large and well equipped, a special thanks to Bernie the manager who is always so nice

The pool was full of leaves and berries and the pump was not working

Everything was amazing, the staff were profesional, kind and accomadating couldn't have asked for a better experience. I had a beautiful day view of the mountains, the food in the Grill house was delicious. Absolutely amazing.

There was no cutlery in the room. Aside from the teaspoons that came with the teacups, other than that everything was amazing
