Perfect central location to explore. Lovely farm setting.

There was an issue with our payment made two months ago being released from booking.com. The payment had to be manually released on the property side but for some reason we were included in the communication to the venue from their service provider/ booking.com on the chat. It was confusing and unnecessary to receive the messages as it seemed as if the booking wasn’t paid. Yet our payment was made online at the time we booked. This made our trip a little stressful as we weren’t sure what was needed from our side if anything. I did question the communication on the same chat. I don’t think it’s necessary to include this info. Booking.com must rather message the venue privately.

From the first moment upon arrival we were made to feel welcome by our hosts, and even received from fresh eggs from the "local" hens for breakfast the next morning. The cottage was neat and clean with a lovely shower and aircon was a bonus in the heat. Upon arrival we couldn't use the swimming pool, but the hosts worked very hard on the pool and following day after returning from our excursion, the swimming pool was in tip top condition and the cool water was blessing in the heat. Lovely mountain views, quiet and peaceful. Just the place to come and recharge a bit.

I cannot fault anything.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by our hosts Michele and Jeroen. The property itself was beautiful surrounded by a backdrop of majestic mountains. We got to see the Alpacas grazing and met Shelly and Rusty the chickens. Our Cottage was clean and had all the amenities that we needed. We got to relax and enjoy the pool as well. If you want to get away from the noise and hustle of life. This is the place to be. Thank you, Michele and Jeroen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

What a beautiful place with a beautiful view. Little cute house. The house is nearby the village, it’s easy to walk to a restaurant for example. Jeroen and Michele are very nice and helpful. We got good tips on what to do in the area.

Loved the location. Enjoyed the beautiful sunrise. Michele was a warm and friendly host- gave us so much valuable information of places we should visit. Excellent breakfast recommendation.

Nothing except the mosquitos really.

Booked this for my parents and they loved it! Beautiful location and they couldnt stop complimenting the friendly hosts. Run on solar power so you can be cool in summer with aircon included in every room whilst sleeping comfortably knowing the planet is in good hands.

Super beautiful property, with a wonderful outside area and pool and a gorgeous view of the mountains. Owners Michele and Jeroen were super friendly and gave us thorough information on all aspects of visiting Montagu. Cottage was nice and located within easy walking distance to everything in Montagu. The kids absolutely loved the chickens, they still talk about them.

It's setting on a small holding in the middle of town..Feel as if you are away from city life yet restaurants are within walking distance. Lovely garden ,swimming pool and hosts. Definitely on our list for future stays
