Martine was a fantastic informative host with delicious cooked breakfasts. Location was great. Accommodation was lovely and clean and tidy with a comfy bed. It was nice to have our own separate entrance. Our stay here really made our weekend brilliant. Thanks.

Is in a lively location at weekends but we were pre warned about this so took ear plugs so was fine.

Martina was an excellent and friendly host. The room was very clean and comfortable with lots of attention to detail (different types of tea and coffee, very nice toiletries, lots of storage space). The bed was extremely comfortable and Martina made us delicious breakfasts. It was also in a great location in the Old Town. We would definitely stay there again.

Couldn’t ask for a more prime location. Martina (the host) is very welcoming and made our stay so comfortable. She gave us great recommendations on what to do in Hastings. Breakfast was amazing!!

Everything was great

Everything!!! The room was so cozy with extremely comfortable bed and pillows, carpeted throughout, tea coffee making facilities, hair dryer, charger sockets, luxury toiletries, towels, plenty of storage and attraction leaflets etc. This B&B is located right on the beachfront in-between scenic cliffs with shops, restaurants, pubs and attractions all nearby within walking distances. It was approximately 20 minutes pleasant walk from Hastings Station to Cavalier House. The host Martina was exceptionally professional with a wealth of knowledge about Hastings, history and was super friendly in offering great advice on what to do in Hastings. We were slightly late for our check-in and she called me to check if we were ok? We went for the full English breakfast option with toast, eggs, bacon, baked beans, mushrooms and banana bread. We were offered coffee as well as orange juice. Extra fruits always available on the dining table. Delicious Breakfast! Martina always checked if we had everything we needed and offered us extra beach towels and topped up our coffee making facilities for our room. During one of our conversations with Martina I casually mentioned it was my partner's birthday the following day, and when we went for breakfast the next day she had a birthday balloon, a little candle on the banana bread, a bottle of champagne, chocolates and a card as a surprise for him! It was a lovely surprise and a beautiful gesture from Martina, we appreciate it very much! Overall, a brilliant stay at the Cavalier House in Hastings! We wouldn't think twice about staying here again. Loved our stay here and thank you for being a brilliant host.

Loved the location, extremely close to the beach and in the old town. Our hostess was extremely welcoming kind and friendly. Breakfast was fabulously catered for and was based in the host's kitchen. This was not a problem as she was so lovely but I did feel conscious we were in her house and therefore didn't want to spend too long lingering over the food. Ideally would have been perfect to have a little area to sit outside the basement level accommodation but there were outside stairs where we could sit and chill.

A fixed shower point and mini fridge.

Room was located separate from the house which was nice. (Basement room). Beachfront and restaurants close by. Breakfast was excellent.

For me personally, no TV. I like to relax in front of the TV after busy day exploring. My wife wasn’t bothered about no tv.

Perfect location for the beach & Hastings Old Town. Having the room self contained so we could come & go when we liked was a bonus. The room was beautifully decorated & really clean. Bed super comfy. Martina made the best full English breakfast we have had in a while 10 out of 10

Breakfast was very nice. Owner Martina made us fresh breakfast every morning and it was very good. Also the location is too good to walk around old town of Hastings!!

There are pubs nearby so can be noisy.

Perfect location, brilliant space, great host, amazing breakfast. The room is massive, clean and tidy, bathroom is big and spacious, I like that you have your own entrance as not to disturb anyone else in the property. Can adjust heating when its on.Worth every penny. And would definitely recommend and be visiting again.

No television (just for news or background noise)no fridge (would like store own drinks, water ect.) No curtains in room, even with blinds the sun's comes through really early . Could also do with an outdoor light as late at night it's difficult to see the keyhole.

The Cavalier House was perfectly located on the seafront in Hastings Old Town. Martina was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Lovely cooked breakfast with an extra special touch of freshly made banana bread. Will stay again!
