Very relaxing by the beach, spacious rooms, good breakfast sort of hidden away but not hard to find. Massive swimming pool Abundance of things to do with the family or with friends and partners. Locked the car up, hired a motorcycle out and travelled around the island. 9 hole golf course as part of the resort. 200 baht one way for the car and myself, which is exceptionally cheap I think.

Stayed 1 day at Marina Sands in a family room prior to 16 days at Peninsula bay. Peninsula Bay rooms are chalets on the beach... each has a garden area with loungers and then a couple of steps to the beach or sea(depending on whether the tide is in) The chalets form part of the blue haven bay resort which is mainly holiday homes. So attracts plenty of families and is v. quiet in the evenings. Room large, whilst shows signs of tiredness (the room) it was very clean and room service was great. Good Aircon, comfy v. large bed. Great view. Shuttle buses take you around resort or up to the village (to refill fridge or eat out/catch a taxi/Songtaew) Breakfast location for Marina Sands is on the estuary Breakfast options seem a bit limited after a few days. Nice rooftop pool at marina sands , very sparsely used. (most people go to the beach) We ate a couple of times at the Beach Bar and multiple times at Montee Seafood... My wife is Coeliac and took a Thai Gluten free card - both places recommended foods she could eat without any problems. Also ate at multiple places up at the main road, again - no issues & it's hotter than the forecast from overseas states...  averaged mid 30's most of January. Wifi good and 5G signal all over island

busy pool/beach area around beach bar. Though it was mainly busy 10-2... with a lot of people heading for shade or siesta before sunset.. & a shame the beach bar wasn't that little bit better.. But I'm being picky. I'd happily go back.

Lovely big rooms, good breakfast and show at night. Great sandy beach. Very picturesque location.

Everything was great except for receptionist that were not very helpful with the check in hours and did not seem to have much time for us. Property is sharing swimming pool and other facilities with another resort which i found unfair since there was no mention when I reserved the hotel which should be exclusive instead was nice but just above average. Great beach and very picturesque but not good for swimming. Ants on the breakfast bar . Prices a bit inflated for what you pay the room per night

This place is amazing, the view from the room is absolutely stunning. Nice rooms, good view, nice area and great resort. We have been here a couple of times and would be back more often if the food options would be better.

The only negative things to say is about the Breakfast at the Beach Club restaurant; The cheapest Macro food, the bread is still frozen, the hot dishes, the staff most mornings does not even bother to put the heating below, really not good. If they could get that finally up, or get the staff to be a bit interested in their job - this would be an awesome place! Thankfully there are other restaurants near by that do a much much much better job

No one explains in the reviews that the reception is far away from this particular resort. They probably do need more staff as well in reception as it can get busy. They do order you a shuttle/ large golf buggy to take you around. We also didn’t realise that you can order one from your room to collect you right outside & take you into the nearby village they drop you at the 7/11 & you give them a time & they collect you again for free so really handy as it’s very far to walk. It’s stops early though & also not really a party area so bear this in mind when booking. Suited us as very quiet & not party animals. The room was amazing better than the photos fantastic view of the sea from room very clean plenty of storage, free wi fi can be a bit sketchy but hey it’s Thailand. Own little garden area with sunbeds so no fighting to get them & super comfy! Bed was also super comfy too as a lot in Thailand can be very hard. Provided with beach towels in a bag & umbrella & lots of toiletries, safe & free water. Some comments say the rooms are old fashioned but we couldn’t fault it at all. Right near a national park which is protected you have one beach one side & another beach behind only issue is no parasols on the beach so bear careful as it’s an island & is extremely hot! Monkeys wandering about so funny but do not feed them, walk to the jetty where they fish off lots of amazing fish & great for snorkelling if you have one. As it’s in a bay you can walk out for miles it’s so shallow & beautiful calm seas tied goes in and out a lot & amazing sunsets & view of the famous lonely tree in the water. Breakfasts wasn’t amazing they can make you an omelette in the morning if you wish lots of choice to be fair but lots of flies could be covered up better but again right in the beach so couldn’t be better placed. We did have a meal there on the last night & to be fair it was delicious!

That the reception is so far away as there are 3 hotels/ condos on the same complex.

Beaches on two sides of the island so we could swim even if there were strong winds from the ocean or if low tide (on the other side). Huge pool. Nice staff. Good restaurant (even if the breakfast was a bit repetitive after 4-5 days). Interconnected rooms with our girls (plenty of privacy and space but also safety). Very good WiFi in the room (we worked from the room and had zoom calls without issues).

The air con stopped working in our room after 2-3 days. In the girls room it stopped working after 5 days for the last night. They tried to fix ours but it was still not working. The weather was stormy so it wasn't a huge issue and there was a fan that worked.

we stayed here for our 10 year anniversary, after our original booking was cancelled, and after our stay here we are glad it was! the resort is beautiful when you arrive from the road you do not expect it to be as gorgeous as it is when you get to your rooms! the beach view bungalows where incredible our bedroom/lounge area looked right out onto the private beach through huge sliding doors with a fitted mosquito net if you wanted to have them open! we literally woke up and walked straight out into the sea everyday. the restaurant is great with stunning views and the food and drink is reasonably priced. Koh chang was by far our favourite location and we have been in Thailand 2 months. The perfect resort for any occasion!

there was nothing we didn’t like!

Beautiful resort tucked away at the islands northern peninsula. Great views from both sides and nature all around. The villas are very pretty and have ocean view. The pool area is really nice as well with plenty of sunbeds. Downside can be that it is pretty far off from any town or stores. Also, the walls in the houses are quite thin so if you are unlucky with your neighbours you might experience their holiday too.

The location on a quiet sandy beach with great view , clear water , tropical gardens , junior sweet was clean , nice space with a garden directly on the beach, big bathroom & shower overall very nice 4 stars hotel

Many food items on the beach house resturant were not available on weekends or it just finished , but resturant food was good over all

Staff was super kind and professional. The room is amazing Restaurant and room with amazing views. Overall environment, calm and classy

I like the fact that the rooms aren't in a building and nature can surprise us. I understand when cleaning the rooms the staff can't close the doors but what happened after 1 time that the room was clean I found 4.small lizards inside .
